  1. Mission #1.3; What Carnivores Fear.
  2.
  3. >Two hours into Game Night.
  4. >You'll need to remind yourself to murder Pinkie later.
  5. >It took you three weeks to actually get a party sized bag of cheetos into Equestria and you barely got a handful before it was gone. Pinkie was stuffing her nose in your bag like it was cocaine.
  6. >Party pone will pay for this.
  7. >Back to the quest.
  8.
  9. >The trip was long and unforgiving, but after an entire morning of traveling, Anon's party finally arrived at their destination; White Tale Woods.
  10. >They'd think a place containing a mystical cure-all would sound more lively, but these woods are uncomfortably silent.
  11. There's no way this place is uninhabited. There's way too much foliage.
  12. >Fluttershy tells Anon, "I think I saw a wolf scurry through the grass earlier. Maybe they're all hiding."
  13. Don't be silly. There's no way every species in White Tale Woods is capable of hiding, and even if that were the case what would they be hiding from?
  14. >Right on cue a tremor in the Earth causes their wagon to shake.
  15. >"What in tarnation was that?" asks Applejack.
  16. >As Anon and the ponies exit, a large, black, scaly leg comes out from the trees cratering the ground only a few feet away.
  17. >Your final creature for this quest comes into vision and their eyes widen in shock. He is a sixteen foot tall, black beast with a tongue as sharp as a blade, piercing yellow eyes, six legs, and long, wild blue fur covering his entire body. An absolute beauty and guaranteed to crush anything in his path, he is The Plague of the Forest: Kirajima. From his mouth, a dense blue fog emits.
  18. Sweet Celestia.
  19. >Anon's voice comes down to a whisper.
  20. Okay everyone, let's not make any sudden movements. We can just walk around him and find the-
  21. >Dash flies into Kirajima like a bullet, only to be swatted away like an irritating fly.
  22. "Dash, what the heck?!" he yells.
  23. >"We can take him!" she replies.
  24. >Anon gives a dissatisfied groan as he pulls out his blade. Almost unfaltered in expression, he runs up its giant leg, and brings a massive gash to your creature's face.
  25. >Mildly agitated, your creature's lizard like tongue exits and wraps around Anon's torso.
  26. >Twilight tells him, "Don't worry Anon! I got you!"
  27. >She shoots Kirajima in the eye with a bolt from her “Sterope’s Kiss” spell, shocking and momentarily blinding him with a surprisingly high role.
  28. >The grip only tightens.
  29. Twilight, you're not helping!
  30. >AJ begins furiously pounding your creature's left mid leg and tells him, "Yer not tonguing Anon on my watch!"
  31. >Kirajima's ridiculous tongue throws Anon, almost crashing him into Applejack.
  32. >Before Anon can be crushed under your creature's feet, Fluttershy swoops in to pull him away. As this happens, Rarity uses her unholy dark powers to summon three mare minions. A "Tri-Summoning" is great for overwhelming enemies, but these kinds of minions are always capped with a 60 attack max, 30 defense max, and only one health point. She summons Miss Sapphire, Madame Ruby, and Lady Emerald. Back to Fluttershy.
  33. >For someone without hands, Fluttershy has a surprisingly strong grip.
  34. >"That was a close one Anon. Who knows what could've happened?" she says.
  35. Thank you Fluttershy...You can put me down now.
  36. >"O-okay."
  37. >She drops him to his feet.
  38. >"Do you want healing?" she asks.
  39. I'm fine, don't waste your spell. Get defensive.
  40. >"Okay."
  41. >As Anon runs back into the battle field, Ruby's uppercuts your creature, and Emerald begins pulling at his hair with her teeth. Completely enraged, a black gunk-like substance begins to gather in Kirajima's mouth, and he shoots a concentrated glob of pure "Poison" at Sapphire. Sapphire hops out of the way, but the blast then hits Twilight.
  42. >It's disgusting, sticky, burns the nostril, and quickly begins deteriorating her health.
  43. >She will lose 10 health, for the next seven turns.
  44. >Dash delivers a strong hook, and with Pinkie's turret ready she shoots a festive firework that explodes on your creature's face. Twilight tries to blast him with her magic, but Kirajima somehow ducks it despite being a sixteen foot tall beast. The dice were not in her favor. With a powerful kick, Applejack is sent souring throw the air. You feel a strong sense of pride, but it's quickly shattered.
  45. >Anon's blade glows a holy white as he uses his ability ‘Hero’s Strength' boosting his attack by 20. With an base roll of 74 and an upgrade of +10, he cleave your creature's leg straight to the bone, and he gives an agonized wail. Thankfully, he still stands with his remaining five legs.
  46. >New Phase.
  47. >Pinkie fires another shot, and Emerald pulls a mouthful of hair out of your creature's gorgeous mane. Dash dives in to attack, only to be blocked and stomped into the ground.
  48. Fluttershy, heal Dash!
  49. >“I'm on it."
  50. >Fluttershy uses her spell "Recovery", and an angelic orb of light forms and fires at Dash. Her health rises by 50.
  51. >As Twilight's poison finally wears off Rarity defends, and Applejack bucks his side doing decent damage.
  52. >Wanting to dispatch the annoying trio of minions, you have your creature prepare for his strongest move. His mouth closes as the fog from his mouth begins to gather.
  53. >Before you can even do anything, Pinkie starts hightailing it back to the wagon. She clearly has the right idea.
  54. >Kirajima releases a black mist enveloping everyone in its blinding poison. This "Devil’s Mist" has a base of 70 attack; it's absolutely deadly.
  55. >Unable to defend your attack, all three gem minions are destroyed.
  56. >Twilight is horribly harmed only rolling a 23 defense. She's health is below half.
  57. >Rarity takes it just as hard, but her defense gives her a little less damage.
  58. >Pinkie crawls into the wagon as she chokes on the mist.
  59. >Fluttershy takes fair damage, but she's still got plenty of life in her.
  60. >Dash and Anon gain immunity through lucky rolling, but Applejack takes it hardest with only a 17 defense.
  61. >She collapses to the ground violently choking and coughing up blood. Through her desperate gasps for air the only phrase you hear is “Dag-nabbit. *cough cough* Can't...breath.”
  62. >Fluttershy desperately tells everyone, "I'll use "Grand Alleviation" once my turn comes back."
  63. >Dash begins circling the field with increasing speed until she forms a small tornado of color dispersing the mist. She then rockets out and with both hooves extended, she shatters one of Kirajima's many teeth.
  64. >Rarity gives him a stern whipping across the snout, before Dash flies in once again with a cross to the cheek.
  65. >Kirajima responds with an angered roar that actually pushes Dash away from him..
  66. >You decide to use your ability "Shock-Wave" on Twilight; It gives plus twenty attack, and half of the damage she receives will also be received by the party.
  67. >You roll a one hundred and four with Twilight getting a thirty-two.
  68.
  69. >Kirajima's upper left leg rises, and before she can even react, Twilight is crushed under his weight. The ground craters under his foot, and the party is blown away along with a giant sum of land.
  70. >AJ and Rarity are hanging on life by a thread, but Twilight isn't as lucky.
  71. >Kirajima's leg rises, and Twilight is left as a lifeless husk in the crater.
  72. >Spike screams out, "TWILIGHT!" and exits the wagon to run to her, but Dash flies to him to keep him back.
  73. >"It's okay Spike! It'll be okay", says Dash desperately trying to comfort him.
  74. >As he cries in her arms, Fluttershy walks to her body in a complete daze as if the creature no longer exist. Once finally reaching the crater and getting to see the corps of her friend, she completely breaks down, and begins sobbing.
  75.
  76. >Meanwhile in reality, Fluttershy is actually sobbing on the table.
  77. >"Twilight! I’m sooo sorry! I should've done something!”
  78. >Twilight awkwardly tries to comfort her.
  79. >"Um, there there. It'll be okay?"
  80. >Dash intervenes.
  81. >"Can't you just revive her next turn?"
  82. >Her crying slowly turns into bitter sniffles and she tells Dash, "Oh yeah, I sort of forgot."
  83. >Clinging to Twilight Spike asks, "So she'd be okay."
  84. >"I guess so", says Fluttershy.
  85. >Your palm united to your forehead before asking, "What's wrong with you guys?"
  86. >Back to the fight.
  87.
  88. >Kirajima feels no remorse, and raises his leg ready to crush Fluttershy. Before he can though, Applejack leaps out and with a head-butt causes his foot to miss.
  89. >“YOU DIRTY SON OF A GUN", she yells. "Why don't you try picking on somepony your own size?"
  90. >Kirajima's left in a daze as Anon lunges forward ready to drive his sword into his skull. He just rolled an 81; can you beat that?
  91. >Screw it.
  92. >You take the risky choice and use your ability "counter". If you beat his roll, his attack will become his own damage capping at 60, if you fail however, you're defense is gone and the damage caps at 60.
  93. >You give the dice a good kiss, and a hardy shake before you release them.
  94. >Eighty-three; glorious.
  95. >Kirajima's tongue shoots out and smashes him into the trees of the woods breaking several branches in the process. His body goes limp.
  96. >With a new phase beginning, Fluttershy now has the option to "Revive" someone in her party, but she also has a conundrum: Should she heal they're leader Red Anon, or choose Twilight? It crushes her a little, but she promised Twilight she would revive her and accordingly does so.
  97. >Twilight's brought back to 60 health, but Fluttershy's mana is now too low for any other spells.
  98. >"Thanks Fluttershy" she says with a small grin.
  99. > Immediately she uses “Touch of Chione”, a numbing ice attack that lowers Kirajima's defense by 10 for the next two phases.
  100.
  101. >With your turn up, you roll an 84 attack. Twilight rolls a 22 defense.
  102. "You gotta be kidding me!", yells Twilight.
  103.
  104. >Kirajima successfully crushes Twilight for a second time.
  105. >It feels good taking out Twilight twice in two moves, but in all of the commotion you forgot something extremely important; last phase, Pinkie skipped her turn to get an item from the wagon. Kirajima looks to the wagon and sees that she's returned with a massive mobile cannon launcher.
  106. >"Get a taste of this!" she says with a giant grin.
  107. >The cannon releases a gigantic colorful candy ball along with confetti, streamers, and a ton of smoke. Once it collides, Kirajima's cheek is completely shattered.
  108. >"It's a jawbreaker. Geeet it?"
  109. > She may have lost a turn, but her cannon gave her a +50 attack for this turn. With a 43 attack roll, against your weakened 23, your creatures takes a massive 74 points of damage. Damage cap law states an attack can do no more damage than 70, but that's besides the point.
  110. >Kirajima falls to the ground and struggles to get back up, but the Applejack gives a swift buck to his cracked up face causing him to collapse once more in pain. Rarity follows up, giving him a lacerating strike from her whip.
  111. >“You filthy beast! This will teach you to poison me," she says in an angered tone.
  112. >He gives a sharp wail.
  113. >She continues to whip him a good five times until Dash finally puts him out of his misery.
  114. >With a dive bomb attack, his skull collapses and he dies instantly.
  115.
  116. >You place your dice to the table and lower your head in defeat.

  118. >Rarity gives a satisfied “Wahaha," and the group begin to cheer in victory. Even you can admit, they did pretty good.
  119. Red Anon tells you, "Ooh, ooh, do the epilogue!"
  120. >You give a small sigh, but they do deserve it.
  121.
  122. >After the events of the Kirajima battle, Red Anon was taken back to the inn to somehow recover from death. After him and his team were fully recovered, they returned to Canterlot two days later with the Black Jasmine Lotus in hoof. It's accordingly grinded into a medicine by Canterlot's finest doctors and is quickly injected into Princess Celestia's flank.
  123. >Anon and his party stay in Canterlot for three days until she fully recovers. After finally being deemed cured, Celestia rewards them with not 20,000 but 30,000 as an extra generous reward. The money is divided amongst everyone except Twilight. She felt that saving the princess (along with a lock of her cosmic hair) was reward enough. They returned home with the highest of honors, and (as is tradition) immediately got drunk at the pub. Happy ending for everyone.
