This list* of mainstream media news sources is meant to kick the legs out from beneath a false narrative: that the "moderate rebels" the United States government and other Western governments have been training, funding, and arming for combat in Syria since 2012 are in any way "moderate" at all. Most if not all of these rebels share the same ideology of WAHHABISM/SALAFISM. This is the proper name for what the Western public knows as "Radical Islam", and it is also the state-sponsored religion of our 'allies' Saudi Arabia & Qatar. You will rarely, if ever, hear this ideology named directly on MSM, so as not to offend our extremist allies' sensibilities. ISIS and Al-Qaeda share this ideology, which explains why the "moderate rebels" so easily defect to join Jabhat Al-Nusra (Al-Qaeda in Syria) and ISIS time and time again. Do not believe Republican rhetoric when they peddle the fiction that "Obama is not involved enough" in the fight against ISIS. The United States government has been VERY involved in the conflict for the last 5 years, but mostly NOT against ISIS. The real enemy has been Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad the entire time, and the West has long been supporting the groups who share that enemy.
