- 1. You must be in a Captain's Mode game
- 2. You must be on Dire team
- 3. Ban and pick normally, making sure that you pick the hero you with to duplicate
- 4. When the draft is finished, have light brown/gray pick the hero to duplicate
- 5. Type **dota_cm_claim_hero_test** in the cosole
- 6. Repeat this in the order:
- -> light brown/gray picks hero you want to duplicate; type "dota_cm_claim_hero_test" in console
- -> light blue picks hero you want to duplicate; type "dota_cm_claim_hero_test" in console
- -> dark green picks hero you want to duplicate; type "dota_cm_claim_hero_test" in console
- -> dark brown picks hero you want to duplicate; type "dota_cm_claim_hero_test" in console
- -> pinkpicks hero you want to duplicate; DO NOT type "dota_cm_claim_hero_test" in console
- 7. Nature's profit
- This works because when you type this command in console, it reassigns a drafted hero even though you already picked a hero. You can then select that hero again and again because the server thinks that you reassigned the original hero chosen, but instead you are still keeping the hero you initially selected. This effectively lets you duplicate a hero multiple times.
