Stained-ivory bead bracelet
Twin strips of leather have been cut thin and braided together in a band long enough to tie around a feminine wrist; a deep earthy brown tone has been dyed into the leather, giving it a contrast against the adornments placed upon it. At one end, the leather is knotted several times to create a stopper for the beads as well as a clasp for the bracelet to hold onto the wearer, with the opposite end of the leather rope looping over the knot. Two dozen carved ivory beads have been threaded onto the rope with enough room left to allow the beads to slide back and forth as the wearer moves their wrist. Each rounded bauble has been carved in a slightly larger and more meticulous sphere than the previous, the first appearing rather poorly done while the final is a perfectly rounded bead. Coating the surface of the ivory is a stain of varying shades of red, each bead growing a darker shade in succession until the largest bead is coated by a deep blood red tone.
