  1. Dear Mr. Bryant,
  2.
  3. I'm from the Los Santos Police Department, officer-in-charge of Office of Operations. My name is Daniel Smith and I'm a Lieutenant. Before I get to the point I would like to tell you a little about my work.
  4.
  5. As I wrote above, I'm currently running Office of Operations or OoO. This includes 95% of the police department operations, detectives, special vehicles, normal patrol so on so forth. Now lets get to the point.
  6.
  7. We are a rapidly growing city and department thus more requirements from the police department to cut down on crime. One of the tools we use is our aircraft. We have recently been involved with allot of fatal vehicle pursuits within city limit, which frankly is something we don't want. Now in order to cut down on that we use our helicopters.
  8.
  9. This brings me to the point. I am now setting up a Aviation Support Bureau and I find the process of training my officers very difficult and time consuming. I am a past employee of the FAA and I know this process very well. If you look up my name in the database you can find all my licenses and permissions. I am a certified instructor as well. This brings me to my request.
  10.
  11. I would like to work out some sort of scheme for us to be able to work together and make this process more efficient. I have a few ideas on how this could work. First of all I need to know your terms and if you are willing to work with us.
  12.
  13. Here is what I propose;
  14.
  15. - I'll have an officer come to the FAA and get through your training which would involve getting ARC, ROT, one helicopter rating & CFI. (Cost would be covered by LSPD)
  16. - That individual would then be able to train our officers when needed.
  17.
  18. or
  19.
  20. - Ill have an office come to the FAA and get through your training which would involve getting ARC, ROT and one helicopter rating ((LSPD Heli)). This officer is the one running the bureau.
  21. - We'll have one of your employees detected to training our officers upon request.
  22.
  23. Now about the cost. Every time that dedicated officer/FAA employee gives out a new rating it will be payed to the FAA.
  24.
  25. Now if you are willing to work with me on coming to a great agreement that would be great. If you could send me your terms and I'll try and make some sort agreement which would benefit both officials.
  26.
  27. Best regards,
  28. Office-in-charge of OoO,
  29. Lieutenant Daniel Smith
