Quick & dirty report of Day-1 of "Sakura Gakuin 5th anniversary concert ～for you～"

Yes, it was fantastic. It was superb. I have nothing to add, but try to inform you of something more.

★I found 7 cameras in the venue. Maybe they're just for Live-viewing, but maybe they're for.....I'm looking forward to watch the DVD/BD thing...

★The announcement of attention before the show was made by Sara. She spoke a bit too fast, but very clearly.

★Just on time (6:00pm), familiar 'The last BGM before the show'--"Kiss Me Again" feat.Alex Gaskarth (We Are The In Crowd) was played and soon...

01 Chime

Into the dark stage, Shadows of 12 girls appeared and the intro of one of the regular opening songs -- Chime --rang! We instantly went hyper and the show started! But, in the song, Megu made a terrible mistake in dancing and she was almost crying.

The song end and the next song....no! Rinon said 'Well, the rehearsal is over. Let's smile our best tomorrow in the 5th anniversary concert!'.

Yes, The song and the Megu's mistake was an introduction to a skit! I was totally fooled. The skit described an unfriendly attitude of Megu toward Aiko (because she accused herself for her inability in dancing), Sara's clumsy kindness, KYG's boisterous consideration, Marin's telepathic ability, Mori-sensei's bantering, Sizuku-chan(aka Ooga Saki)'s joke, and Rinon's leadership. Of course Megu and Saki made up, and the next song -- very best song for this situation began with Rinon's shout "Let's start the 5th anniversary concert!"

02 FRIENDS

Megu was full of smile. I was full of smiles & tears. She is an actress!

Self introduction of each girl. Saki said the skit just played was a re-make of a skit in 2011nendo -- in which a discord between Nene and Moa was described.

03 Sleep Wonder

04 Planet Episode 008

Soon after the song began, music stopped. It was a true trouble. Girls got surprised and disturbed....but Rinon calmed them down and started MC lines with sangfroid. Soon the trouble of public address was settled, and the intro of the song re started.

05 "Let's dance" dance performance

The song is a revival from Suu's days (2012nendo December concert)

A heavy beat sounded and each girl appeared on the stage with a chair in her hands. They put chairs to make a line and sat on them. AT first, they performed with their arms, and then with feet, Soon they stood up, and began dancing, sometimes on the chairs, sometimes making a posing. Just awesome.

VTR: Sakura Gakuin History in these 5 years

It showed several footages -- The 1st meeting with transfer-ins, The first recording of a song, shooting of a MV, TIF and other festivals, solo-concerts -- for each year. Each footage was too short and I coldn't write down all. And it was moving.

06 Medley of Verishuvii, Hana*Hana, FLY AWAY, Otomegokoro, Wonderful Journey, Heart no Hoshi

It made a blast. Super fun! Of course they didn't play 'Raura line'.

The live-video of a live-viewing place was shown on the screen. And the audience at the movie theater was making a big noise!

07 Kirameki no Kakera

I didn't expecte this at all! When Rinon introduced 'The next song is our new song in this year!', I though 'hmm...Mathematica?'.

It has elaborate and fun choreo. The tempo and feeling is somewhat resembles to 'School days'. Anyways, just look forward to hearing it!

08 Jump up

Ah...I have several 'must-cry' Sakura songs, and Jump up is one of them. Too beautiful. The music, lyrics, expressions of girls, choreos -- along with MV scenes in my mind-- made me cry.

09Kimini Todoke

One thing which called my attention. Some girls were wearing too small uniforms! Especially Megu. Her sleeves of jacket just reached her elbow when she raised her hand. Marin, Aiko, C-chan and Rinon also were wearing small jackets. AMUSE, please buy them new jackets!

VTR: Video message from NHMR

Nene was, and still is a Talk chairperson. The message was mainly lead by Nene. And Nene was turning into a beautiful lady! She said she is studying a lot, aiming to make a happy report of her entrance exam to nurse's college.

And the jingle of koubaibu rang, and C-chan and Soyo appeared on the stage. Usual sales-talk was introduced, and

EN-1 Piece de Check

At the latter half of the song, other 10 girls also appeared and danced with 2 of Koubaibu.

About 'Let's Dance'. Only Rinon and Saki knew the song, and Raura instructed current girls of the song.

EN-2 Marshmallow irono kimito

Another 'must cry' song....emotional bomb exploded.

EN-3 School days

The very last song was, as expected, another 'too much feel....'.

OK, I was crying in 60% of the show, and was staring Megu in 80% of the show. So, I think this report carries only 10% of the awesomeness of the show. If you are afford to, please take a plane-ride and come to Japan.

And the show will come tonight again...
