  1. The Laguz are a race from the Tellius Series, people who can shift from human-like forms into animal forms. When in human form, they still have certain animal-like physical traits, such as tails, wings, ears, and colored stripes on their faces. Laguz are known in legend as the "Children of Strength," as they possess a greater deal of physical might compared to the Beorc. Laguz are also capable of living for far longer than beorc.
  2.
  3. There are several different tribes of laguz, classified into 3 main groups: beasts, birds, and dragons. Laguz consider it dishonorable to fight with their natural weapons while not in animal form. They are proud races, and the conflict between them and beorc runs deep. However, while some laguz dislike the beorcothers are naturally friendly and unprejudiced towards their counterparts. Some beorc are kind to these laguz while others are very harsh. Many beorc and laguz wish to live with the other species in peace, but they are in the minority.

  11. Weapons:
  12.
  13. Bearing natural armaments, such as claws, fangs, and talons; the Laguz do not have weapons or weapon proficiencies in the traditional sense. Rather; they have weapons that upgrade on each level as stated on their respective pages.
  14.
  15. Personal Faults and Personal Skills:
  16.
  17. The Laguz Start with both a Personal Fault and two Personal Skills when beginning the game. Once they reach Level 20, they may take another Personal Skill.
  18.
  19. Transformation Gauges:
  20.
  21. For each numerical value below, the first positive value is how much the gauge increases in human form, while the second negative value is how much the gauge decreases in animal form.
  22.
  23. Cats: +10/-5 per turn, +14/-4 per round of combat
  24. Tigers: +8/-4 per turn, +12/-3 per round of combat
  25. Wolves: +6/-4 per turn, +10/-3 per round of combat
  26. Lions: +5/-3 per turn, +10/-2 per round of combat
  27. Ravens: +6/-4 per turn, +12/-3 per round of combat
  28. Hawks: +8/-4 per turn, +14/-3 per round of combat
  29. Herons: +4/-5 per turn, +10/-6 per round of combat
  30.
  31. The Transformation Gauge starts at 0/30. When the transformation gauge is filled, the character is allowed to Transform during their turn. Transforming is a free action that does not end their turn, nor does it prevent that character from moving and attacking if they transform that turn.
  32.
  33. However, if an Allied Named Laguz character's HP reaches zero, their Transformation Gauge freezes, and they are rendered unable to take any action. Upon revival, their Transformation Gauge is reduced by half. If they were transformed, they are remain transformed upon revival and their TG will not naturally decay upon the completion of that turn.
  34.
  35. Satori Signs are used to give PC Characters abilities.
  36.
  37. Olivi Grass can be used to add 15 to the transformation gauge upon usage.
