Current main spec gear:
My gear is currently what I've been able to pick up whilst doing dungeons etc, very much a work in progress still.
I started the patch intending to play Ele, but as it's in an impossible state at the moment I've decided to go back to healing.

I'm still experimenting with stats and finding out what is best for Resto, but it seems a comination of Mastery and haste is the way forward.

I haven't got any logs that are relevant as I haven't raided since Throne of Thunder (was raiding as Ele with Whatever).
Your choice of talents and glyphs:
My talents for raiding will no doubt be different from what I have currently selected, as my resto spec is a one-spec fits all for dungeons and PVP at the moment whilst we are in the early stages of the patch.

T1: Astral Shift - I will take this talent in raids for obvious reasons, having a defensive cooldown that you can control yourself is far better than the other options in raids.

T2: Situational - Usually Windwalk totem but sometimes Earthgrab will be needed

T3: Depends once again, there is some interesting synergy with Totemic Projection and Cloudburst Totem, but I've been using High Tide as my T7 talent for now. I will probably use Totemic Persistance mainly so that I can have Healing Stream and Healing Tide totem active at the same time.

T4: Ancestral Swiftness - I think this is too valuable to be ignored, the instant heal it provides is very helpful as a panic button.

T5: Rushing Streams - Seems to be the best option here, the other two may be circumstantially useful.

T6: I'll probably use Prime Elementalist for the buff it gives me, although Elemental Blast is useful at the moment for the extra Spirit.

T7: Using High Tide at the moment but the other two choices are interesting, they haven't been particularly impressive however and I like how High Tide works, and it fits raid healing well.

Glyphs are fairly straight forward - Healing Wave is useful, I'd use HST Totem glyph in Pve and then the 3rd will be utility depending on the fight.

What's your secondary spec and how well can you play it?
Elemental - I am very confident as an Ele shaman, I played Ele throughout Cataclysm and Mists, earning decent rankings including #2 Ele shaman on HC Lei Shen on our second kill I believe.

Unfortunately Ele is in a horrible state at the moment and I deem it pretty much unplayable, until something changes.
What gear do you have for your secondary spec?
Decent WoD heroics gear similarly to my Resto gear. - Also a work in progress still.
Player History
When did you start playing wow?
I started playing in Vanilla on and off, but I didn't start raiding until early WotLK (Naxx etc).
What classes did you play in the past?
I have always played Shaman, the occasional re-roll where necessary to Holy Paladin.

I played Resto throughout WotLK and Cataclysm (healing more of an off-spec during late cataclysm).
This included healing Heroic Lich King for about 5 months as we smashed our head on it (we did kill it eventually :D).
What is your experience from vanilla to Mists of Pandaria?
WotLK: Raided on and off throughout WotLK - Did Sarth 3 Drakes and Naxx etc quite early on. Ulduar and ToTC progress was steady as I was in a more chilled guild due to college.
Joined a hardcore guild (Gatekeepers) for ICC HC and we cleared the place on heroic for a realm second kill I believe.

Cataclysm: Gatekeepers folded during early Cata so I joined the top guild on Bloodhoof (Novus Ordo Seclorum) - Here I raided with them during the first patch killing Cho'Gall, Nef and Sinestra on heroic. We moved to Firelands where I played Holy Paladin, although I actually had to stop playing for a bit midway through Rag HC progress so I missed that kill unfortunately.
I came back for Dragon Soul - eventually becoming their raid leader/officer and we cleared DS fairly quickly, killing Spine HC with the 5% buff I believe.

Mists: I became GM of NoS during Mists as some of the older members quit, we did ok during early mists but ended up going 10man due to lack of people logging on. We killed Empress and Will on heroic getting the cutting edge achievment, but we missed this on Sha of Fear by 1 day, killing it the day ToT was released.
We ended up folding during ToT as people were bored, so I transferred to Auchindoun for ToT progress where we were able to get realm first Lei Shen and Ra-Den HC 25 kills. Shortly after this I had to stop playing for a while due to a change of job.

SoO didn't interest me when I was able to put the time into WoW again, I had already missed half of the patch and I didn't fancy playing catch-up so I decided to wait until the expansion came out to start playing seriously again.

What roles did you have in previous guilds?
Gatekeepers - Became their raid leader and officer. Was there for about 2 years.
Novus Ordo Seclorum - Became their raid leader and Guild Master after around 2 years overall again.
Whatever - Raider
Why did you leave your previous guilds?
GK - Folded
NoS - Folded
Whatever - Don't have room for me as a returning raider so I am looking elsewhere. (Currently a casual member).
General Questions
What's your attitude towards progress?
I've always taken a strong interest in working on bosses and their tactics - being a raid leader previously. I'm not the kind of player who turns up to a progress raid and stays muted the whole time whilst getting on with it, I'm always actively looking for tweaks that can be made to improve things.

Other than that I can repeat the generic hardcore raider answer everyone gives about not minding wiping etc but I'm sure you don't need to here that for the thousandth time.
What motivates you in WoW?
Overcoming objectives by working together as a group.
Why do you want to join WarCry?
You guys seem like a solid guild with good progression, and you are looking for a resto shaman so that always helps :)
How active are you in WoW?
I'm very active - Generally online whenever I can be, although I do work during the week. I can't see anywhere what time your raids start but as long as it isn't earlier than 7 in game time I will be fine to attend.
How does progression and farm periods affect your motivation to raid?
I won't lie my motivation drops during farm content, gear isn't my main drive when raiding it is progression, but I will still be there, I'm reliable. I also would never let anything affect my play, if I'm in the raid I'm there 100%, regardless of whether its progress or farm.
