06[02:55] * Jake_Juice brushes up against The_Batmare as he trots over to the bar. He pays the bartender "Anything these girls order are on me fer the night." he grabs a bottle of whiskey and pops the cap off, pouring a drink for himself and The_Batmare, pushing the glass towards her.
06[03:02] * The_Batmare looks at the drink and takes a sip. She makes a bit of a face, "It's... okay. I find your jake juice of a higher quality."
06[03:07] * Jake_Juice smiles and pushes the glass away and takes out one of his bottles and sets it on the counter. "My my, ah do so love it when a mare compliments my creation. S'one of the only things ah think I'll be remembered for when I die." he chuckles and pours her a glass of Jake_Juice.
06[03:10] * The_Batmare blushes a little and takes the glass, "I have never been much of a drinker... I hav found your stuff to be fairly tasty though. Perhaps it is to do with the healing side effects."
06[03:14] * Jake_Juice shrugs "Ah guess that' could be it. Although, to be honest even ah'm not exactly sure how the healin' part of it works... seems to have actually gotten stronger as of late. May be just cause' I'm startin' to heal again like ah used to... it has been awhile, so it'd make sense." he pours himself a glass and takes a drink of it.
06[03:17] * The_Batmare sips the drinks and looks over, "Wait, you do not even know how the healing effect works? I was curious as to how that happened, and it was going to be my next inquiry."
06[03:23] * Jake_Juice looks over The_Batmare and smiles "An' there ain' nothin' wrong with not drinkin'. Ah hated it too at first, but... it eventually... became a hobby." he shrugs "Well... ah dunno. One day I was.. experimentin' ah guess and then.. bam, Jake_Juice was created. Didn't find out about the healin' part til a few weeks after I'd made it. And, just so you know, it can't really heal wounds... it just kinda... rejuvinates yer body in a way. That's why ah carry bandages on me in case I'm ever without healing potions, but have my drink on me. Drink can help stabilize yah, bandagesis to stop the bleedin'."

06[03:28] * The_Batmare listens closely and nods looking at her half finished glass, "That is interesting. I must ask if it has anything to do with your cutiemark. I have noticed it apepars to resemble a bottle of alcohol."
06[03:30] * Jake_Juice looks back at his flank then chuckles "Uh... yeah, actually... it's uh... makin' this was how ah got it." he pours The_Batmare more as her glass starts to empty, doing the same for himself before taking antoher drink.
06[03:32] * The_Batmare takes the drink and smiles, "Well, if one must have a special talent making ponies happy and rejuvenating them seems to be a suffcient one." mhmm. the drink tasted even better than before for some reason.
06[03:37] * Jake_Juice smirks "Well.. yah, ah can't argue with that logic love." he chuckles. "Guess it'd make sense seeing as how ah'm more of a lov-, er healer than a fighter." he takes another drink. "So, what's yer special talent hun'?" his eyes scroll down to her flanks momentarily as he thinks about what hers possibly could be.
06[03:39] * The_Batmare pre-emptively blushes as she expected the lover line. "Uh. My, er, special talent." She puts down her now empty glass, "I guess that is just another mystery of the batmare. If I told you now, it would cease to be a mystery."
06[03:43] * Jake_Juice shakes his head smirking "Ah think ah might be able tah pry yer little secrets from yah one by one." he shrugs "Besides, mysterys are meant to be solved, aren't they?" he takes another drink, then smiles at The_Batmare, with a curious raised eyebrow.
06[03:45] * The_Batmare actually lets out a short giggle before ctaching herself and looking down at the glass. "Well, that may be true, but I cannot simply give you the answers right away. Why that would defeat the whole purpose of the exercise." She has a light blush underneath her mask.
06[03:49] * Jake_Juice idely runs his hoof around the top of his glass in a circle. "Oh, ah wouldn't dream on yah just outright tellin' me." he smirks. "That'd ruin half the fun an mosta the excitement." he also mentally dawws at her giggle, glad that he had the ability to get this unseen side of The_Batmare out.

Has somethin' to do with justice, of tha' I'm sure." he chuckles "An' yeah... times like those... those ponies din't know how good they had it. How's the sayin' go? Yah dunno what yah got til it's gone. Pretty true if yah ask me. The world may be corrupt now, but it wasn't always, an' it can be pure again." he smiles down at The_Batmare and reaches down and noses her neck with his muzzle "Yah know, my shoulders ah lot more comfortable than the bar top love."

She lifts her head up and rests it on Jake_Juice's shoulder anyway, "But you spoke with such conviction, how could I turn it down." he sighs. "I know it can better, I believe it in my heart. I just wish more ponies would believe as I do. It is hard sometimes, when so many around care only for themselves. It's hard not to get caught

And ah believe like yah do, for the most part ah think... and ah know what that feels like too. Carin' for no one but yerself is no way to live. Neva has been an' never will be. An' it's the least ah could do for you doin' everything for... everyone else. Me included." He stares at The_Batmare and smiles warmly at her. Through his slightly drunken haze he slowly realizes that this is the closest he's ever been to a mare outside his family. Not close as in physical proximity, but more mentally and emotionally. "Yah've been a good friend too for the record... an' ah always like havin' yah around." he gives her a light squeeze and continues to hold her. "An' it ain't jus' cause yah're pretty to look at." he chuckles slightly.
