  1. I did choose what time my classes were at. Depends on how your school is set up. My school has tiers of requirements that ALL students must meet (basic math and english/junior composition class), as well as things that are more so pertaining to your major. My school has 6 requirements for a liberal arts degree which are a social science, a humanity, a fine arts, a biological science, a natural/applied science, and a cross-cultural perspective class. After you get done with everything else I mentioned above, it should be based off of your major and minor what else you have to take (my degree doesn't require a foreign language, while many other degrees do). Last semester I had class start at 1pm on m/w/f and 7:30am on t/th. Now my classes start at 8:35 m/w/f and 9 on t/th. Last semester, I was done by 4:30, but i had some gaps in between classes. This semester I'm done by 2 everyday. It's really up to what you prefer. I had two classes that I had to schedule around since they're only offered once per semester and that was a pain. Some classes will have prerequisites, so watch out for that. Your advisor SHOULD help you with that, but don't rely on them. Mine last semester was shit and didn't help me at all, and I was fortunate enough to know what classes I needed to take and such, so it didn't affect me too badly. I have 3 classes on Monday, two on w/f. 3 on t/th. I have a moderate amount of free time. I fortunately don't have a huge time commitment with homework this semester, but it'll likely catch me next fall, since I'm an RA, and I got a position on this committee that's so much work. Uh I think I covered them all
