DS2 Scholar early DLC2 route

Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin All Bosses DLC Melee Rapier/Lightning Red Iron Twinblade route (I like to call it “The Lightning Strike”)
Changes to the last route: early DLC2 (Fume and Smelter), skip the last level up, saves 3 warps and having to level up so about 40-50 seconds faster

- Start Explorer/Healing Wares
- Kill Maughlin with witching urns
- Pickup Soul next to Blacksmith
- Talk to Emerald Herald and then run away
- Light the bonfire in Majula, then head towards Cardinal Tower
- Light the Cardinal Tower Bonfire
- Buy Axe & Firebomb
- Drop attack on the salamander
- Get the DLC 2 key and die

- Blow up the poorly made wall and run towards Last Giant
# Last Giant (Axe, Ooze)

- Dark Sign quickly
- Pop 800 souls while talking to Melentia, get Blacksmith key, 2 BB, 1 Firebomb
- Talk and get the ring, then send Melentia to Majula
# Pursuer (Ballista)

- Pop the Pursuer soul
- Get the Dull Ember (chest)
- Destroy the wall with the barrel (use firebomb is not lucky)
- Sit at bonfire to remove aggro
- Give Dull Ember to McDuff and buy 6x Large Titanite
- Open blacksmith door, level up to 8 INT, 12 DEX
- Rest at bonfire then to pick up the bow by the blacksmith
- Buy Rapier, Mace, 7 shards & 21 Arrows, Rapier+6, Mace+1
# Dragon + Ornstein (Rapier, Ooze)

# Dragonrider (Gravity)

- Pick up the Dark Pine Resine
- Shoot the bell and use the strat you want for No Man’s Wharf
- Talk to Carhillion, buy staff and Yearn
# Flexile Sentry (Rapier, Ooze)

- Homeward Bone back to the bonfire
- Level up to 14 VGR, 18 END, 8 FTH
- Buy Cat Ring, skulls and bones from Shalqoir
- Drop and take the bonfire
- Kill the lizard
- Pickup the branch in black gulch
- Light the first bonfire in black gulch

# Giants (Rapier, DPR, Brightbug)
- Bone back and warp to Majula (if no Forlorn invasion, if so go kill Rotten and bone back)
- Get DLC 1 key in pit and bone back then warp to Gulch
- Go to talk to Grandahl if no Forlorn
# Rotten (Rapier, Ooze)

- Run through the 1st DLC, light the second bonfire.
- Grab the 20k soul with the Dragon Charms
- Grab Flynns Ring, get Forgotten Key, grab secret bonfire, warp to Majula
- Buy 3 Brightbugs, ~30 gems, 3 Herbs
- Buy Chime, Homeward, Force, Unlock the path
- Pick up Rouge Water
- Get Dark Weapon from Felkin
- Light the Bridge Approach bonfire for later use (Chariot)
# Skeleton Lords (Mace)

- Buy Soul Appease, Talk to Chloanne enough to send her back to Majula, apply DPR while talking
- Grab the 2 chunks in the pool
- Pickup the torch
- Do the fancy OOB skip or pull the lever if you're bad
# Covetous (Rapier, DPR)

- Take the bonfire and warp to Lost Bastille
- Upgrade Rapier +7, infuse Dark
- Warp to Majula
- Level up to 13 ATT, 16 INT, 19 FTH
- Buy 3x BB
- Grab Fork Ruins bonfire, attune Dark Weapon and Soul Appease
- Grab the Chloranthy ring +1

# Royal Rat Authority (Rapier, DW, Soul Appease)

# Congregation (Rapier/DW/Soul Appease)

- Get Chunk on ledge
- Get 3x Chunks + Slab in spikes
# Freja (Rapier, DW)

- Kill Duke and get the branch
- Warp to Lost Bastille
- Upgrade Rapier+10
# Sentinels (Rapier, DW)

- Light the Servants Quarters Bonfire
- Get 2x Herb on Belfry Luna roof if you can
# Gargoyles (Rapier, Gold Pine Resin)

- Homeward Bone back
# Sinner (Rapier, Gold Pine Resin)

- Warp to Majula
- Level up to 30 VIG, 25 END, 16 ATT, 19 INT
- Buy 3 Brightbugs
- Warp to the tomb
# Mini Rats (Rapier, Soul Appease, Skull)

- Bone back
- Attune Homeward and Yearn, warp to Earthen Speak
# Mytha (Rapier, DW, Radiant Lifegem)

- Do the fancy jump before Smelter
# Smelter (Rapier, DW)

- Grab the Flame Butterflies in the chest after Smelter
# Old Iron King (Rapier, DW)

- Run through the 2nd DLC with cancer jumps
- Light the second DLC bonfire
(- Get +3 Magic Resistance ring for safe Amana)
- Light the third DLC bonfire
- Get the Scorching Iron Scepter and Homeward
- Go get the Key and go for Fume Knight
- Use Rouge Water + Repair powder on elevators
# Fume Knight (Rapier, DW, Brightbug)

- Homeward to elevator bonfire
# Blue Smelter (Rapier, DW, Brightbug)

- Bone back to the elevator bonfire, warp to Fork Road
- Pop your souls while waiting for the big door to open
- Grab the King's Gate Bonfire
- Talk to Gandalf, Homeward back to bonfire
- Pick up Mushroom in pool for RITB pickup
# Dragonriders (Rapier, DW)

- Light the Central Castle Drangleic
- Get the Key and Homeward back
# Mirror Knight (Rapier, DW)

- Use BB before the pickup while big mushroom dies
- Pickup Red Iron Twinblade in Shrine of Armana (try to not die)
# Froggy Frog (Rapier, DW)

- Buy ring of thorns and all the shrooms from Agadayne
- Light the Undead Ditch in Undead Crypt
- Pull the lever to open up the shortcut for Vendrick later
# Velstadt (Rapier, DW)

- Grab the King's Ring and then Homeward back
- Warp to Majula
- Buy 6 shards, 6 large shards, 6 chunks, 2 Bolt Gems & Soul Appease from Chloanne
- Level up 36 VIG, 16 ADP, 13 STR, 20 DEX
- Warp to McDuff
- Upgrade Red Iron Twinblade to 10+, infuse to Lightning
- Warp to Fork Road bonfire
- Grab RTSR

- Talk to Aldia
# Ancient Dragon (Red Iron Twinblade, DW, Brightbug, RTSR)

- Homeward and go to DLC3

(use an herb waiting for Ivory dude or glitch attune before)

- Pickup the 2 brightbugs before Horsefuck Valley
# Double Kitties (Rapier, Brightbug, DW)

- Warp to DLC 1
- Get Dragon Stone and Homeward back
- RTSR setup on fall
# Elana (Red Iron Twinblade, DW, RTSR, Brightbug)
# Sinh (Red Iron Twinblade, DW)

- Homeward back to bonfire then warp to the other DLC1 bonfire
- Pickup the 2 Brightbugs before Gank Squad
# Gank Squad (Red Iron Twinblade, Sunlight Blade, Brightbug)

- Bone back, warp to Chariot
# Chariot (Rapier, DW, Yearn)

- Homeward back to bonfire, warp to Cardinal tower
# Giant Lord (Rapier, DW)

- Don't forget to pickup the Soul of a Giant, then homeward bone back, warp to Alonne
# Sir Alonne (Rapier, DW, Brightbug)

- Homeward back to bonfire, warp to Vendrick
# Vendrick (Rapier, Sunlight Blade, Brightbug) (With 3 giant souls)

- Homeward back to bonfire, attune Force, warp to Shaded Woods
- Survive the 1st Dungeon (Rapier, Red Iron Twinblade, DW, Force)
- Warp to Gulch
- Survive the 2nd Dungeon (Use Brightbug, Red Iron Twinblade, DW)
- Homeward and Warp to Drangleic
- Survive the 3rd Dungeon (Use Red Iron Twinblade, DW, Force)
# Darklurker (Red Iron Twinblade, Sunlight Blade, Brightbug)

- Homeward back to bonfire
# Watcher & Defender (Red Iron Twinblade, Brightbug, DW)
