  1. The Philippines has the highest rate of teenage pregnancies among the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Pregnant teenagers are aged between 17years old to 19years old. Department of health has proposed that they will give condoms to high school students who are 18 years old and above to avoid Health diseases and ever increasing teen pregnancy which contributes to Philippine Poverty. To avoid this issues, High school students who are 18years old and above needs to be given condoms since students are not responsible enough to take care of the consequences once they impregnate someone.

  3. It is better safe than sorry, as the current situation of the Philippines, the increasing rate of the pregnancies among the teenager has been a major problem in the Philippines. According to the 2014 Young Adult Fertility and Sexuality study, "around 14 percent of Filipino girls aged 15 to 19 are either pregnant for the first time or are already mothers, more than twice the rate recorded in 2002". If there is a way to prevent such irresponsible things to happen, better have it prevented, even if it is not 100% effective, at least some students will be saved and Condoms is a cheap method for the government to greatly help these students. Most of the students who are involved in sexual activity came from a poor household.

  5. One of the major causes of Overpopulating in the Philippines is the teenager pregnancies. since abortion is not allowed in the Philippines, once a student impregnate someone, it is too late. When a teenager gets pregnant while at attending high school, what happens next is that they will dropout from it and will no longer continue higher education. Since teengaers does not have any financial backing, the child's future is already in peril. When the infant grows up, it is almost certain that they will be working on the streets of manila and be one of those childrens who are begging for money while at the stop lights. These students are just not "aware" of the responsibilities once they do have sex. Condoms is one of the best methods that will gradually help the Philippines for the betterment of the future generation.

  7. Philippines is in poverty, only the people who are in poor households will know how bad the situation the philippines is in. however these people who lives in a poor households are the ones that're actually contributing to the high rate of teenage pregnancy. There is no sex education therefore these high school students does not really know the consequences of being a parent. Poverty has been terrible in the philippines and teenagers are just adding to the rate of poverty in the Philippines. Teenagers does not have financial backing or any work related while at school and if a teenage girl gets pregnant, most likely that their future family will be in poverty and with just a little hope of prospering.
  8.
  9. We can only lessen the rate of the teenagers getting pregnant but we can never totally avoid it. lessening the rate of teenage pregnancy means that there will be less families in the future that are in poverty and less population in major cities. the Department of health is only concerned for the future of these high school students and it will always be for the betterment of the Philippines. High school students who are 18years old and above needs these condoms since they do not know the consequences once they impregnate someone.
