Felson is an 18-year-old Sirrolantean Heavy Knight.  Although inexperienced and occasionally a bit inattentive, he has a good heart and a sense of honor.  Quietly hired by Seiri's father to look after her, he's likely trying to find her when he encounters the group.  Most of his spare money goes home to his large and hungry family.  He is profoundly uncomfortable with certain actions taken by Sirrolant, a fact that has repeatedly stymied any talk of promotion.
