1. >Stretching in your chair, you feel your back pop a couple times.
2. >What a day it's been.
3. >Now that you're finished with your days work, you get up and head to the kitchen.
4. >After making yourself a small meal, you sit on your couch so you can eat.
5. >Right when you're about to take a bite, there comes a knock at your door.
6. "Always when I'm eating." you groan as you stand up.
7. >Upon reaching your door, you open it and are greeted by
8. >...
9. >Nothing.
10. >That's weird.
11. >"Hi Anon!"
12. >Looking down you see the owner of the voice.
13. "Oh, hi Sugar Plum. What's up?"
14. >The violet pony is smiling up at you, bushy blue mane covering her left eye.
15. >"Well, I was about to make a cake, but I realised that we were out of eggs. Do you have any I could borrow?"
16. "Sure."
17. >You both head to the kitchen.
18. "So, is Heather still sick?" you ask while getting what she needed.
19. >"Yeah. Poor girl. She's been sick all week. But she's getting better."
20. "That sucks. How many eggs do you need?"
21. >"Just two, please. Anyway, she said she's feeling better and should be up on her feet by tomorrow, so I wanted to have this made before she does."
22. >Pulling the desired amount out, you place them in a small paper bag.
23. "Well that's sweet of you. I'm sure she'll love it."
24. >You both start heading back to the door.
25. "I'm glad to hear that. Give her my best, will you?"
26. >"I will."
27. >You hand her the bag and she grabs it in her teeth.
28. >"Tankfs, Anohn."
29. >She turns and starts heading to her house across the street.
30. >She really is a good kid.
31. >Heading inside, you sit back down and start on your meal.
32. >As you're eating, your thoughts dwell on Sugar Plum.
33. >It's been about four years since that bioengineering company figured out how to make real ponies.
34. >And just like all the other horsefuckers, you were excited beyond measure.
35. >Unfortunately, you were lacking in funds.
36. >It's alright though, a year into it, your neighbor received one as a gift from her parents.
37. >Cutest damn thing you've ever seen.
38. >Once she was fully grown, she had become the neighborhood favorite.
39. >Everybody loves the girl.
40. >Including you.
41. >She's become like a sister to you.
42. >She spends just about as much time at your house as she does her own.
43. >Finished with your meal, you take the plate and drop it off in the sink.
44. >...
45. >Dishes can wait until tomorrow.
46. >You go to your bedroom and start getting ready for bed.
47. >Stripping down to your boxers, you lay down in bed, hoping sleep will take you fast tonight.
48. >Your thoughts keep dwelling on the ponies.
49. >You really wish you could get one.
50. >Your eyelids start to feel heavy.
51. >Having a pony would be pretty cool.
52. >To bad you'll never get one.
53. >Sleep finally takes you, as visions of Sugar Plum danced in your head.
54.
55. ~~~
56.
57. >Your front door slowly opens in front of you.
58. >Doing your best walker impression, you shuffle into the house.
59. >Never has work taken this much of a toll on you.
60. >You reach your couch and fall face first onto it.
61. >A moan escapes your lips as your body finally has a chance to rest.
62. >You wish Sugar Plum was here.
63. >Her and Heather would always be willing to help you relax.
64. >That full body massage they both gave you was the best massage you've ever had.
No lewd occurred.
65. >Your recollection is interrupted by a knock on your door.
66. "Ugh... Maybe it's Sugar."
67. >You force yourself from the couch and head to the door.
68. >Upon opening it, you're surprised to see not Sugar Plum, but a UPS driver.
69. "Um, yes?"
70. >"I have a package for an..."
71. >He looks at his scanner.
72. >"Anonymous? Is this a joke?"
73. "Nope. That's my name."
74. >He gives you a skeptical look.
75. >"Okay? Anyway, I need you to sign for it."
76. >It's then that you notice a large box behind him, still strapped to his dolly.
77. "That's a big box."
78. >You're currently digging in your head to try to remember if you ordered anything.
79. >After signing, he brings the box inside.
80. >He drops it off and takes his leave.
81. >And for the next fifteen minutes, you stare at the box.
82. >The shipping label is made out to you, but you can't read who the shipper is.
83. >That part got worn out during shipment.
84. >As you sit there, staring at the box, a knock comes from your door again.
85. >"Anon?"
86. >That's Heather.
87. "It's open!"
88. >Your door opens and in walks Heather with Sugar Plum right behind her.
89. >"Plum said she saw a delivery truck outside your house earlier. Watchya get?"
90. "This" you say as you gesture towards the box.
91. >Sugar Plum walks up to it and sniffs it.
92. >"What's in it?" she says after she pulls her head back.
93. "That's the thing. I don't remember ordering anything big. So I'm not sure if I should open it."
94. >Sugar looks back towards the box.
95. >"It seems strange that you'd just get a box out of nowhere."
96. >She starts poking it with her hoof.
97. >"Anon." Heather says quietly.
98. >Neither Sugar Plum or you hear her.
99. "Don't poke it. We don't know what it is."
100. >She pulls her hoof away. "Sorry Anon."
101. >You pinch the bridge of your nose.
102. >"Anon."
103. "Yeah Heather?"
104. >"Open it."
105. >You look up at Heather and see her looking at the box.
106. "What?"
107. >"Open it. I think it'll be safe."
108. "How can you be sure?"
109. >She looks towards you and smiles.
110. >"Trust me."
111. >You look back at the box.
112. "... Fine. I'll open it."
113. >You get up from the couch and kneel next to the box.
114. >Heather moves to stand behind you and Sugar Plum on your right.
115. >Grabbing your keys, you slice the tape open.
116. >Once you open the flaps, you're greeted with...
117. >A big white box.
118. >It has a strange sheen to it, like it was just polished minutes ago.
119. >"Just like I thought." you hear Heather say.
120. "What is it?"
121. >Heather moves to your left side.
122. >"Don't play coy, Anon. When did you order one?"
123. "Order what?"
124. >She looks you straight in the eye.
125. >"You really don't know what this is?"
126. "No, I don't."
127. >She looks back at the white box.
128. >"Oh. We better hurry then. C'mon, let's get this out."
129. >She goes to grab the box.
130. >You help her take it out.
131. >After it's out, you both place it back down.
132. >You notice a seam going around the top.
133. >Two small latches hold it closed.
134. >"Alright, now just open it. Plum and I will be right over here."
135. >They both walk behind the box, Sugar Plum looking confused between the both of you.
136. >Slightly worried, you look over at Heather and are calmed a little by her warm smile.
137. >You reach out and undo both latches.
138. >The box beeps when you do so.
139. >Looking at Heather, you see her gesture for you to hurry.
140. >As you place your hands on the lid, the box makes a small whirring noise.
141. >It's starting to give off a comforting warmth.
142. >Starting to pull on the lid, a small hiss escapes as the seal is broken.
143. >Once the lid is off, you see that the inside has very soft padding.
144. >You lean forward to look inside and that's when you see it.
145. >It's a pony.
146. >A small unicorn filly.
147. >She has a grey coat and a bluish grey mane and tail.
148. >A small dark blue streak goes down the right side of her mane and down the middle of her tail.
149. >As you're looking down at her in awe, she begins to stir.
150. >After a couple seconds of twitching around, she opens her eyes.
151. >She looks around the box in confusion at first, then looks up at you.
152. >That's when she makes eye contact with you.
153. >You're instantly lost in her emerald eyes.
154. >After what feels like hours, she starts to stand.
155. >A little wobbly at first, but she gets her bearings.
156. >She sits back on her haunches and continues to stare up at you.
157. >Heather then makes her presence known again by quietly clearing her throat.
158. >"Try to pick her up. But be gentle. Put your hands in there, but let her be the one to move into them."
159. >You do as she says, and wait for the filly to move into them.
160. >She looks at your hands in confusion before moving a little closer to sniff at them.
161. >After a few seconds, she must get what you intend to do and moves into your hands.
162. >You pick her up right under her front legs.
163. >She looks back into your eyes.
164. >Slowly, you start to stand up.
165. >"Now cradle her, like you would hold a baby."
166. >After some repositioning, you have her cradled in you arms.
167. >She has yet to break eye contact.
168. >You feel yourself starting to smile.
169. >After a couple minutes, she starts to look uneasy.
170. >"She might be hungry. Check to see if she is."
171. "How?"
172. >"Put your finger up to her mouth. If she tries to suckle, then she is."
173. >You look down at the pony in your arms and bring your finger to her mouth.
174. >She see's you moving closer to her and lunges forward, latching on to your finger.
175. >You wince in pain at the combined feeling of her teeth biting down and the strong suction she puts on your appendage.
176. >Looking back at Heather, you see she is digging thru some smaller boxes that were under the white one.
177. >She comes back up, holding a small tube in her hands.
178. >"Here, give her this." she says as she pulls a cap off the tip, exposing a nipple used for feeding.
179. >You have to force your finger out of her mouth, but when you do, she starts to whimper.
180. >Taking the tube from Heather, you give it to the filly.
181. >She latches on and starts to feed.
182. >As she eats, Sugar Plum walks up to you.
183. >"Oh, she's so beautiful."
184. >The filly keeps looking right at you as she eats.
185. >"I think we're going to go for now." Heather says.
186. >"Aww, do we have too?"
187. >"Yes. Anon has to have time by himself to imprint on her. We'll come back in another hour."
188. >She looks at you and the filly and smiles.
189. >"If you need me before then, don't hesitate to call, okay?"
190. "Alright."
191. >"Come on, Sugar Plum."
192. >Heather walks to your door.
193. >"See you in a little bit, Anon."
194. "Bye Sugar Plum."
195. >They both leave and now you're alone with this filly in your arms.
196. >A little pony.
197. >Here with you.
198. >Looking at you.
199. "Hi little one. I'm Anon. And this is your new home."
200. >She cocks her head to the side when you speak to her.
201. >This brings another smile to your face.
202. >And why wouldn't you smile?
203. >You finally have your own little pony.
204.
205. ~~~
206.
207. >Two hours have passed since you received your pony.
208. >You and Heather are currently sitting at the dining room table, looking over the paperwork that came with your pony.
209. >Sugar Plum is playing with the filly, both of them laughing as they play.
210. "This makes it sound so complicated."
211. >"It's not, really. I mean, it does seem intimidating at first, but it's actually pretty easy once you get used to it."
212. >You pick up the tube of the growth accelerant and look it over.
213. "Did you use this on Sugar?"
214. >"No. She is a first wave pony, and I had heard that they had had problems with this stuff on them."
215. >When the ponies first came out, they only had earth ponies.
216. >Those were the first wave.
217. >Two years later, the second wave came out.
218. >They had managed to get pegasi working right.
219. >They figured out how to make the magic in them work, so they could manipulate weather and stand on clouds.
220. >That still weirds you out.
221. >Then a year later, the third wave hit.
222. >Unicorns.
223. >Everyone was amazed at the magical abilities they had.
224. >They really have helped with a lot of things since they've been here.
225. >Suddenly, you hear a scream come from the living room.
226. >You look up just in time to see Sugar Plum run down your hallway.
227. >Chasing her was the filly.
228. >They both disappear into one of your rooms.
229. >When Sugar Plum ran past you, you noticed something.
230. >There is one thing all three waves of ponies have in common.
231. >Not a single one has a cutie mark.
232. >That's the one thing they couldn't replicate from the show.
233. >All the ponies know about the show, and from what you've read online, they don't seem to be bothered by that fact.
234. >Another scream comes from your hallway before you see the filly running back.
235. >Sugar in hot pursuit.
236. >She catches the filly and rolls her on to her back.
237. >"Gotcha! Now you're mine!"
238. >She then proceeds to mercilessly attack her stomach with raspberries.
239. >The filly can do nothing but laugh at the onslaught.
240. >You chuckle at the ponies before Heather gets your attention.
241. >"Have you figured out a name yet?"
242. "No, not yet. I figured I'd give it a while before I named her."
243. >"Oh alright."
244. "How'd you come up with Sugar Plum?"
245. >She looks over at the wrestling ponies.
246. >"Ever since I was a little girl, I always wanted the stereotypical 'pony' for Christmas."
247. >She looks back at you.
248. >"I knew I would always name it Sugar Plum, so when my parents got me her, I instantly named her that."
249. >Just as you are about to say something, the filly breaks away from Sugar and charges towards you.
250. >"Aaaaaaaaahhhh!"
251. >She jumps and lands on your lap before scurrying up onto your head.
252. >Hoofs do not feel good when they are running up your face.
253. >Once she is settled, she looks down at Sugar Plum and smiles triumphantly.
254. >"I see how it is, little one. Running to your human for protection? Such a sign of weakness!"
255. >Sugar Plum stands on her hind legs, her right hoof pointed to your head.
256. >"Come down and face me like a real pony! Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha Haa!"
257. >The filly jumps from your head, tackling an unsuspecting Sugar to the floor.
258. >She uses this as an opportunity to attack.
259. >"NONONO! NOT THERE PLEAAAAHHHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
260. >You laugh as Sugar gets beaten at her own game.
261. >After another hour of playing, Heather decides to head home for the night.
262. >"Now remember anon, what I said stands. Call if you need me, okay?"
263. "Yes mother."
264. >She just rolls her eyes before opening your door.
265. >"Smartass. Alright Plum, we have to go."
266. >You look over at Sugar Plum.
267. >She is currently curled up on your couch, the filly nestled into her chest, fast asleep.
268. >"Do I have to? Can't I stay here for the night?"
269. >"That's up to Anon." Heather says while gesturing to you.
270. "I don't mind."
271. >Sugar Plum squees in excitement until the filly starts to stir.
272. >"Oh sorry, sweetie."
273. >The filly calms back down before scooting closer to Sugar.
274. >Soon after, Heather heads to her house and you're alone with the ponies.
275. >You sit and chat with Sugar for a good while until your stomach reminds you to eat dinner.
276. "Guess it's time for dinner. You hungry, Sugar?"
277. >"Yes please, if it's not to much trouble."
278. >You reheat some leftover pizza for the both of you.
279. >"Oh, Pepperoni! My favorite!"
280. >While you were warming it up, she shifted on the couch so that she could sit up.
281. >The filly has rolled onto her back, legs spread eagle as she sleeps.
282. >A small line of drool running out of her open mouth.
283. "That's flattering."
284. >Sugar giggles at the display.
285. >"She really is adorable."
286. "Yeah."
287. >After the pizza is heated, you give Sugar and yourself two slices each.
288. >"Thanks Anon."
289. >She digs into her first slice before you even sit down.
290. >"Mmmmm."
291. >She happily chews on her slice, eyes closed as she savors the pizza.
292. "You know, it's not the best pizza in the world."
293. >She swallows before smiling at you.
294. >"Yeah, but it's still pizza." she says before taking another bite.
295. "I'm still surprised that you guys will eat meat. Isn't it weird for you?"
296. >>She puts her hoof to her chin like she is thinking before swallowing the next bite.
297. >"Not really. It really depends on which individual pony you ask. I mean, yeah, I like meat, but the next pony could only eat fish, or veggies."
298. >You take a bite of one of your slices while she talks.
299. >"Hell, there are some ponies out there that are even bigger carnivores than me. I guess that just comes from the human culture. It's not viewed as a taboo by you guys, so some of us decided it shouldn't be for us, either. Why?"
300. >You finish your bite before speaking.
301. "Just curious, is all. I've never asked a pony on the matter, so I thought this was a good opportunity."
302. >"Oh okay, cool. Hey, can I have some water please?"
303. "Yeah, sure."
304. >You get up and get some water for the both of you.
305. >After that, you both talk for a bit more as you finish up your dinner.
306. >Once you're done, you decide it's time for bed.
307. >You get a extra pillow and blanket and set the couch up as a bed for them.
308. >After saying goodnight, you head to bed yourself.
309. >Today turned out to be an awesome day.
310. >Hopefully tomorrow is just as good.
311.
312. ~~~
313.
314. >Something stirs you from your sleep.
315. >Opening your eyes, you see that there is a faint light coming in the window.
316. >Must be pretty early.
317. >As you start to sit up to see what woke you up, you feel a weight on your stomach.
318. >Looking down, you see a lump under your blanket.
319. >It's wiggling.
320. >Pulling up the blankets, you're greeted by the filly, looking straight into your eyes.
321. "Um... morning?"
322. >She let's out a cute little "squee" before running up your front and nuzzling your nose with her muzzle.
323. >Before you have a chance to react, she jumps off of you and your bed and runs to your doorway.
324. >She stops and turns towards you, trotting in place.
325. >Figuring she wants something, you start getting up out of bed.
326. >As you do, she starts getting more excited, letting out a cute giggle as she does.
327. >You now sit on the edge of your bed.
328. >Looking at her, you get an idea.
329. "You want me to get up?"
330. >Her giggling speeds up.
331. "Hmmm... NOPE!"
332. >You fall back on the bed and start feigning sleep.
333. >She let's out a surprised gasp before she runs towards you.
334. >You feel her climb up your bed before jumping up on your chest.
335. >Opening your eyes, you're greeted by the filly's glare.
336. "Hi."
337. >"Aaah!" she yells while stomping one hoof on you.
338. >She glares down at you again.
339. "I don't wanna get up."
340. >You close your eyes again, letting out an over exaggerated snore.
341. >She growls before stomping her hoof again.
342. >"Aaah!"
343. >You start chuckling at her attempts.
344. >She starts stomping faster, each one accompanied by another yell from her.
345. >After a couple seconds of this, she stops and looks back down at you.
346. >"Aaauupp!"
347. >You open your eyes in surprise and see she has the same expression.
348. "Did you...?"
349. >Before you can finish, she smiles at her new found ability.
350. >"Uuup!"
351. >She starts jumping on your chest.
352. >"Up!"
353. "Ow. Ow. Ow. Stop jumping."
354. >"Up! Up! Up! Up! Up!"
355. >You grab her and lift her up off of you.
356. "Alright, I'll get up."
357. >You place her on the bed next to you and she takes off towards the door again.
358. >You get up and follow her out the room.
359. >Upon arriving in the living room, you see Sugar is fast asleep on the couch.
360. >Looking for the filly, you see her sitting at the kitchen table.
361. >She is currently nudging one of her tubes of food.
362. >Ah, breakfast.
363. >After clearing some of the stuff from last night, you take the tube from her.
364. "Do you want to eat from the tube? Or do you want this in a bowl?"
365. >She cocks her head at you.
366. >Damn, that's adorable.
367. >You go to your cupboards and take out a cereal bowl.
368. "Do you want this from the tube?" you hold the tube up. "Or from a bowl?" you raise the bowl up.
369. >She looks deep in thought as she looks at them.
370. >"B... boowl."
371. "... Okay then."
372. >You open the tube and pour the applesauce like substance into the bowl, all of it barely fitting in it.
373. >After handing the bowl to her, you look at the stuff from the box.
374. >You see the audio CDs for her speech.
375. >You were so busy last night, you forgot her session with it last night.
376. >You decide to let her listen to it while she eats.
377. >After getting it set up and a little fight to get her to wear the headphones, you get started on making Sugar and yourself some breakfast.
378. >You decide on a simple dish of bacon and eggs.
379. >A few minutes into cooking, you feel something rub up against your legs.
380. >Looking down you see Sugar rubbing against your leg like a cat.
381. "Good morning."
382. >"Mmmm...'mornin."
383. >You reach down and scratch her behind the ears.
384. >"Ooooh... that's the spot."
385. >She's starts leaning really hard into your hand.
386. "Did you sleep well?"
387. >"Yeeeaaah."
388. >You pull your hand away, almost causing her to fall to the floor.
389. >"Aww, you stopped."
390. >She stands on her back legs to see what you're making.
391. >"Want me to get some plates?"
392. "If you don't mind, thank you."
393. >While she does that, you finish cooking.
394. >As you're turning off the stove, you feel a nudge on your leg.
395. >You look down and see Sugar pointing at the filly with a smile.
396. >The filly is sitting there listening to the CD with food all over her muzzle.
397. >You chuckle at her mess.
398. "Hey, do those speech CDs actually help teach you how to speak?"
399. >"Yeah, I don't know how, but from what I remember they help a lot."
400. >Right as she says that, the filly takes the headphones off.
401. >"All done!"
402. "... I guess it does help."
403. >"Clearly." says Sugar, a surprised expression on her face.
404. >As you and Sugar eat, the filly goes off to the living room and starts playing in the cryo-box she came in.
405. >It's actually pretty cute.
406. >After you finish eating, Sugar decides to head home.
407. >Which leaves you sitting on the couch, watching the filly play in her box.
408. >She occasionally pops her head up and looks at you, before diving back in.
409. >This goes on for about another hour.
410. >You keep yourself busy by watching the filly and occasionally going on your phone.
411. >After a while, you notice she has gone silent.
412. >Getting up, you walk over to the box and look inside.
413. >Looks like she fell asleep.
414. >Probably a combination of waking up so early and playing this whole time.
415. >You decide to let her have her nap.
416. >After she wakes up, maybe you'll take her out to see the town.
