Zion: What are you doing? Where is Andy?
Zion
The Rage symbol started glowing, and I'm slowly walking towards it. Andy is somewhere behind me.
Andy
Andy is just watching her.

Zion: The Rage symbol emits a small humming sound. Why are you here? Are you trying to find something?
Andy: How are you feeling right now? What are you doing here, in these tunnels?
Zion
We were exploring, and enjoying each other's company. We stumbled across the symbol by chance, I recognized it from the creepy sacrificial slab I almost died on.
Andy
Andy has a terrible headache and occasionally she either hears a loud humming or she gets ordered to do something by Horrorterrors. It tends to make the headache worse. She came to get her things from Zion and be with her friend.

Zion: You stand before the glowing symbol. It radiates a faint, purple light. Has it only been you two down here, exploring?
Zion
Only the two of us, luckily.
Prick McPrickson is busy setting planets on fire.

Zion: That's weird, then whose footsteps are echoing throughout the tunnels? They sound like they're getting closer.
Andy
"Uh, Zion, you hear that?" Andy turns around to look.
Zion
"hear what?" Zion is sort of lost in the glowing symbol.
Andy
"Those footsteps." She grabs Zion's arm.

Andy: You turn around and find that there is no one. The footsteps become ever-so-slightly louder to you. "You're being followed," you hear whispered into your ear. "Don't run; don't hide."
Zion: Eventually the footsteps go away, if you were even paying attention. Are you going to stare at that symbol all day?
Zion
"Imma touch it"
Andy
"Why are you going to touch it?"

Zion: You touch the symbol. It's kind of hot.
* Zion walks towards the symbol, hand stretched forward
Zion
"it feels right. I don't know honestly"

Zion: As you touch the symbol, you feel it... beating-- like a heart.
Andy
"Maybe we should go instead of touching weird glossing symbols. "
Zion
"should I remind you who drew those weird-ass symbols on your blindfold?"
"I got this"
Andy
"Last time you said that I blew up..." Andy puts her hand to her face.
Zion
"the alchemiter blowing up was not my fault"

She turns around quickly, "Fucking hell..."

"I'm kind of freaking out here, not gonna lie. "
Zion
"why?"
Andy
"I am seriously hearing footsteps. I don't like this. "
* Zion turns away from the symbol
Zion
"well, where would you like to go then?"
Andy
"I don't know, somewhere else." She shakes her head
`DM
Andy: The footsteps 'move' towards the symbol.
`DM
Both: You both hear a 'rumbling' sound (sort of like a stone door opening). The portion of the wall the symbol was on opens, revealing a small secret comparment in the wall.
Andy
She chews her lip, "Shit."
Zion
"welp"
`DM
Inside the compartment is a small note.
* Zion picks up the note

The note reads, in a typed, small font: "Run; hide."
Zion
"andy, we're leaving"
* Zion grabs andy and moves towards the ladder to the upper floor

Andy: You hear the footsteps following closely behind.
Andy
"Finally. What did it say?" Andy follows her.
Zion
"run, hide"
"you go first, up the ladder"
Andy
She frowns, grabbing the ladder and starting up it, "That's foreboding."
Zion
"you bet your arse it is"
"now hurry up"

Andy: You make it up the ladder.
Zion
(gotta shower, I'll be back in a few minutes)

* Zion climbs up the ladder after Andy, and shuts the hatch behind her
Andy

Zion
Does anything prevent me from taking that action?
Andy
"Why are all these planets so damn creepy?" Andy grumbles
Zion
"you said something about steps. do you think there's someone invisible?"
`DM
Zion: Nothing prevents you from getting up the ladder.
Andy
"Maybe? I heard something walk right up to us and then the wall."
Zion
"hm"
"my main question is how this note even got in there"
"but that's not important now"
"I gotta deal with this fucker"

Both: You are both in the upper level. Now what?
* Zion takes out a can of beans and opens it. Pistol in one hand, can in the other.
Zion
"andy, open the hatch on my mark"
Andy
"I mean, it walked up to us and did nothing." She hesitated, standing by the hatch.
Zion
"it scared you. fucker's going down"
"open in 3... 2... 1..."
The moment Andy opens the hatch, I shoot my gun down the ladder several times.
Andy
Andy finches at the sound of gunshots.
`DM
Zion: You shoot. At nothing. No one.
Zion
I go quiet and listen for steps.
`DM
Zion: You do not hear any footsteps.
Zion
".................."
"do you hear anything?"
Andy
"I don't hear anything."
Zion
"..............."
`DM
Both: Now what? Are you two going to continue standing there?
Andy
"Maybe we should get out of here."
"We might have just murdered someone's imaginary friend."
Zion
"heh"
* Zion pours out the beans on the floor below
Zion
"we'll return later, and see if there are any foot steps in the beans
