2. Original Rules and Guidelines - http://www.xp-waste.com/dgs-rules-and-guidelines-t30.html
3.
4. Goals of rewrite
5. ================
6. - Remove dated information (20-60 minute floors, "survivor floors" etc)
7. - Provide information for both newer and advanced dgers - currently the Rules/Guidelines seem to be targetted at people coming from public worlds, but a large portion of new members are already familiar with the DG meta and the R/GL's should apply to them as well.
8. - Condense and/or better organize wordy information (especially in the mission statement, ranks, and binds sections)

11. Mission Statement
12. =================
13.
14. In contrast to most other Dungeoneering communities, DGS aims to help each of our members improve their Dungeoneering ability as opposed to solely playing for xp. Note that this does not mean members are expected to disregard experience gains in pursuit of floor times - just that gaining xp should not be your only focus here.
15.
16. Because improvement is our primary goal, new members should expect to recieve constructive feedback and criticism from more experienced members. This is especially true for people coming from public worlds or "relaxed" clans. After most floors, players will discuss what aspects of the floor could have been executed better in order to avoid similar mistakes in the future. These discussions are vital to improvement, and you should feel comfortable asking questions about the floor.
17.
18.
19.
20. Skill Requirements
21. ==================
22.
23. DGS members are required to have the following minimum skill levels (using prayers if 70+ prayer; curses if 95+ prayer):
24.
25. Defense: 45
26. Magic: 64
27. Prayer: 70
28.
29. Level 80 or above in two or more of the following options:
30.
31. -Ranged
32. -Magic
33. -Attack + Strength
34.
35. The medium Daemonheim tasks are a requirement to dg in the clan. The full requirements for the medium tasks can be found here
36.
37. Bind and Ring Requirements
38. ==========================
39.
40. Bind 1: Highest tier shortbow available.
41. Bind 2: Defensive bind. There are two acceptable defensive binds; highest tier range body available and the shadow silk hood.
42. Bind 3: Secondary weapon. Generally staff is preferred however if your melee stats allow you to wield a weapon 20 or more levels higher than your magic, the highest two-handed melee weapon available is best.
43. Bind 4: Blood necklace > 2nd defensive bind.
44. Bind 5: 2nd defensive bind.
45. Ammo: Highest tier arrows available.
46. Potion: Strong artisan, gatherer, naturalist, or survival.
47.
48. DGS members and applicants are required to have their kinship rings setup as follows (those who choose magic as their secondary attack style upgrade the blitzer ring, while melee users upgrade the berserker ring):
49.
50. Desperado ring: Sniper ring: Blitzer ring:
51. 66: Tier 6 66: Tier 6 67: Tier 6
52. 70: Tier 7 73: Tier 7 75: Tier 7
53. 79: Tier 8 83: Tier 8 86: Tier 8
54. 89: Tier 9 93: Tier 9 96: Tier 9
55. 102: Tier 10 106: Tier 10 110: Tier 10
56.
57. For people with Elite Tasks completed:
58. Your primary should be sniper. Your quickswitch should be blitzer, and your secondary should be desperado in order to always have it active, as it is the most important ring.
59.
60. For people without Elite Tasks completed:
61. Your primary ring should be desperado. Your quickswitch should be blitzer, and your secondary should be sniper. The reasoning behind this is secondary rings don't receive their full affect until elite diaries are complete.
62.
63. Rules
64. =====
65.
66. - We will not tolerate malicious flaming, trolling, spamming, DDoSing, or cursing, including racial and homophobic slurs.
67.
68. - No luring or scamming of any kind.
69.
70. - Players must have an accepted application to do floors with DGS. You may not advertise for floors in the CC if you have a non-DGS player or a banned player on the team.
71.
72. - Ranks go out of their way to help you. If you do not follow their instructions or our guidelines, you will be banned from the clan chat and be given no second chances. Consider this a very strict policy.
73.
74. - Leech floors are not permitted in DGS.
75.
76. - You are not allowed to kick players from teams or quit floors.
77.
78. - If you have a complaint about DGS or another player, contact an admin, reviewer, or moderator via pm or Skype - do not post about it on the forums or in the CC.
79.
80. - Leave administrative matters to admins and reviewers. This includes dealing with guests, rules, applications, etc.
81.
82. - Do not change your name to be similar to someone else's in the clan. For example, if your name is 0bat you are not allowed to change your name to Obataurian.
