I'm taking my first programming class this year of Highschool, and we started with HTML and then CSS. Those made so much sense to me and it made sense really fast.

Now we are starting Java script and I just don't understand it. The thing about HTML and CSS is that I understood what everything did. It all made sense. With JS, I don't know why I need to do what it says, I don't understand what that input will make the game/page do. Any place where I can get better help? We're learning through Codecademy and we're starting our first project which is a random number generator game.
