  2. Avara has connected.
  3. Grace has connected.
  4. Narrator has connected.
  5. Actinidia has connected.
  6. Avara: HADOUKEN
  7. Grace: Hey, that's my shtick. :V
  8. Actinidia: love the RPG maker house in the corner.
  9. Actinidia: Adorable
  10. Avara: it is a store
  11. Avara: our mawile buddy
  12. Narrator: Hallo
  13. Avara: hallo
  14. Grace: hoi
  15. Actinidia: Hello! I will be a few mintues late, waiting for my steak to be done
  16. Actinidia: Like, three minutes late.
  17. Avara: it has been an age since we've played this.
  18. Avara: or feels like it.
  19. Narrator: Been 2 weeks iirc.
  20. Avara: feels way longeer
  21. DNA: I thought it was 3?
  22. MER: (( I swore it was just 2. ))
  23. MER: (( As in we played 3 weeks ago. ))
  24. MER: "I watched you like the dooooor."
  25. MER: (( lock* ))
  26. MER: "But you're fumbling on the keys."
  27. DNA: Watching someone like a door would be very boring.
  28. MER: "Oh we've heard it all before."
  29. MER: "You can't fight this twisted fantasy."
  30. MER: "Oh friend of mine, I'll wait for you to see."
  31. MER: "Don't you try to hide, you know you're better off with me."
  32. MER: "Cause nobody wants to be alone, even if they are only ghosts."
  33. MER: "I'm the devil on your shoulder and I'm only cold 'till you come closer."
  34. MER: "When you strain your eyes to find the light just know that I won't be far behind."
  35. MER: "Cause it's better in the dark. It's a hell of a ride."
  36. MER: "When you are a friend of mine
  37. When you are a friend of mine~"
  38. Avara: a thought. would all this music sound like how human-talk does to pokemon that can't understand humans?
  39. Avara: or is it somehow translated for us anyway
  40. MER: (( You understand it clearly. ))
  41. Avara: curious
  42. MER: "Don't have to search for more, I'll give you what you need."
  43. MER: "What are you waiting for? I'm right beside you tearing on your sleeve!"
  44. Avara: kinda like how the sign made perfect sense when it was powered up, but became jibberish when owered down.
  45. MER: "Oh friend of miiiiine~
  46. There is no use resisting me!"
  47. Avara: does the electronic device have any aura radiating off of it?
  48. MER: "You don't want to hide. Oh no! Cause you're just like me!"
  49. MER: "Cause nobody wants to be alone!
  50. Be alone~
  51. Be alooone~
  52. Be alooooooooooone~"
  53. MER: "...Oh my. It's kind of weird how much of that applies nowadays, ain't it?"
  54. MER: "That was Nobody Wants to be Alone by Christian Reindl, featuring Atrel."
  55. MER: "It's a tough world out there nowadays people and it's only getting tougher as time goes on."
  56. Actinidia: here
  57. MER: "Why, just the other day I went down to the MARC train station and guess what I found? Nothing. Absolutely nothing!"
  58. MER: "And that scared me more than anything else I've encountered in this...new...shitty ass world."
  59. MER: "And I've witnesssed a green frog metamorphisize while trying to kill me twice in the same day!"
  60. DNA: (metamorphose)
  61. MER: "But I...I don't hate that frog. Or anyone else. This place sucks and no one knows anything anymore. The ones who thought they did died. At least the ones I knew anyway."
  62. Avara: it's a person speaking, not narration. doesn't have to be precisely correct.
  63. MER: (( I appreciate the correct though. I'd rather know than not. Thank you both. ))
  64. MER: (( correction* ))
  65. DNA: I know. But it could be either way and it's better safe than sorry.
  66. DNA: ...I've heard you say 'conversate'.
  67. MER: "But, back to the MARC train station. You'd think it'd be full of trains. Right? It certainly was at the start of all this crap. But guess what? No trains. No glass. No nothing. It's empty, like the things were just never there to begin with!"
  68. MER: "No debris even! Like someone just picked them all up on their shoulders and walked off with them, leaving not even a shard of glass behind!"
  69. MER: "Have you ever tried to pick up a train before? They're not light let me tell you!"
  70. MER: "They taste pretty bad too. I know from experience on both accounts. But, I'm ranting, rambling and wasting your time on all this, aren't I?"
  71. MER: "You're not listening to MER Radio because you love the sound of my voice, right? You want music. You want a little comfort in this place that tries to eat you day in and day out."
  72. MER: "Well, next up will be Darkest Part by Red. Before I set that on, however, I have the weather report."
  73. MER: "Tomorrow will be roughly 82 degrees all damn day. And it'll be humid as the depths of hell if hell had water. That meaning it'll be 74 degree humidity."
  74. MER: "Good job for all you water dwelling types, eh? You could walk around and get your daily dose of hydration."
  75. MER: "It'll be somewhat windy. 10 mph wind and all that. Blowing east, southeast. I'm expecting a bad storm sometime this week."
  76. MER: "But tomorrow will be sunny. Bright and sunny folks. Enjoy it while it lasts!"
  77. Narrator: And you guys are all here, amiright?
  78. Actinidia: yes
  79. DNA: I'm here.
  80. Avara: here
  81. Grace: e
  82. Grace: ye I'm here
  83. July 28th, Wednesday.
  84. 71 degrees with 61 degree humidity. It feels nice.
  85. 12 mph wind blowing southeast.
  86. It's sunny.
  87. Time: 4:35 PM
  88. Actinidia: So, is htis a river flowing through the white house or a path?
  89. Actinidia: *is this
  90. DNA: River
  91. Narrator: So, the one thing that wasn't settled last itme was where the crystal was going to be placed.
  92. DNA: And I wasn't 100% sure on where either when mapping this place out. I couldn't remember if we did or didn't want it by the water.
  93. Avara: things we need to consider: placement for most effectiveness, shelter against aerial pokemon, and possibility of building for it.
  94. Actinidia: How far does it reach out again?
  95. DNA: 50 metres
  96. Grace: Well, near the water/on the grass seems to be the concensus. And we didn't want it too close to the wh or the building itself might take damage from it shifting the building itself.
  97. Avara: we can't cover the north-south of the garden, let alone the east-west.
  98. Actinidia: About where Act is, is where Act recommends. Covers the most grassy area, overlaps the water just a bit, and it is closer to the building than anything else.
  99. Avara: putting it higher up will let it disperse more. maybe we can try building an arch above the river?
  100. Actinidia: Higher lets it disperse more? It doesn't work like a sphere?
  101. Avara: i think? i don't remember for sure.
  102. Avara: GM?
  103. Avara: it DOES go through things, so we can encase it for protection
  104. Narrator: Made an aura so you can see how far it reaches.
  105. Grace: No if it goes higher, it has a lesser area. At ground level getsthe widest area.
  106. Narrator: Yes, it works like a sphere.
  107. Avara: ok.
  108. Avara: so i still think an arch above the water is the best idea
  109. Avara: we can encase it to protect it from aerial mons and it'll be off the ground and over water, to protect from subterranean mons
  110. Grace: That wouldn't be too have bad of an idea.
  111. DNA: Acceptable.
  112. Actinidia: Hm. If that's what everyone likes, it does hit a majority of my interests.
  113. Avara: so can we see it positioned to be as middle-of-the-earth as possible north-south, above the river maybe a meter or so?
  114. DNA: I was thinking at least 2 metres above the river.
  115. Narrator: There?
  116. Avara: yar. how much would the area on the ground shrink for being 2 meters up?
  117. Narrator: That.
  118. Narrator: I changed the aura.
  119. Avara: looks acceptable to me.
  120. Actinidia: looks good.
  121. Actinidia: now how are we going to build to it?
  122. Actinidia: Ah, move it up a square or two. Err on the side of the building.
  123. Avara: the same way we built the store house and the staircase? by hand.
  124. Actinidia: The aura JUST changed for me.
  125. DNA: Ah, now it has shrunken.
  126. Avara: mhm
  127. Narrator: That was 1 square north.
  128. Narrator: Up one more square or is that good?
  129. Actinidia: One more
  130. Actinidia: That works!
  131. Grace is disconnected.
  132. Narrator: And Grace DC'd.
  133. Actinidia: Are we waiting on something? I'm not sure.
  134. Narrator: Hopefully not on me. I did what I was supposed to do (and Grace DC'd).
  135. Narrator: She's been DC'd for like 7 minutes so who knows if she'll be back or not. She mentioned she might poof.
  136. Actinidia: Makes sense.
  137. Actinidia: "Hm, hmm... things seem to be growing already."
  138. Actinidia: Actinidia examines the bushes. Cunning!
  139. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Getting that up onto the pillar itself was the trickiest part."
  140. Actinidia: Cunning! 4+3+6+1=14
  141. Narrator: 渋い
  142. Narrator: ^ That was the ??.
  143. Actinidia: "Hm, they're already growing fruit."
  144. Actinidia: "渋い flavor?"
  145. Actinidia: "Hm hm hm~ Very promising."
  146. Actinidia: "Hopefully we can grow aplenty."
  147. Actinidia: Actinidia walked back to the others. "Hjadvir, is there any news since we've been gone? It wasn't very long, but it certainly felt like it. Just one of those days, you know?"
  148. Hjadvir (The Father): "You were gone for only a few hours, yes? We've taken the time to lounge about, resting after all the work we went through for the past few days!"
  149. Hjadvir (The Father): "Not much change here. Though I had planned to see about inspiring some evolution in the others after many of you returned newly formed!"
  150. Actinidia: ((Wait, did we hit level 5?))
  151. Pierce Mars Oswell: No - just everyone else evolved.
  152. Actinidia: "Hm... I'm not sure myself. Some of them triggered by exposure to aura, but we don't want to damage a flower that is granting us food just for an evolutionary shortcut." Actinidia paced and rubbed her chin. "Grace... I did't see Grace evolve." Actinidia turned ot Etna, "Did you notice anything in her transformation?"
  153. Avara: we used stuff from the world around us to evolve. aura incidents.
  154. Etna Tracey: "She made contact with the weird anti-aura void pocket things underground, or nearly made contact, while she was fighting. I think training in the area of the flower should be enough to help along training for the group, though."
  155. Actinidia: "And I haven't evolved yet, so nothing applicable."
  156. Actinidia: "If I might ask another question Hjadvir, while you've been working, are there any supplies you've found lacking? Anything that the others might want to have for leasure? Until we know how much food these plants will grow, our to-do list is rather short at the moment."
  157. Hjadvir (The Father): (( And I think I noticed another erorr in the pokedex. Yay) ))
  158. DNA: 'erorr'
  159. Hjadvir (The Father): (( Oh, it isn't an error. WEIRD. ))
  160. Hjadvir (The Father): (( My adobe is being a laggy fuck. ))
  161. Grace has connected.
  162. Grace: back ty for waiting
  163. Avara: welcome back
  164. Grace: what'd I miss?
  165. Avara: we did the thing
  166. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) tilts his head to ponder deeply for a moment.
  167. Avara: hjadvir wants to do training-type stuff with the clan to try and inspire more evolutions
  168. Grace: Noice~
  169. Avara: because we are inspiring.
  170. Grace: Yeah, that'd be a decent idea!
  171. Hjadvir (The Father): "I suppose heat would be something nice to have. It's cold at night."
  172. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...If anyone asks me to lug back a water heater, the answer is pre-emptively 'no'."
  173. Etna Tracey: "Heat. So either a way to have safe fire, or we can try and work out how to restore the internal heating system. I imagine that this place had back-up generators, and we could try and make a basic water wheel set-up if we can work it out."
  174. Etna Tracey: "Incoming."
  175. Grace Leonhardt: "We might find one for sale or well... trade with the resident mercha...nt?"
  176. Actinidia: "That's quite ambitious. We'd also need to patch all the holes in the builidng."
  177. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will point over at the direction of the crystal. "I think something's going on over there?"
  178. Actinidia: "...Yes, a human?"
  179. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...So it is. Let's go."
  180. Avara: is there a way to cross the river built up or prepared, or do we ford it?
  181. Narrator: By the entrance.
  182. Narrator: Of the white house.
  183. Avara: ok
  184. Etna Tracey: Etna approaches the incoming group of pokemon and child, saying a greeting in both languages. "Hello, what brings you here?"
  185. Child: Child glances up at Etna and tilts his head, "Curious..." Child kneels down by the plant.
  186. Meowstic F: Meowstic F watches as all of you move closer toward them.
  187. Actinidia: "(Would you mind if I took a look at it with you?)" Actinidia asked in human speech. "(We've just grown them, and we haven't had a chance to pick any yet. I don't know what they are or what they'll do.)"
  188. Child: Child gently traces his fingers around the bush of the flower and bites his bottom lip, "Hmm...it'll be a tree in a few days. Much slower than the last few we saw."
  189. Etna Tracey: Etna keeps approaching.
  190. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) flies up 4 meters and readies.
  191. Actinidia: "(Others? These are the first we've seen. Do you know how to help them grow bigger?)"
  192. Grace Leonhardt: Grace stays silent, and she'll scoot after Etna slowly.
  193. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) goes up 4 meter(s).
  194. Etna Tracey: "Down. I'm not here to attack, pidgeot. I asked you a question. You're in our territory."
  195. Child: Child points up at Pidgeot, "Nothing unless they do something first."
  196. Etna Tracey: "All I want to know is why you're here."
  197. Child: Child points to Etna, "And you do nothing too. I'm just looking."
  198. Etna Tracey: Etna goes around the pidgeot, and looks at the tree as well.
  199. Child: Child holds his hand up to Etna, "Personal bubble. 4 meters please. You're invading."
  200. Etna Tracey: "You. Are invading."
  201. Etna Tracey: "This is our home."
  202. Pierce Mars Oswell: (Can only Etna and Act understand him?)
  203. Actinidia: ((Act can))
  204. Child: Child stands up and tilts his head, "Not common I see talking Pokémon. And last I recall the White House belonged to the president." Child shrugs, "I went here a few times on field trips. But back up. I said I was just looking."
  205. Grace Leonhardt: Grace watches a touch nervously from behind Etna, even though she could probably benchpress a tree.
  206. Actinidia: "(Are you willing to trade? You can have some of the fruits if you're willing to share information."
  207. Etna Tracey: "Whatever president may have claimed it before, this is our home now. You cannot walk into someone's home and order them around."
  208. Child: Child glances to Actinidia then back to Etna, "At least one of you is civil." Child turns to Actinidia, "This is the last time I'll ask. Tell your friend to move away from me."
  209. Etna Tracey: Etna looks up at the Pidgeot, who is still in melee range for the Huge ice pokemon. "Your height doesn't intimidate me."
  210. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) smirks.
  211. Actinidia: "Hm... Etna, he does make a point. Trespassing is one thing, personal space is another. I'd give him the four meters. He hasn't misbehaved."
  212. Etna Tracey: "No."
  213. Etna Tracey: "Stepping on someone's home ground IS misbehaving."
  214. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Both of you, quiet down. Etna, you can afford to take a couple steps back. Kid, you can afford to stop goading a dinosaur at every chance you get."
  215. Child: Child rubs the back of his head a bit before frowning and looks down at his hand and counts his index finger.
  216. Etna Tracey: Etna prepares an action for if Child orders his friends to attack.
  217. Child: Child counts his middle finger.
  218. Child: Child glances up to Etna, "You know you're a little hurt?"
  219. Child: Child counts his ring finger.
  220. Etna Tracey: "We've fought to protect people. Our home, the homes of others. It's what we do. I have to be rude, to ensure that the safety of my people is respected."
  221. Etna Tracey: "All I've asked is why you are here. You ignored this."
  222. Child: "You've ignored my request as well." Child places his hands in his pockets, "And here I wasn't even looking for something that weak to Fighting..."
  223. Child: Child quickly swipes his hands from his pockets and flings a ball at Etna!
  224. 21 vs. DEF!
  225. Avara: already? huh. color me impressed.
  226. Child: (( If I'm reading right...17? ))
  227. Avara: base power plus evolution bonus?
  228. Avara: yeah.
  229. Child: Child's capture attempt!
  230. 20
  231. Avara: this... is going to end well for nobody.
  232. Narrator: I actually wasn't expecting the dice to really hate you,
  233. Sec for finding a sprite.
  234. Actinidia: Actinidia sighed. "Well then, she's sitting out of this one. I'll expect you to leave the pokeball here when you're on your way out. Now can we have our conversation?"
  235. Avara: >expecting the rng not to hate the players
  236. Avara: >after the weeks we've had
  237. Avara: you're funny.
  238. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Wait, what was that?"
  239. Actinidia: "A pokeball."
  240. Avara: rob, dna, wait
  241. Avara: let kao fluff out the first pokeball we've ever encountered
  242. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will jump at seeing Etna disappear, even more so by the fact that pokeballs seem to exist now. "H-Hey! You let her go!"
  243. Avara: wait
  244. Grace: my b
  245. A red ball flashes out of the childs hand and slams firmly into Etna's face before swallowing her up a deep, black light and snapping shut with a loud clank.
  246. The bright red ball lands on the ground with a heavy 'WUFT' and shakes a few times. You can hear the sounds of Etna grunting and straining against the metal before it snaps shut and clicks tightly, signaling both a lock and a successful capture..
  247. Child: Child sighs and lifts his shirt a bit, counting the balls he had. Half are red and the other half are grey and blue, "...Guess I'll have to see about making my own Personal Computer Storage Box. That one didn't teleport either."
  248. Pierce Mars Oswell: I planned to say the same thing regardless, so "...Wait. What was that?"
  249. Actinidia: Actinidia walks over and picks up the ball.
  250. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will run over as well, looking over Act's shoulder hoping she can get it open or something.
  251. Actinidia: Actinidia taps the button on the front of the ball, seeing of that releases her.
  252. Avara: does anyone on the kid's side try to interfere with act messing with the ball?
  253. The button presses and gives a 'Bnnnzt!' sound, signaling you cannot open it.
  254. Child: "Hm. I guess they always do that."
  255. Actinidia: "Hm. Unusual. You can't open them either?"
  256. Avara: Etna is currently a aurain a ball, and cannot do anything. if she could, she would be using attacks to try to break the ball
  257. Avara: can etna sense anything outside the ball?
  258. Child: Child crosses his arms, "Heh, they're mine. I can open them. But you lot can't." Child waves friendily to Actinidia, "You're rational. As long as you can keep the others civil, I won't take anyone else. I'm not interested in anything I've seen here anyway."
  259. Child: (( She can. ))
  260. Avara: ok.
  261. Actinidia: "Oh, no. You will release her as well." Actinidia said. It wasn't a threat or stated forcefully. Just a statement, as natural as mentioning that today was humid.
  262. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will point at him, "Fine, leave or whatever, but you can't leave Etna like that!"
  263. Grace Leonhardt: "O-Or with her for that mater!)
  264. Grace Leonhardt: mater!"*
  265. Child: "She didn't seem that smart. Or nice. I don't like Pokémon like that." Child shrugs, "Rude to protect her friends? That's not how it works."
  266. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars didn't get any answer to his question, and with the situation panning out, he probably wasn't going to. So, knowing that he knew nothing, he did the smart thing. "Act, I would like you to very slowly, and very calmly, tell me what I should do next."
  267. Child: "I get it. You're all probably mad. Seemed like you liked her or something. And to each their own, but I think you can find better friends." Child adjusted the straps underneath his shirt, "I'll let her out when I'm ready to go. But if she attacks me, I'll just Sacred Sword her. Try to keep her sensible when I'm walking out."
  268. Child: "In the meantime, I think I'll look around? My mom came here with me last year on my field trip."
  269. Actinidia: Actinidia turned to Mars. "Breathe, keep calm. This is a pokeball, Etna is inside of it. It's useless to the child, and he doesn't even really want her." Actinidia turned back. "So here's the deal. I don't want to fight you. Etna in here does. She's screaming at me right now. So, if you couldn't tell, we're all former humans here. We know what's going on, we know what htis is. Except Mars because he isn't a nerd. "
  270. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars could not understand human speech, but felt like he was subtly being dissed.
  271. Grace Leonhardt: Being a touch pissed herself, she tries to listen to act, and take a deep breath, as her anger at this child's arrogance to pretty much hold Etna prisoner was overcoming her nervousness of the situation.
  272. Actinidia: "So~ I think it is best that you head over to the gate, let Etna go, then fly away on the pidgeot before any fireworks go. I know you're confident, so are we. And that's a good way to get a lot of people killed."
  273. Actinidia: Communication Persuasion 1+3+1+6=11 (STUNT! 1 Stunt Point)
  274. Actinidia: > RNG hating us.
  275. Child: "Confident?" Child tilts his head and gives a : | face.
  276. Child: Self-Discipline:
  277. 15
  278. Child: "I don't know that I am. I just don't care anymore. Most Pokémon I've met were pretty hateful. All of them were human once too."
  279. You whisper to Narrator: A thought, but can Hjadvir or any of the other snakes see this going on? Does it compel them to do anything?
  280. Child whispers: They're all watching. Some shocked. Most angry.
  281. Actinidia: "Probably jealous. I'm enjoying myself though, when I have enough food. Which is what this whole project was about." Actinidia looks to the fields.
  282. You whisper to Narrator: Mars tries to glance back to Hjadvir, if he can see from there. Any reaction?
  283. Child: "Mom and dad are both gone." Child looked up at the sky, "Dad killed mom. Then tried to kill me. Don't think he knew I was awake after the ceiling collapsed."
  284. Child: "If you guys want to do something about me walking around. Go ahead. I've got what I need to keep me going. I'm not going to take anything. But I'm going to see the last time mom was happy, even if it kills me."
  285. Actinidia: "I'm sorry to hear that." Actinidia said, sincerely. She could psychically hear Etna screaming at her.
  286. Avara: etna is not screaming.
  287. Avara: she's biding her time.
  288. Actinidia: "My name is Actinidia. This is Mars, and here is Grace. Etna was the one you captured."
  289. Grace Leonhardt: The resident kungfu jackal continued to be angry at the child, his words going unknown.
  290. Actinidia: "You stumbled on us at an.. interesting time. We really do want to be more welcoming, but the situation is still dire and we haven't worked out how public we want this place to be."
  291. Avara: ... and honestly i'm kind of tempted to want to see etna gone. whatever this kid does with her would be interesting if he had a reason to keep her, and the effect on the party would be extremely interesting
  292. Child: "Rouge." Child said, glancing to the ball in Actinidia's hand, "...Do what you want. Hold onto that ball if you want to."
  293. Actinidia: Actinidia turned to the others and translated into pokemon, paraphrasing here and there but sharing that he seemed to intend to let Etna go. That he seemed more broken than arrogant, and he just wanted to see something related to his dead parents.
  294. Avara: that said, i'm not feeling especially well tonight. so i'm also pretty much ok with her being stuck in the ball.
  295. Child: Child motioned at the sky.
  296. Pierce Mars Oswell: "His...his dead parents?"
  297. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) goes down 4 meter(s).
  298. Pierce Mars Oswell: He wasn't sure why, but he wasn't expecting a comment like that. It made him feel...uneasy.
  299. Child: Dex (Riding):
  300. 15
  301. Avara: narrator, mind if i sit out the rest of the night?
  302. Child: Child climbs aboard Pidgeot (M)'s back and pointed to the white house.
  303. Child: (( If you want to. ))
  304. Actinidia: Actinidia followed.
  305. Avara: i will. thanks, and sorry. have fun, everyone!
  306. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) flies up into the air and toward the white house.
  307. Avara is disconnected.
  308. Grace Leonhardt: Grace's anger fizzles out a touch after hearing that she was gonna be let go, as well as the fact that he's just kinda broken, even as a child. Seeing him motion to the white house, she'll follow after the bird with Act.
  309. Meowstic F: A black beam struck Meowstic F and she vanished.
  310. Child: Child goes up 5 meter(s).
  311. * Pierce Mars Oswell just wordlessly walks alongside next to Act.
  312. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) goes up 5 meter(s).
  313. Child: Child goes down 2 meter(s).
  314. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) goes down 2 meter(s).
  315. Hjadvir (The Father): "You haven't struck the intruders yet. We're wondering what you want us to do..."
  316. Child: Child looks around at the devastated building and bites his lower lip.
  317. Child: "Pidgeot. Inside."
  318. Actinidia: "He just wants to explore, he said he wouldn't take anything. We didn't know how to react, whether he was a guest or a trespasser. We'll have to define clear rules later." Actinidia said, before rushing after the child.
  319. Actinidia: "Lost sight of him..."
  320. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) follows a bit, "We'll...wait out here. If we hear any battle we're rushing in!"
  321. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah. I'd...appreciate that, Hjadvir." Mars then hurriedly followed after Act.
  322. Actinidia: "Thank you Hjadvir. We'll have to have some set of security codes and preplanned defenses."
  323. Actinidia: "So..." Actinidia said to Grace and Mars. "... he started to cry when he came in here, first time he emoted. ...I feel like we have to look out for him."
  324. Pierce Mars Oswell: Smelling which way he went. 2+6+1+5=14
  325. Pierce Mars Oswell: "......Probably."
  326. Actinidia: Hearing 4+4+6+3=17 (STUNT! 4 Stunt Points)
  327. Grace Leonhardt: "It might be a good idea to check the oval office. That's probably the first place anyone would go if they visit here... and... I think I hear something from that way..."
  328. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) goes down 3 meter(s).
  329. Child: Child goes down 0 meter(s).
  330. Child: Child goes down 3 meter(s).
  331. Actinidia: listening for the pidgeot
  332. Hjadvir (The Father) whispers: His scent is strongest east, southside.
  333. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...I think Grace is right. He's in the south east."
  334. Grace Leonhardt: Grace peaks into the office, and peaks back to the other two and waves them over, and points into the doorway.
  335. Actinidia: "I hope this isn't the breeding room."
  336. Actinidia: Actinidia walked in, "... are you doing okay?" She asked in human.
  337. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Pretty sure the breeding room is on the opposite side of the building."
  338. Child: Child is pressed against the broken window, his hands bleeding as he grips the shards of glass still lodged into the frame.
  339. Child: "I always said, 'the world would be a much better place if it were the pokemon world.' I wished for it on my birthday, just when school let out."
  340. Child: "Going on the league journey, meeting all the happy and awesome Pokémon in the wild...adventuring and meeting new friends. Everyone always happy and even the bad guys aren't really messing things up all that badly. They're really just bullies and aren't always good at pokemon battles...and winning the battle meant that was it. No more bullying. At least today."
  341. Actinidia: Actinidia got close, but not too close, and took a seat and listened.
  342. Child: Child looked up at the sky again and sighed, "...I got what I wanted. There's Pokémon everywhere. But no one's nice. Everyone's still bullies. But winning a battle doesn't mean anything. Except you're always losing friends."
  343. * Pierce Mars Oswell just stays at the door. He doesn't feel comfortable getting too close to the kid.
  344. Grace Leonhardt: Grace approaces, and can't really make out what he's saying, but seeing him hold bloody glass, it's probably good for him to vent.
  345. Actinidia: Actinidia reached in to her backpack, pulled out a hersey's chocolate bar. "Come here, sit down. Have a bar of chocolate and I'll make sure your hand is doing okay. We've got to take this one day at a time, alright?"
  346. Child: Child suddenly punched the glass, shattering it, "Why did I wish for this adventure?! I ruined everything! Dad was always mean and mad but he never hurt mom before! And then....and then he just...just ripped her head off without a second thought!"
  347. Actinidia: Persuasion to generally calm down, get him to feel comfortable or safe 5+4+5+6=20 (STUNT! 5 Stunt Points)
  348. Child: 19
  349. Child: (( DICE! ))
  350. Child: Child turns and glances to Pidgeot before walking over to Actinidia and slumping down against her.
  351. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) watched Actinidia like a papa hawk. Readied.
  352. Actinidia: Actinidia enters Healer Mode and holds her hand over the child's.
  353. Actinidia: "I'm just going to heal him." She sad to the Pidgeot in pokemon.
  354. Child: "...He was always mean and angry...but I thought he loved us. Why would...why would he do that to us...?"
  355. Child: Child didn't touch the chocolate.
  356. Actinidia: Synthesis. TN 9 3+3+4+5=15 (STUNT! 3 Stunt Points)
  357. Actinidia: The cuts in the child's hand heals.
  358. Child: Child feels the slices in his hands knit back together. His skin becoming new baby smooth.
  359. Actinidia: "I can't pretend to know your father better than you. I can't say for certain either. But when he transformed, he must have been confused. And when he saw other monsters... he probably saw other monsters..."
  360. Child: "...I'm Rouge..." Child said after a long moment and wiped his face without much success.
  361. Child: Child stood up and used Pidgeot's feathers to wipe the tears and snot off his face.
  362. Actinidia: "Actinidia." Act said with a smile. She had said it before, but it seemed in order.
  363. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) flinched when he felt what was happening.
  364. >:/
  365. Child: Child inhales deeply before nodding to himself and climbing back on top of Pidgeot.
  366. 10
  367. Child: Child stumbled a bit and nearly yanks some of the feathers out of Pidgeot.
  368. Pidgeot (M): "!!!!!!" Pidgeot (M) winces and leans down a bit to make it easier for Rouge to climb.
  369. Actinidia: "You don't have to leave now, if you don't want to. I'm sorry how things went before. Even if Etna is still on edge, I... I would like to be your friend." Actinidia smiled, "I'm a mother, you know. A lot of this... a lot of this hits pretty hard."
  370. Rouge: "No, I don't think I'm safe here. You still haven't figured out how to welcome people right?"
  371. Rouge: "Besides, I can't sit in one spot. I have to try to make the world a better place. Mom would've wanted me to if I could. And I can." Rouge looks away briefly, 'You...just saw me on a bad day is all. I'm okay now."
  372. Actinidia: Actinidia laughed softly, "That might be true. But all our leaders are in this room." She paused. "Can you make me a promise?"
  373. Rouge: Rouge paused, "...Not until I know what it is."
  374. Actinidia: "We are the Seekers of Hope. We want ot make a better world of what we are. We don't want to undo want is done, we want to live and move on. We will learn how to welcome others, and I'm sure you will make the world a better place. And when we do, I want you to come back and visit, so we can both see how far we've both come."
  375. Actinidia: "And... well... let Etna out of this pokeball. She might stare daggers at you, but the Etna I know, the one who loves her friends more than anything, wouldn't attack you after what you've said. I can promise that."
  376. Rouge: Rouge reaches down to take the Poké Ball, "...Sure. Give it here."
  377. Actinidia: Actinidia holds it up, trusting him real hard.
  378. Rouge: Rouge takes the ball and after fiddling with it for a second, opens the ball still in his palm and releases Etna onto the ground in the corner of the room.
  379. Actinidia: Act readies to intercept any attacks, though she doubts they will come. She keeps her word.
  380. Actinidia: "Take care Rouge. There is good out there, we've even met some. You have to look real hard, but we're all in this together."
  381. Rouge: Rouge pauses for a moment and motions outside, "...You mentioned something about the bushes. They'll grow into tree's. You've got Lum growing on your lawn."
  382. Rouge: "They're going to taste really bad though. Dry."
  383. Grace Leonhardt: She'll let out a long sigh of relief seeing that Etna was let go safe and sound without needing a fight.
  384. Actinidia: "Thank you. .. we don't want to eat meat, not when everything's a person now. I really hope it will do." Actinidia tosses the chocolate up to Rouge, "If you don't want this, your kitty cat will. It makes aura attacks stronger. And tastes good."
  385. Rouge: "Though, if you get any tree's with a single big colored bulb at the top growing in your lawn. You'll want to chop them down, I guess, being Pokémon. They allow me to make these." Rouge motions to the Poké Balls.
  386. Rouge: Rouge pauses and catches the chocolate, "...Aura? You mean Special Attacks?"
  387. Actinidia: "Yes, that. We've been calling it aura. I can't remember where that started..."
  388. Rouge: Rouge frowns, unsure either. Rouge reaches into his pocket and pulls something out and looks at it in the palm of his hand, "...Well, whatever. I'll fly out of here. I wanted to see what the Aerodactyl were up to, circling one of the towers. Aerodactyl are cool."
  389. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M) rolled his eyes to the comment.
  390. Rouge: "But, I'll come back here. And wait to be invited in, so I won't make your friend mad." Rouge tossed the thing in his hand to Actinidia for her to catch, "...For the chocolate. And because you're the first nice Pokémon I've met in a long time. You give me hope."
  391. Rouge: Rouge gently pats Pidgeot, "Pidgeot, let's fly!"
  392. Pidgeot (M): "('bout time! I've been ready to go before we got here!)"
  393. Pidgeot (M): Pidgeot (M), with Rouge, flies out of the room with a strong flap!
  394. Actinidia: Actinidia waved until he was gone, then looked at the item.
  395. * Pierce Mars Oswell stood there and made sure he exited safely.
  396. Actinidia: "So..." Actinidia said looking to the others, "He had quite the story. His name is Rouge."
  397. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will nod her head, and listen intently wanting to know what just happened.
  398. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Rouge, huh... Interesting name."
  399. Actinidia: "I told you from before, that his dad killed his mom...." Actinidia started to go into detail on what the boy had told Actinidia.
  400. Actinidia: "... but I think we gave him hope. And a reason to come back." Actinidia smiled, "So.. the world is a little bit better now, right?"
  401. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...I damn well hope so."
  402. Grace Leonhardt: "I hope so to... I hope that he lets those other... pokemon he has captured out soon..."
  403. Pierce Mars Oswell: He looks down. "Because if it doesn't, we're next."
  404. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I don't know what that round thing was, or what it did, but you're going to have to explain it all to me. In layman's terms."
  405. Avara has connected.
  406. Actinidia: "This whole thing has taught me two things. One, we don't have an MO for where our land is public, and where it is private. Second, we have no security other than everyone rushing to the strange thing."
  407. Grace Leonhardt: "Uh... long story short that was a pokeball. A device that was made to capture pokemon aka... us, and to let children carry up to 6 in the games, pokemon."
  408. Grace Leonhardt: "The weird thing is, those are suposed to be super futuristic and stuff. It... shouldn't be possible for those to work like they do in the games... unless the government had some pokemon fans, or they're being made by someone or just... spawning."
  409. Etna Tracey: Etna shakes off her dazedness from being aura. "I seem to remember wanting to arrange patrols. And a meeting party at the gate to sort that stuff out before people just walk the fuck in."
  410. Actinidia: "Okay, in laymans terms. Pokemon is short for Pocket Monsters. Monsters that fit in your Pocket. You catch monsters in capsules called Pokeballs, which is what that was, and carry them around to use them in battle. In the games, the monsters are just up for whatever after they are caught, and inevitably love their new trainer. Because that makes the games easy. Real life is a bit tricker."
  411. Pierce Mars Oswell: "So...how do those Ball things open and close?"
  412. Actinidia: "I guess only the trainer can open and close them. Which is why I needed to buddy buddy with him. Or threaten him."
  413. Grace Leonhardt: "Well, they're kinda hinged on the back. THe little button on the front is able to make the ball itself shring or open up depending on how you press it I think? Just... try to avoid getting beaned by one. Getting hit directly is how they capture you with one."
  414. Actinidia: "It works better on damaged pokemon than healthy pokemon. Which seems to be real here too, he said Etna was hurt before he caught her."
  415. Etna Tracey: "This just means it's even more important we work on security for the base now. If kids have pokeballs."
  416. Pierce Mars Oswell: "So how do you break someone out of one?"
  417. Actinidia: "I don't know. I convinced Rouge to let Etna out. Maybe we could reverse engineer them? If we get the pokeball we might be able to take them appart."
  418. Grace Leonhardt: "Which... makes me worry about the fact that we're all technically wild, and any child can do that to us and run... well except Etna now? She's already been caught so other balls shouldn't work on her now... I think? So... we either need someone we can trust to 'capture us', or we just get really good at dodging. As for leaving one... in the show pokemon can willingly? But... I donno."
  419. Avara: did the kid keep etna's ball or leave it with us?
  420. Actinidia: ((Not sure))
  421. Narrator: He took it with him.
  422. Avara: well. that's un-good.
  423. Avara: i wouldn't call it outright bad yet, but it's definitely not good.
  424. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I mean. ...I definitely feel for the kid, but not everyone's going to be as heartbroken as he was. Opportunists come in all flavors."
  425. Grace Leonhardt: "You're not wrong to be honest. We need a way to deal with the pokeballs though... I'd rather not have any of us get carted off..." She'll say her ears folding back at the thought.
  426. Etna Tracey: "The kid said something interesting before throwing the ball."
  427. Actinidia: "Wasn't there a gamecube game about stealing other people's pokemon? A snag machine? Mabye we can make a device to hijack pokeballs and steal them from trainers."
  428. Etna Tracey: "'You know you're hurt, right?'"
  429. Grace Leonhardt: "Well... that was supposed to be like... super rare or experimental tech if I'm remembering the col. games right."
  430. Actinidia: "And pokeballs aren't? A child made one, we can make a snagger."
  431. Etna Tracey: ... Etna, being ignored by all, lays down and starts planning stuff like patrol routes.
  432. Actinidia: Actinidia looked to Etna. "I did notice that. We might need to be damaged for them to work, like the games."
  433. Actinidia: Actinidia uses Synthesis on Etna.
  434. Actinidia: tn9 3+1+4+5=13
  435. Actinidia: 11 Hp restored. +8 if it counts as sunny in here by the window.
  436. Actinidia: Actinidia loses 2 power.
  437. Etna Tracey: Etna Tracey is healed and gains 11 health.
  438. Narrator: I'll say yes for sunlight
  439. Etna Tracey: Etna Tracey is healed and gains 8 health.
  440. Grace Leonhardt: She'll hum at Act's response, and she'll just let out a long tired sigh. "I'm... just still kinda blown away that we found out that balls are a thing, and a kid can grab you anywhere. Kinda thankful that they can't just grab you and you POOF off and stuff... but still..."
  441. Actinidia: "He said they've been doing that, and he has to make a PC somehow."
  442. Narrator: He said they didn't, actually.
  443. Actinidia: ((huh?))
  444. Narrator: Then he looked at all the balls he had under his shirt in disappointment.
  445. Actinidia: ((Act meant that he said they haven't been poofing. I must have misunderstood him))
  446. Narrator: The comment Grace is making was about them warping off to the PC Box. Rouge mentioned that they didn't do that like in the video games and then showerd that he had way more than 6 pokemon carried with him.
  447. Avara: they mean the trainer running off, not the balls porting
  448. Narrator: Ah, okay.
  449. Narrator: I misunderstood then. Nevermindme!
  450. Avara: mm. all good.
  451. Actinidia: "He also gave me this candy."
  452. Actinidia: "I think it might be a rare candy..."
  453. Grace Leonhardt: "...Okay, I'm actually curious on what those actually tasted like... but what would it do to us as is...?"
  454. Etna Tracey: Etna lifts her head, and spends 2 PP while looking at the candy.
  455. Etna Tracey: Etna Tracey loses 2 power.
  456. Actinidia: Actinidia examines the candy. Cunning! 6
  457. Etna Tracey: Etna uses her Divine Eyes to try and identify the candy's aura.
  458. Etna Tracey: "It has a strong aura to it. Almost all the different kinds of aura are present."
  459. Etna Tracey: "If it's anything like the aura I absorbed, or the stuff Mars and you messed with with the first flower, it might work to evolve you."
  460. Actinidia: Actinidia smiled, "Interesting... perhaps I should save it to achieve my FINAL FORM!"
  461. Actinidia: "Or have Mars eat it now and see if he gets hands."
  462. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...wait, what?"
  463. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Why am I the test dummy again?"
  464. Etna Tracey: "We'll see. You've already done enough that you're probably close to evolving. I don't know whether or not it'd work from one evolution to the next."
  465. Etna Tracey: "Mars, in the games, Rare Candy exists to make you stronger. Makes a pokemon level up."
  466. Actinidia: "If this evolves us, your final form is bipedal, if I remember the pictures right."
  467. Etna Tracey: "If it's anything like that, you'll get a boost. And if I get taken out again, I want someone to watch out for these two. They're too nice."
  468. Grace Leonhardt: Nodding her head. "Yeah, Agron is the third if I remember correctly. A big hulking fella. Godzuki style and stuff!"
  469. Pierce Mars Oswell: "That was...I vaguely remember seeing a picture of something bipedal. Like an upright triceratops or something."
  470. Actinidia: "Yep."
  471. Actinidia: "Well.. no rush now. Etna and Grace have their final evolutions. I have two left, you have one Mars."
  472. Grace Leonhardt: She'll nod her head. "Yeah, so no need to worry about me with it."
  473. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...But aren't you due one any minute now, Act? In that case... Hm. We have to think it over."
  474. Pierce Mars Oswell: "And that means that Eviolite won't help one of us anymore either."
  475. Actinidia: "I don't know if I am or not. You three evolved because of the environment."
  476. Etna Tracey: "Hold up."
  477. Etna Tracey: "Grace. You have a mega form."
  478. Etna Tracey: ""I'm pretty sure you can access it."
  479. Etna Tracey: "I don't know how, but you'll be able to."
  480. Etna Tracey: "Mega form is an extra evolution. Both Grace and Mars have the potential to go for them."
  481. Grace Leonhardt: "Wait what? I uh... I donno about that. Mega evolution required a mega stone and stuff...?"
  482. Actinidia: "So, back to older conversations. Thanks to Slen's shop, I think it will be best if we have a public square, and build an additional wall round it. That way we can satisfy being both a welcoming community and keep our security up. Rouge said our berries were Lum berries, and that he's seen others. We might be able to trade Lum berries to Slen for others, and get more variety. And wonderful news! He said they grow in a matter of days."
  483. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Mega what? How is that different from a normal transformation?"
  484. Actinidia: "I don't know, mega evolution was after my time."
  485. Etna Tracey: "It's something that came out in the sixth set of games, as a sort of gimmick. In the games, you could mega evolve temporarily at the start of fights."
  486. Etna Tracey: "More power, with occasional new abilities and/or type changes."
  487. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Temporarily?"
  488. Etna Tracey: "Temporarily."
  489. Etna Tracey: "I don't know if it'll be temporary here. In the games it was done with a bond between trainer and pokemon, but... I don't know. I'm just very sure it can be done."
  490. Etna Tracey: "So Grace's growing isn't done yet."
  491. Grace Leonhardt: "Yeah, it was kinda a... ringger thing. Lucario was kinda the first one you mega evolve in the game, but a lot of classic starters. I think you get one too prince, but I donno about anyone else here."
  492. Etna Tracey: "I'm the only one who has capped out."
  493. DNA: Prince?
  494. Etna Tracey: "... Oh. fuck."
  495. Grace Leonhardt: Sorry! Pierce! Mars brain fart.
  496. Etna Tracey: "Right. Slen the shopkeep's already mega evolved, and has no trainer. The pidgeot the kid had was mega evolved too, without having to transform in front of us."
  497. Etna Tracey: "So we know that it's achievable without a trainer, and it can be sustained indefinitely."
  498. Pierce Mars Oswell: "And has he reverted yet? I don't think I've seen Slen swap back once."
  499. Etna Tracey: "Basically, it is just another evolution now as far as we know."
  500. Etna Tracey: "So. You two can pursue that. Act doesn't have one, and I don't have one."
  501. Actinidia: "This world doesn't quite follow all the game rules."
  502. Etna Tracey: "We could try anyway, and see if the games were holding out, though."
  503. Actinidia: Actinidia rubbed her chin. "Hm hm... I have a fiendish idea. What if we make the PC system! That way we can hack in and release our friends."
  504. Etna Tracey: "Do you have a degree in computer electronics?"
  505. Grace Leonhardt: "I... huh... I didn't think of it like that... I'm just kinda worried. I remember seeing some scary stuff from the show about a lucario loosing their mind because it's supposed to be intense and stuff. The games kinda support the fact it's intense too. Though.. Slen's kinda taking it in stride just fine..."
  506. Actinidia: "That kid didn't either. But I don't knwo what's up with him."
  507. Etna Tracey: "Fact remains we need to increase our defenses and defensive options if trainers are a thing now."
  508. Etna Tracey: "If I have to, I'll stay at the base to make sure it gets done while you three get things done in the city."
  509. Actinidia: "Yes. In the long run, having Dragonite is going to greatly help our air security too."
  510. Etna Tracey: "Not just evolving. Building and planning, organizing."
  511. Etna Tracey: "Like I said, we were supposed to already have plans for patrols by now. We should've known the kid was coming long before he got here."
  512. Actinidia: "Are you doing okay Etna? I've been wanting to talk with you, things keep happening."
  513. Etna Tracey: "I'm not going to be okay until the people we owe safety and security are safe and secure."
  514. Etna Tracey: "We are their leaders. That is our JOB.."
  515. Actinidia: "Do you agree with my plan for a public square, with a bigger gate that leads to our private grounds? That way we could have other buildings aside from Slen. Like our pokemon center idea."
  516. Etna Tracey: "Do what you want. You've only listened to what I said when it's convenient to you so far to begin with."
  517. * Pierce Mars Oswell bit his lip quietly.
  518. Actinidia: "What?" Actinidia said in surprise.
  519. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will be caught a touch off guard as well.
  520. Etna Tracey: "None of you backed me up when we had an intruder in our home. Again, it's our JOB to make sure this place is safe. That means being able to control and enforce RULES."
  521. Etna Tracey: "So you can make the decisions now."
  522. Actinidia: "We didn't have rules, that was the problem." Actinidia sighed, "We had no way to define him as an intruder or a guest, you saw him one way, I saw him the other."
  523. Etna Tracey: "A guest does not assume the run of the place."
  524. Actinidia: Actinidia folded her arms and thought. "... I agree he overstepped his boundaries. I err'd on the side of making a new ally rather than risking another enemy, and I did this without regard. I admit this. And I was lucky enough to have everything work out my way this time. I'm very sorry either way."
  525. Etna Tracey: Etna scoffs, and lays back down.
  526. Etna Tracey: "Be it on your head what happens to our people, when you overreach again."
  527. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will fiddle with her scarf nervously. "I'm... sorry too. I just didn't expect things to go from 0-100-0 as it did..."
  528. * Pierce Mars Oswell just looks down at the locket on his neck.
  529. Actinidia: Actinidia sat down nex to Etna. "I know your friends are more important to you than anything. But you're also the one who invited me to the pokemon forums, you're the one who introduced me to Mars and Grace, who invited me to this convention. You bring people together Etna. I'm worried you're losing that part of you."
  530. Etna Tracey: Etna paused... and sighed. "Before bringing people together, you HAVE to make sure the people you already have are alright. I can't compromise on that."
  531. Etna Tracey: "I can't. That's our role. If we're going to 'seek' and 'guard' hope, then we have to be willing to fight for it. To fight, we have to be able and willing to recognize potential threats."
  532. Etna Tracey: "There's nothing that's more important to me in this world than you all and the ones who follow at our back. Nobody, human or pokemon, child or adult, is exempt from being a potential threat.."
  533. Etna Tracey: "I'm willing to make allies and friends, but first I have to PROTECT my allies and friends."
  534. Avara: ((done))
  535. Actinidia: Actinidia hugged Etna's leg.
  536. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will scoot on over, wipe away a spot to sit down against the wall, and the big blue friend."... You're absolutly right Etna. We've probably been a bit too welcoming all things considered. We probably should be a bit more weary. We shouldn't be hostile, but weary is probably good considering how things went today. We just kinda got super lucky Rogue was willing to listen instead of kidnapping you away..."
  537. Actinidia: "Which means now, more than ever, communication is important. You had a bad day, he had a bad day. We had no one to greet him, to let him know what was up. He had no way to request coming inside. All of these things are important. All the things you said are important. I want to make a situation that has the best chance for everyone. We are the seekers of hope... I want to dare to hope for the best in others."
  538. Etna Tracey: "... Like I said, you two are too nice."
  539. Etna Tracey: "I don't want you to lose that. But we need to have shields up. So I'm letting you make decisions, and I'm going to be raising defenses while you're not."
  540. Actinidia: "I want an honest answer. Are you okay with that?"
  541. Etna Tracey: "I'm not okay with anything less than everyone we care about being safe. But it's clear that, as much as I need to fulfill my duty, you need to reach out for others despite the risk. So I'm doing my job while you do yours."
  542. Etna Tracey: "No outsider is allowed near the aura flower, though. That is not compromisable."
  543. Actinidia: "Not at all, no. That is our life. Our food."
  544. Grace Leonhardt: Putting her head against the wall, "Yeah... I should start training with the others." She'll poke at her chest spike poking through the unbutton'd part of the jacket. "They should probably learn how to deal with someone that can deal with their posion. So I'll work on training folks into fighting shape? And uh, yeah no one near that flower."
  545. Etna Tracey: "I have some thinking to do. About whether or not I should stay here and man defenses while you three get things done outside."
  546. Etna Tracey: "Hjadvir's mentioned not being confident in being able to handle things while we're all gone."
  547. Actinidia: "Are you sure..? I thought about offering the same, overseeing things for a while. But... my healing is indispensable."
  548. Etna Tracey: "I have a way to call on you all if we need the cavalry, I think."
  549. Actinidia: "Oh?"
  550. Etna Tracey: Etna spends 4 PP and... Act can see the party, from a third-person perspective focused on Etna, like a video-game. Meaning Act can also see Act.
  551. Etna Tracey: Etna Tracey loses 4 power.
  552. Actinidia: Actinidia raises and lowers her arm. ".... spooky. That works."
  553. Etna Tracey: Etna cancels it. "Feel free to describe it. I don't actually know everything about what I just did."
  554. Actinidia: "I saw all of us in third person. At the same time I could see what I saw."
  555. Etna Tracey: (( skype ))
  556. Grace Leonhardt: "Whaaa? How...?" she'll say tilting her head. "From where?"
  557. Actinidia: "It was focused on you, like a video game camera on an RTS."
  558. Etna Tracey: "So I can do something like that to one of you, if I need help. It feels... limited, a little, but I should be able to use it for things like that."
  559. Etna Tracey: "I'm not sure if I'll follow through on this plan or not, like I said. I have to think about it."
  560. Actinidia: "Limited? You can have color coded flags, drop one on the floor and trigger that. We'll know what the flag means."
  561. Actinidia: "I want you to stay healthy Etna. That goes for all of you." Actinidia gave Mars a glance.
  562. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Wait, you mean to say you can create an image of a 3rd-person minimap in real life now?"
  563. Etna Tracey: "I can give others a view of myself and an area around me."
  564. Actinidia: "And if any of you need a rest for any reason, please say so. I know I'm handling a lot of this a lot better than most... I'm not a good judge."
  565. Etna Tracey: "It's a trick I worked out after trying to get a better grasp of aura. I can -see- aura, I can identify it, and I can lend my sight to others, without the ability to see aura."
  566. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will hold up her hands. "I'm doing alright. So yeah, I'm holding up good so far..." She'll mumble out suprisingly to herself.
  567. Actinidia: "I don't think you know how to lie Grace, so I'll hold you to that."
  568. Grace Leonhardt: She'll raise an eyebrow to that. "I... huh? Thanks...?"
  569. Actinidia: Actinidia laughed.
  570. Actinidia: ((think we're winding down?))
  571. Narrator: It's usual game end time so I'm not surprised!
  572. Narrator: I can bring it to a close with a short song.
  573. MER: "Our time's running out. I'll own nothing now. Sound the alarm."
  574. MER: "The rain's falling down. Let's keep going now. We'll face the storm."
  575. MER: "There's no time left for us to start again. The world we're on will lead us to the end. The rain will wash away the innocence."
  576. MER: "And we'll be gone as it ends.
  577. As it ends."
  578. MER: "Start a revolution!"
  579. MER: "W're breathing fire. Unleash desire. We won't back down!"
  580. MER: "We are the election. Drown in emotion. But not alone!"
  581. MER: "Start a revolution!
  582. Start a revolution!
  583. But not alone..."
