As the DC of TED, you may call this post "bias" or "one sided" but this is what I genuinely feel, I do not care about my rank within a division, I just want what is best for this faction and its future.

The first thing I want to address is for everyone saying that TED is "Useless" and "Un-needed" but as previously stated we are supposed to be the best of the best at driving, updating and anything that is traffic related, however I feel that at the minute the standards of the department has dropped, but lets be honest, if we let anyone in the PD who just think "OMG A FAST CAR, FUCK YEAH" and speeds around 24/7, crashing all the time and being generally idiotic with it, this is giving both the PD and the server a bad reputation, sure you could argue that not all are like that, but we had recruitment open for ANYONE who thought that they would be able to cope with the aptitude test and I think around 2-3 people applied, so how can you moan and say that it is not fair? How is it fair to get rid of TED when everyone who is within it did the training so that they could go on Mike, apply for a HSIU certification etc. What is so different between the privileges that TED get and that CID get (ability to mask, plain clothes etc) how come no one complains about that?

Despite this, I do see some of your points about Speed Traps and I will be speaking to HC and Tristan within the next few days to try and sort this out and change that rule entirely.
