  1. Topic Title: “Freedom is within your grasp!”
  2.
  3. [Brigand] (Font size 36, bright-red)
  4.
  5.
  6.
  7.
  8. “Freedom.” Patches said.
  9.
  10. “Freedom is what all brought us here.
  11. Freedom is what -allowed- us to BE here.
  12. Who are we as people, under the restrictions of society; to dictate our actions.
  13. Who, is to judge others; based simply on what -they- think.
  14. We all are people, from different cultures and back grounds.
  15. But the one thing we all share together… is our freedom.”
  16.
  17. Patches rose his arm, to rally the men and women in his camp as they decided to enjoy them selves how ever they wished. Drinking, Eating, Partying, and letting the occasional bellowing fart out.
  18.
  19.
  20.
  21. Has your character ever sought the chance to experience his life to the fullest? To feel true adrenaline coursing through their bodies, to truly experience what being close to death is. Adventure, danger, with a sweet reward at the end if you can triumph over all.
  22.
  23. Freedom comes at a price though, obedience. Those who wish to experience the life of freedom will have to serve under Samuel, better known as ‘Patches’. He is the one who brought all of us together, it’s best we pay him back in favors.
  24.
  25. _______________________________________
  26.
  27. Patches was born in Westfall during the Second War, most of the land being effected by the First and Second war drastically. Causing the land to almost be forgotten. Leading it to become a barren land of abandoned farms, towns, and the occasional wild life that dwelled there.
  28.
  29. Patches had been born in an area near Moonbrook, due to the Horde claiming Westfall as their territory; he and his family laid low. When the Alliance had reclaimed Westfall after the second war, Moonbrook had been all but left in ruins. Patches and his family took residence there, with the others that lived on the outskirts; attempting to help rebuild what was lost.
  30.
  31. After the issue between the House of Nobles and the Stonemasons Guild, the infamous leader Edwin had formed the bones of the Defias Brotherhood. After some time had passed, Edwin has rallied many people under his cause; planning the destruction and downfall of Stormwind due to the fact he felt wrong.
  32.
  33. Edwin and his brother hood ventured into Westfall, eventually finding ‘The Deadmines’. Here, he planned to construct his laboratory and officially create what is the ‘Defias Brotherhood’.
  34.
  35. Patches, realizing that the Defias were not friendly and ruled with fear; would soon come to found out he’d defy the defiers. He and some other young men and women of Moonbrook would band up to fight against the Defias tooth-and-nail. After many skirmishes with the band, Patches decided that Westfall would no longer be his home as this infestation was to much for him and his own band to handle.
  36.
  37. They set out into Elwynn, heading past Goldshire and going to Northshire. There, they headed into the foothills and mountains where they’d soon be between Elwynn Forest and the Burning Steppes. There, they began to claim their own land and building a camp. They named this area ‘The Black Spine’ due to the jagged peaks and color of the nearby mountains.
  38.
  39. The men and women of Patches band settled within this region due to many of the natural resources which resided nearby. They had access to spring water, herbs of various types, plentiful amount of lumber, ore veins in close by caves and caverns, and the lands were hidden away by mountain paths making it quite nice for evasion of others. Some times it is possible for those to stumble upon our small village of 'Aclamar' which poses as a simple town in the woods; but little do the common-people know that the camps lie close by over looking the village.
  40.
  41. Patches also realized that after travelling back and fourth constantly with a small group of scouts, one could hit certain caravan and trade routes along the roads between Elwynn and Redridge. Some times even venturing east of his camp to attack bands of heroes or even mercenaries attempting to enter into the Burning Steppes; making his position quite strategic.
  42.
  43. This, is how the 'Brigand' came to be.
  44.
