MG PSA - Amazon

In a diner during a cold Californian morning, a single weary man waits for his assistant. Reading the news about the latest drudge of misery his realism is trying to maintain a somewhat hopeful look.

"Mr. Nemo, you wanted to see me?"
"Of course Sally. Sit down and have some waffles. Now Sally, you've been a good friend to me for a while now, and I don't want to offend you."
"What do you mean?"
"The men upstairs want me to make an announcement, for Amazons. As you know, cases of spousal abuse are sadly very common for them."
"Mr. Nemo, are you implying that because I'm an Amazon, I would be offended?"
"Yeah. I'll be honest here. It's not something I like to talk about, much less to a colleague."
"Mr. Nemo, it's okay. I didn't work my way to here by being thin-skinned."
"Still, it's your own spec-"
"If a man commits a crime, do you feel sorry for him? Just because he's a man?"
"No of course not."
"Then there's no problem from me. Let's finish our waffles, maybe we won't be late, Mr. Nemo."

Of all MG's to integrate into modern society, Amazons have the worst of circumstances. Like Krampus they have a desire to control their spouses, physically is most preferred. And like Krampus many stay within their ancestral due to social ostracization. However that being said, these actions in this day and age is simply abuse, pure and simple.

In this society where both men and MG's try to compromise most Amazons are hard set in their beliefs of dominance. Men travelling alone often have to be trained in urban warfare, adorning shotguns and combat knives like ties for work. Others have to be expertly trained in parkour, weaving through the suburbs like wind in attempts to come out unscathed.

But those who have it worst, are the ones who feel that they can't run away or fight back. The Amazons' loving spouses who are continuously abused verbally and more often than not beaten severely for the most minor of transgressions. According to the National Society of Abuse Victims more than 40% of all acts of abuse can be traced to husbands with Amazon wives.

To all those out there who have been hurt or know someone trapped in a life of fear, there is help. You do not have to live this way. You are not at fault, you are not the cause of her problems. You deserve a safe happy life. If you have children they to deserve to be safe and happy. The abusers do not change and if they do it's slowly, often reverting back to hurting their loved ones. When calling or messaging use a public pay phone and detect her red flags. Remeber safe areas of the house. If they try to control you, or force you into a decision, you are not alone. They are many abuse shelters and financial shelters able to assist you with a home, education, day care, counciling, a new identidy and a job. You are able to file a restraining order to provide protection and bodygaurds if she persists. She does not see you as a person, rather an object and will do anything, even harm your children to get you. You do not have to comply. You do not have to take this alone. They are people out there who can help you, protect you. There is a way out and most importantly a new life.
