  1. >3 Hours had passed.
  2. >You lie back on a large root sticking out of the ground, its moss acting as a pillow.
  3. Hm...
  4. >You toss and turn for a more comfortable position.
  5. Where is she?
  6. >The jungle’s music was catchy.
  7. >The birds, the frogs-
  8. >Its everything...
  9. >Your foot begins to tap on a rock sticking out of the ground.
  10. *tap* *tap* *tap*
  11. >Chirp, Chirp, Chirp!
  12. >A few birds fly down.
  13. Hehe.
  14. >While tapping on the rock, you grab two branches and start hitting your surroundings, trying to find which made the best sound.
  15. >More and more birds gather, chirping left to right.
  16. >You sit up, and begin to hit different parts of the large root.
  17. >A beat was made.
  18. >You stop.
  19. >The birds follow.
  20. A one. A two. A skiddly-diddly-doo!
  21. >You set up a steady beat.
  22. >The birds begin to harmonize.
  23. >You laughed at how amusing tapping your foot was, and how the birds were chirping away.
  24.
  25. >You stop your tapping, and toss your other stick into the nearby bushes.
  26. >Using your remaining stick, you begin to conduct the birds.
  27. >These birds must have been trained somehow.
  28. >Up.
  29. >The birds begin to sing higher.
  30. >Down.
  31. >The birds pitch went deeper.
  32. >This always looked cool on stage, back home.
  33. >Being a conductor seemed neat.
  34. Haha! Once more!
  35. >Birds of all colors and shapes were there.
  36. >Then a beautiful bird, red with a rainbow on the tips of the feathers, comes swooping down.
  37. >”CROOOOK”
  38. >The other birds cover their “ears”
  39. >WOW that sounded bad...
  40. Um-
  41. >”Crooo... OOAAAAAAK!!!”
  42. >The bird smiles somehow with its beak, and gives a bow.
  43. >...
  44. >”Croooak, Ahuizotl is proud, CROOAAAK!”
  45. >The other birds quickly fly away.
  46. >...
  47.
  48. >”Find Miss Doo, Croaaaak!”
  49. >...
  50. Um...
  51. >The bird flies on top of your head.
  52. >”Find Miss Doo!”
  53. >You grab the bird and bring him in front of you.
  54. >He makes no struggle.
  55. Who?
  56. >”Top secret, Top secret, must not tell.”
  57. But you just-
  58. >”TOP SECRET, MUST NOT TELL!”
  59. >The birds eyes began to cross.
  60. >It kind of reminded you of a certain mail mare back home...
  61. So... Who is Miss Doo?
  62. >The bird tilts his head back.
  63. >”Who?”
  64. >You sigh.
  65. >Now he REALLY reminds you of her.
  66. You know, Miss-
  67. >”YOU! Report to Ahuizotl! YOU KNOW DOO!”
  68. What?
  69. >The bird begins to flap its wings furiously.
  70. >”REPORT TIME!”
  71. >He flies out of your grip and grabs your hand with his dull talons.
  72. >”REPORT! REPORT! REPORT!"
  73. >You follow the bird blindly into the forest.
  74.
  75. >Twilight’s POV
  76.
  77. >Today has been stressful...
  78. >Anonymous gone and all...
  79. >But that's in the past now.
  80. >You will find him...
  81. >Eventually...
  82. >Today, you are going over RainbowDash's house to...
  83. >Well...
  84. >“Help her” with the fanfiction...
  85. >Your face turns red.
  86. >For some strange reason...
  87. >You can't get enough of what Rainbowdash was writing about...
  88. >It was...
  89. >An excellent read.
  90. >Yes.
  91. >An excellent read.
  92. >A strange noise knocks you out of your daze.
  93. >The sound of pegasi returning from the day shift.
  94.
  95. >You take out a book that was on in your bag.
  96. >AERO spells.
  97. >You cast the 24 hour "Cloud Walker" spell.
  98. >Purple magic surrounded your hooves.
  99. >Using your magic, you place the book back into your bag.
  100. >Here we go.
  101. >RainbowDash's home.
  102. >You've always wanted to see what her REAL home looked like.
  103. >She usually sleeps in a cloud above Ponyville.
  104. >You take out the directions to her house.
  105. Hmmm...
  106. >Here we go.
  107. >You follow the street signs.
  108. >933, 934, 935, 936!
  109. >You put the directions page down.
  110. >Here it is.
  111. >Rainbow's home.
  112. >You felt exited and nervous at the same time.
  113. >Without a moment to spare, you give her front door a good 3 knocks.
  114. >A noise can be heard from the inside.
  115. >You can hear locks being turned.
  116. >The door slowly creeps open, a small gust of warm air passes you.
  117. >It was silent.
  118. RainbowDash?
  119.
  120. ---DaringDo's POV---
  121.
  122. >You were so close!
  123. >What kind of bird is this?!
  124. >Flying at THIS speed?!
  125. >You flap your wings faster, gaining a little more speed.
  126. >It began to move faster as well.
  127. >Buckin' Tartarus!
  128. >How are YOU going to catch up with this thing?!
  129. >Your adventurers hat was clearly seen in its talons.
  130. >The bird looked like some sort of toucan.
  131. >...
  132. >Anyway.
  133. >Keep calm, doo.
  134. >Keep calm.
  135. You can do this...
  136. >Your wings began to slow down.
  137. Control your breathing...
  138. >You began to pick up a little speed.
  139. And...
  140.
  141. >Things were moving at slowly.
  142. >Everything.
  143. >From the drops of water off of the vines.
  144. >To the wings of a butterfly, fluttering.
  145. Fly...
  146. >Before you knew it, you were zooming towards the bird.
  147. >With one clean swipe, you grab your hat.
  148. >Its unbelievable what you can do, when you put your mind to it.
  149. >Now... Where is that bird?
  150. >Better question... Where is that monkey with clothing?
  151.
  152. ---Anon's POV---
  153. >THIS BIRD.
  154. >"CROOOAAAK, FIND MISS DOO, KNOW MISS DOO, MISS DOO, MISS DOO!"
  155. HEY!
  156. >The bird comes to a stop, and grips your wrist.
  157. >It climbs up your arm quickly, and perches on your head.
  158. >"Doo...Doo... "
  159. >Did it...
  160. >Did it just fall asleep?!
  161. >You take the sleeping bird off of your head.
  162. >Out cold...
  163. Miss Doo, huh? I wonder...
  164. >You imagine the tan mare.
  165. Naw... Miss Doo sounds like dookie-poo. They definitely AREN'T the same.
  166. >You take a good look around you.
  167. >Jungle... Jungle everywhere.
  168. >You sit back against a near-bye tree, cradling the sleeping derp-bird.
  169. >"Doo... Doo... FIND!... Doo..."
  170. >Sure is strange to watch it sleep like this...
  171. >You smile as you watch it snore its thoughts away.
