  2.
  3. A Selector only WIXOSS Party
  4.
  5. >Let's begin the battles
  6.
  7. How did you like episode 11 of the anime?
  8. Iona started the Selector only battle tournament under the guise of a "Fan Gathering".
  9. Ruuko decided to participate.
  10. The Wixoss Parties held at regular shops are quite peaceful and nice, so we invite you to participate!
  11.
  12. Now it's time to analyze Ruuko's battles.
  13.
  14. >VS Girl with Red deck
  15.
  16. >"Gothic Boundary!"
  17.
  18. The first battle in the tournament was against a girl with a red deck.
  19. Ruuko completely overpowered and defeated her opponent.
  20. The Art that decided the battle was this one, Gothic Boundary.
  21.
  22. >Cost 1W 2C
  23. >Main Phase
  24. >Return one opposing SIGNI to opponent's hand
  25.
  26. It's an Art that can return one SIGNI to your opponent's hand.
  27. It only costs one white and two colorless cards, so if you put it in a non-white deck you may surprise your enemies.
  28.
  29. Her opponent had no Life Cloth left at the time, so with one final attack Ruuko won the battle.
  30. Ruuko and Tama continued to win, and eventually came up against Hitoe.
  31.
  32. >VS Hitoe
  33.
  34. >"So it came to this."
  35.
  36. A battle against Hitoe using Yuzuki.
  37. We will now explain while showing you shots of the battle.
  38.
  39. >"Bounce Suberia, and attack!"
  40.
  41. In this scene, we see Ruuko's third turn after she had gone first.
  42. She returned two Suberia cards to her hand by using Rococo Boundary.
  43. In card games, this is called "bouncing".
  44.
  45. Ruuko has already mastered card game terminology.
  46. There's not a trace of the rookie she was in episode one.
  47.
  48. At the end of this turn, the board looked like this.
  49.
  50. Rococo Boundary returned two Suberia to Hitoe's hand.
  51. She also had one "Silk Plant Hasu".
  52.
  53. >C: If there is at least one more <Plant> SIGNI on the field, this SIGNI's power becomes 8000.
  54. >~Hey, let me eat some too.~
  55.
  56. Because the Suberia went away, Hasu's power fell to 5000.
  57. That's when Ruuko played "Midshield Square" from her hand in front of it, and then banished Hasu.
  58. She then crashed one Life Cloth with "Treasure Tool Mikagami", leaving Hitoe with only 3 left.
  59. She then ended her turn.
  60.
  61. >"Yuzuki, grow. Banish Mikagami!"
  62.
  63. >Yuzuki 3, limit 7
  64. >A (Cost 1R): Banish one opposing SIGNI of 5000 or less power
  65. >A (Cost 1G): Until the end of this turn, all of your SIGNI get +5000 power.
  66. >That emotion might yet reach
  67.
  68. >"Severing Steamroll."
  69.
  70. She then used the spell Severing Steamroll to crash one of Ruuko's Life Cloth.
  71. Hitoe has completely changed her style to be a more offensive fighter.
  72. She may be a bit hesitant, but she continues the attack.
  73.
  74. >"Yuzuki, attack. Banish Square."
  75.
  76. Hitoe entered her attack phase.
  77. At the end of her turn, this is what the board layout was like.
  78.
  79. Here I will introduce the card that banished Midshield Square, "Silk Plant Mizuaoi".
  80.
  81. >C: If there is at least one other <Plant> SIGNI in play, this SIGNI's power becomes 12000.
  82. >A large, large flower on the path.
  83.
  84. Mizuaoi's power becomes 12000 if you have at least one other <Plant> SIGNI in play, so it easily banished Square.
  85. She's also cute.
  86.
  87. And so Ruuko had only a single Life Cloth left at the end of episode 11.
  88. Hitoe appears to still have her memories of Ruuko and Yuzuki, but is it possible to return to how the three of them once were?
  89. And how will Ruuko and Hitoe's battle end?!
  90.
  91. All that and more will be revealed in episode 12 next week!
  92. We'll be sure to explain everything next week as well, so look forward to it!
