    Welcome to #Azure!  We're a channel for discussing, staging, and sometimes designing tabletop / pen-and-paper roleplaying games, chattering about videogames and pop-culture, and occasionally discussing politics, science, math, psychology, literature, kinkery and sex, and music.
    We're pretty friendly, but some things you should know about us before hanging out here: we're all adults, and while #Azure is explicitly not a channel for sex, cybering, ERP, sexting, or whatever you want to call it when you describe having sex with someone via words on a screen, we -strongly- prefer anyone entering the channel to be eighteen years old or more.  People frequently post things that are not safe for work, and talk about subjects that some "concerned parents" would probably object to.
    Since we don't really care about those "concerned parents", we won't especially care if you're under eighteen and act mature, and we won't really care if you get in trouble for coming here.  If you're not old enough or mature enough to use your discretion, go somewhere else.
    Most of us are women, whether transgendered or cisgendered (means "not transgendered, someone who's fine with their genitalia as-is"), so please, we're sick to death of "no girls on the internet".  It's not even -true-, much less funny.  If you can't deal with a roomful of queers, transsexuals, people of different ethnicities and cultures, and people with differing ideas from your own, stay the fuck out.
    So here's the actual channel rules:
    # Adhere to Aniverse's rules first.  We don't get to be a channel without them, so they make the rules.
    # We're not a filesharing channel.
    # We're an English language channel.  While other languages aren't forbidden, only a few people at most will understand you if you start speaking Spanish, or Japanese, or something.
    # We're not a sex channel, if you want to have sex with someone, take it in private.  -Talking about- sex is one thing.  "I shove my hand down ur pants" is another, take it elsewhere.
    # Don't abuse the bots.  We have several dicebots, of which 'newbot' is the simplest to use with the least features, and Wraith is the more complex, with -lots- of features well beyond dice-rolling.  Send Wraith a private message consisting of ",roll help" or ",cards help" to learn more about that.  You can borrow Wraith if you ask politely~
    # The Single Most Important Thing is, treat everyone in the channel with respect.  If you know what you're about to say or do will piss someone off, don't.  If anyone asks you to stop doing something, stop.  Don't insult, harass, or mistreat anyone in the channel.
    # Also, your friendly non-gendered channel owner would -greatly- appreciate it if you use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singular_they the "singular they" to refer to them.
