  1. Cid has the royal guard put on full alert, practically locking Eiko in the Vault too. The young lady pouts calls her eidolons down to stay with her. Cid seems ready to mobilize against Durandal as soon as other nations are ready - an act of aggression like this cannot stand. He's been making preparations since Ayane's attack, and that they've developed a new type of weapon that might help against Eidolons. Unfortunately the prototype is too big to be used by individal troops, but he thinks he can install them on his airships.

  3. Queen Garnet is unwilling to mobilize against Durandal without first evacuating Alexandria, just in case Quar goes through with his threats. She's also worried about the safety of her subjects within Durandal proper.

  5. Burmecia's council is completely dismissive of the entire situation. They don't see any reasonable motive to Celeste being a target, care relatively little about LeBlanc's involvement, and sees no proof of the Glutton being a large enough threat to provide any trouble for their nation. Furthermore they have no proof that Quar even -controls- Atomos. It's not that they don't think you have good reasons for wishing to engage, but that they have a lack of reasons to dedicate Burmecia's military assets, which are -still- recovering.
