[19:37] * Rabtar  when we last left our group, Spectre and Swamp_Shadow had infiltrated Shadow's compound to do a little recon while the others stayed behind in the tank, overlooking the compound. Spectre had snuk into the main hall, shooting Shadow in the head with a RPG, rudely interrupting a dinner party the buck was throwing. There is now CHAOS as guards and party guest scramble for cover. A second...
[19:37] * Rabtar ...explosion comes from outside where Spectre had dropped a mine adding to the panic...
[19:38] * Ragebrew sat in the gunner seat, idly chewing on the end of a cigarette as she stared out at the illuminated slaver compoud.
[19:40] * Spectre waits slinks backwards into hiding as he waits for the dust to clear
[19:43] * Elektron twitches his ear at the sound of a distant *boom* and shouts up to Ragebrew, "I heard something blow up, should we go check it out?"
[19:43] * Ragebrew flipped out her binoculars, looking at the base. She noted the milling ponies. "Looks like the party's started."
[19:45] * Rabtar  when the dust and smoke settles a bloody Shadow is lieing in the middle of the room, he's breathing but it dose not look good for him...
[19:46] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Good! Let's bring in our party cannon then!"
[19:47] * Elektron nods and starts up the tank, moving it forwards towards the base once it starts
[19:47] * Spectre frowns and opens the radio to the others, "Shadow is almost dead, ill try and bring him alive, base is going crazy...." he mutters and checks to see if anyone else is coming out of the dining hall
[19:48] * Ragebrew looked at her radio crackle. "Alright. Shall we come pick up or ya delievering? Cause I see some caged ponies."
[19:49] * Rabtar  one of the better equipped guards comes rushing over to Shadow upon see him on the ground "Get me a healing potion! The boss is hit!"
[19:50] <Spectre> "I need medical help if you want to keep him alive. Come on in, ill try to find you"
[19:51] * Rabtar  then there is a loud.... cackle and a big, glowing pink tornado of smoke and light erupts from near the Eastern most building. It scoops up the ghouls and a few guards that are to close and spins off into the desert....
[19:51] * Ragebrew blinked at the sudden pink tornado "Aaand there goes Swampy..."
[19:52] * Merciful_Devotion rubs her eyes. "So I'm not seeing things? Alright then..."
[19:53] * Elektron shakes his head a few times before returning to piloting the tank
[19:54] * Spectre staring at the guard for a moment and chomps down a Buck before darting forward, sword in mouth to try and recover the body and dispatch any potential followers
[19:58] * Rabtar  the griffin that was seen outside earlier comes in, she looks angry "What the fuck happened!? Why is the boss dead!?" Pointing at one of the other guards "YOU! Round up the guest and arrange an escort." pointing at another "YOU! Go round up a few others and search the grounds, that shot came from somewhere... HEY! Who is that!? Get them!!" A few guards seem to catch on and follow orders,...
[19:58] * Rabtar ...with a pair joining the griffin in advancing on Spectre readying weapons...
[19:58] * Ragebrew flicked her lighter to life, igniting the ancient paper. "Nope. Told her that mask was bad juju."
[19:58] * Rabtar  the rest rounding up the guest and any slaves in the building...
[20:01] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Well if it manages to keep her alive..."
[20:02] * Spectre glares "I got friends coming in here in a couple minutes with a fucking tank! You want to get out alive i suggest you leave now and go find somepony else that pays better"
[20:03] * Ragebrew shrugged.
[20:05] * Rabtar  the griffin glares and stalks closer, bringing up her rather mean looking machine gun "Fuck off. You know there aren't any tanks that work around here."
[20:06] * Spectre presses down the radio "Rage, have Elektron fire a round from the cannon into the air, they dont believe we have a tank"
[20:07] * Ragebrew perked up, smiling as she pointed the cannon at the top part of the building to the far right.
[20:08] * Ragebrew cycled out the shell, setting it aside for later use. Cause dat brass.
[20:09] * Rabtar  the building shutters after the round hits the roof. The party guest and some of the guards all duck low again. Spectre hears one of them say "I ain't paid nuff for this shit."
[20:11] * Spectre just waits "Tick tock... They're coming here wether you do anything or not... Kill me though and im pretty sure that you'll all be slaughtered "
[20:11] * Merciful_Devotion lets out a whooping laugh as the main cannon fires. "C'mon! Let them have it!"
[20:15] * Ragebrew looked down to Merci "Bit violent today... We're just gonna mow down anyone who gets in the way."
[20:15] * Rabtar  the griffin molly growls at him and takes a step back "Fine." she turns to the other two with her "Stand down, this is over. Go tell the others that the boss ate it and to seek other employment. Tell Shifter and Locksock I'm forming my own merc group, this guard crap sucks."
[20:17] * Ragebrew cracked open the radio "So, no one's killing ya? Stand by, we're coming in."
[20:20] <Spectre> "Yeah, hurry though"he grumbles and starts to drag the pony
[20:23] * Rabtar  the tank stomps on up to the compound the few guards that have already left giving them a wide berth...
[20:23] * Ragebrew swiveled the tank cannon to and fro at any pony that pointed a gun at the tank. "Fuck off! This cost more to shoot then yer sorry plot is worth! Fuck off!"
[20:26] <Spectre> "So... I think hes dead... Or almost there... Hurry!"
[20:26] * Rabtar  Spectre notices that Shadow is no longer breathing
[20:27] * Spectre grumbles "Fucking fat ass..."
[20:30] * Lostshot has been running around in the fray wondering what the bloody hell is going on. She looks around a corner and gapes. Not sure if the tank or the pony dragging Shadows body away was scarier. But she EEPS. Hard. And proceeds to go back behind the building and control her breath
[20:31] * Ragebrew rolled her eyes and hopped out of the tank, taking off towards Spectre at a fast sprint. "Well, bit of brain damage never hurt anyone that stupid."
[20:32] * Spectre drag drag drags
[20:34] * Lostshot pulls out her Blacktail, the only weapon she had on her and quickly popped out from the corner in her gold armor and aimed it at Specter, a pony she did not know. She fires off a round at him hoping to make him drop Shadow.. maybe they were bandits?
[20:34] * Rabtar  Elektron sees a small group of ponies gathering up slaves. Opening cages and the like. And they definitely are not guards...
[20:38] * Rabtar  Spectre gets hit in the foreleg hard and to make things worse he is now on fire
[20:38] * Elektron looks worriedly over to the slaves, but remains on an intercept vector with Ragebrew
[20:39] * Spectre screams and starts flailing about/searching for the source of the shot
[20:44] * Spectre uses the body as a shield!
[20:45] * Lostshot ducks back to cover in the shadows, something her mane now blended into with her new colors.
[20:45] * Ragebrew keeps a charging towards the mansion, Omega hanging from her mouth and pointing at anyone who looks twice at her.
[20:47] * Rabtar  the tank comes stomping through the front gate, the small group that Elektron saw gathering up slaves tinkering with their collars. A pair of collars lays on the ground at their hooves...
[20:49] * Ragebrew rushes inside, looking around. She sniffed the air a few times. "Who's cooking steaks?"
[20:49] * Merciful_Devotion laughs as she rides the tank, sounding more than a little maniacal.
[20:50] * Elektron looks over at the group of slaves, but continues towards Ragebrew instead
[20:51] * Lostshot looks around before jumping out and going straight to Spectre with her pistol raised. She didn't stop moving towards him "Get away from Shadow." she demands.
[20:51] <Spectre> "Over here!" he waves a flaming hoof "Someponies decided to start shooting at me for no damn rea-" he pauses "Her"
[20:51] * Rabtar  the compound is mostly cleared out, the two small bunk houses having been quickly looted for supplies by those leaving...
[20:51] <Spectre> "Rage, please talk her down before i decide to slice and dice."
[20:52] * Ragebrew looked at the immolated Spectre, then at... "Long?" She looked up and down the mare's equipment "Huh. Nice duds."
[20:54] * Lostshot "Rage? Who the hell are you?" she looked to Rage pointing her pistol at him as she jumped at first "R-Rage?... W-what the hell is going on?.. Is it really you?.." she says gun still raised.
[20:55] * Spectre keeps using the body as a shield "Hate to cut the reunion short but i got a dying fat pony here"
[20:55] * Ragebrew holstered Omega, looking at the mare. "Yup." She pulled a couple braids and BWOING, her hat catapulted across the room as her head fwuffed out. "And he makes a point." Zip, over the Shadow Steps.
[20:56] * Ragebrew stood back up a moment later. "Oh yeah, he dead. Not surpising. He's missing about a third of his skull."
[20:57] <Spectre> "Anti tank rockets do that sort of thing" he shrugs "Now if nopony minds... IM thirsty"
[20:57] * Rabtar  the dead bucks head is a mess of brains and twisted metal, it's a miracle he didn't die outright
[20:57] <+Ragebrew> "Odds are he's more lubricates than blood, but go ahead."
[20:58] * Spectre proceeds to bite into the slavers neck
[20:58] * Ragebrew shuddered slightly before looking back over to Long.
[20:59] * Lostshot sighs and aims her weapon down "Dammit...." she turns around putting her hoof to her head and sitting muttering to herself
[21:00] * Ragebrew looked to Spectre "When yer done there, call the others. Time to see what we can make out of this."
[21:00] * Spectre grins and stops for a moment, his muzzle bloody "Oh dont be that way~" he chuckles
[21:00] * Ragebrew looked to Spectre "Aye, been there, done that. Rather not do it ever again."
[21:00] * Rabtar  Elektron see the small group that was rounding up slaves leaving with most of those that they freed. They're heading West and around Old Appleoosa.
[21:00] <Spectre> "You do it, you have a radio, i got a slaver to drain dry"
[21:03] * Ragebrew stood up and looked at Long. "Ya should come look at our new toy. Sure ya'll like it." She nudged the mare with her stone hoof.
[21:04] * Spectre grimaces "By the way, can i get a potion poofle mare?"
[21:05] * Ragebrew rolled her eyes and trotted back towards the bloody mouthed Spectre, before cramming a potion down his throat.
[21:05] * Spectre gulps it down and follows it up with more blood!
[21:06] * Elektron pokes his head out of the tank and shouts towards Ragebrew, "Theres some ponies taking the slaves, should we try to talk to them before they get away?"
[21:06] * Lostshot sighs and gets up trotting around in circles "I.. I don't know what to do.. I just don't feel so well Rage.."
[21:08] * Ragebrew nodded "Well, bit of shell shock is expected. Come on, lets get back to the tank, sit ya down for a second."
[21:08] * Rabtar  Elektron feels somethings hot breath on the back of his neck. It's accompanied by an angry sounding growl...
[21:09] * Spectre drags the dead pony along, sipping away
[21:10] * Elektron eye's widen as he slowly turns around to look at the... thing
[21:10] <+Elektron> "uhhh.... Good boy?"
[21:10] <+Ragebrew> "Oh, and I got a new pet.... Who I let in the tank..." She QUICKLY trotted towards the tank. "Maw! Dun do it, ya git! No boitin' da mek!"
[21:10] * Lostshot "I- I should.. I want .. o-okay.." she says going towards Rage slowly..
[21:13] <+Ragebrew> Maw looked at the tech pony, and extended a very long, very wide, and very WARM tongue, before slapping it into Elektron's face and just sort of dragging it down his face. Ragebrew hopped onto the turret just in time to see the end result. "Damnit Maw..."
[21:13] * Spectre takes a seat on the tank and sips away "So whats the plan?"
[21:14] * Elektron shivers as the tongue slides down, and gentley tries to push it away... no angering the beast now...
[21:14] <+Ragebrew> "Sisters Spectre, he's not a damn juice box..." She turned back, looking to Long "Tadah. We found a tank, sorta." She reached into the Tank and snatched up Maw, just before the squig was going to pounce the pony. "And this is Maw."
[21:15] * Spectre pauses as he regards the corpse "Hey rage, how valuable do you think this guys shiny bits are? And can you remove them?"
[21:17] * Merciful_Devotion hops off the tank and looks over Long. "Huh... Nice armor there." She glances at Rage. "So... This who I'm pretty sure it is?"
[21:18] * Ragebrew sat down on the tank and scooped up Long, curling up with her. "Yup. Still smells like gun powder and oil. A bit more fruffy though."
[21:18] * Spectre waves Shadows hoof at Ragebrew then reconsiders "Actually... Does removing the cyber bits count as something for Rage or Elektron to do?"
[21:19] * Rabtar  other than his cybernetics Shadow has very little on him. Just a very clean 10mm pistol and a pair of strange potions on top of his lightened combat armour...
[21:19] * Lostshot instantly curls up in Ragey's hooves and nuzzles at her chest. She still had her collar on and looked tired.
[21:22] * Ragebrew looked at the collar on Long's neck. "Well. Someone see if Shadow's got anything useful on his pipbuck."
[21:23] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Don't look at me. Machines usually don't like it when I try to sweet talk them." She giggles a little and gives Lostshot a nuzzle.
[21:23] <Spectre> "Anypony?"
[21:24] * Elektron tilts his head "I'm not sure... I don't really know about the body to machine interface, but the cybernetics themselves I should be able to manage."
[21:24] * Spectre frowns and returns to bloodsucking then
[21:25] <+Ragebrew> "I'll cut back the meat, ya can peel off the metal. Soonish. We got a good bit of exploring to do. See if we can find anything interesting."
[21:25] * Lostshot "R-Ragey?" she mutters softly
[21:25] * Ragebrew looked back to the ball of Long in her lap "Yes little one?"
[21:26] <Lostshot> "Be careful with that PipBuck.."
[21:27] * Lostshot turns to Mercy and pulls her in for huggles between the two!
[21:27] <+Ragebrew> "Ya heard the mare Elektron. Steady hooves. We got some time to relax."
[21:28] * Spectre looks over to the only other stallion and shrugs "Kinda wish i had some blood bags... He doesnt taste half bad"
[21:31] * Elektron looks to Shadow, shuddering slighty "Well... lets start then." he says, glancing at Ragebrew
[21:33] * Merciful_Devotion smiles and happily snuggles up against Lostshot and Ragebrew
[21:33] * Ragebrew pried Longshot off of her, swapping the mare over to Merci for hugs. "Alright. Elektron, lets get that to work...." She dropped off her ammo cases then hauled Shadow into the building. "Piece by piece time. Save the pipbuck for last."
[21:34] <Spectre> "Have fun," he shrugs and wanders off to look around the compound
[21:34] * Lostshot curls up against Mercy now.
[21:35] * Elektron hops out of the tank and follows Ragebrew
[21:36] * Rabtar  Ragebrew seems to have wandered into the kitchen. A quick check of the fridge yields a little food that was left behind
[21:36] * Ragebrew pulled off her armor and slipped into her Stable 9 outfit. Where'd she get the surgical mask. "Alright. This is gonna be messy." Out came the knives, and apart came the flesh.
[21:38] * Rabtar  Ragebrew just kinda makes a mess of his cybernetics, reducing much of it to scrap. But he dose save the cyber leg with the pipbuck integrated into it
[21:39] <+Ragebrew> "Huh. What a buncha low grade junk." She shoveled the mass of flesh into a garbage can and slammed the lid on it. "Ah well."
[21:39] * Elektron looks mildly queasy at the display
[21:40] * Lostshot gets off Mercy after a bit and goes to curl up in a ball in a dark corner.
[21:41] <+Ragebrew> "Luckily there wasn't much blood to worry about." She slipped into her duster and flakvest, since they were not fighting. "Least I ain't feeding him to Maw. Go check for loot, I got a shell shocked mare to tend to."
[21:42] * Elektron nods "Should we do anything with the leg?"
[21:43] <+Ragebrew> "Try to pry that pipbuck off it eventually. Take yer time with it."
[21:43] <+Elektron> "Alright, I'll look around first though."
[21:43] * Ragebrew did a once over around the house before returning to the docks.
[21:45] * Merciful_Devotion frowns a little, her ears folding back. "You okay Long?"
[21:46] * Rabtar  they... don't find much. But there is a safe tucked away in the corner of a room that was probably Shadows. The bed big enough for four kinda gives it away...
[21:47] * Lostshot "Shadows.. gone.."
[21:47] * Ragebrew looked at the bed and shuddered at the thought of it under a blacklight, before hauling the safe back towards the loading dock.
[21:49] * Spectre will be back at the tank having found little of value and stares off into the dark
[21:52] * Ragebrew settled the safe on the dock floor.  "Aye Spectre, got a box for ya." She patted the heavy metal safe before trotting back over to Long.
[21:52] * Spectre blinks out of his trance and gets to work
[21:53] * Elektron trots back to the tank and hops to where Longshot was, "Stay still, I'll try to get the bomb disabled and detached, all right?"
[21:55] * Lostshot nodnods "Alright."
[21:59] * Elektron pokes around the collar for a moment before turning towards Spectre, "This might be better for you to do, explosives aren't exactly my specialty."
[21:59] * Rabtar %c3 the safe eventually opens, inside is a big pile of caps, a .45 auto SMG and a pair of hats. One purple and fabulous, the other absolutely magnificent!
[22:00] <Spectre> "Later," he mumbles, focused on the safe. Opening it up he sighs "Caps, an smg, and some stupid looking hats"
[22:00] * Ragebrew raised a hoof "Dibs on the big hat." She was drooling....
[22:02] <+Ragebrew> "Or... Oh, those are some really, really nice hats..."
[22:03] * Spectre shrugs "Take your pick" he mutters, stashing the caps away in his pack
[22:07] * Ragebrew picked up the big hat, staring at it for a moment. "Well, on the plus side, this things got a braizer built in at least. Less likely to eat us than...." She looked at her squig. "Come 'ere  Maw." The ball o' teef bounced over to Rage, and she slipped the hat onto the Squig.
[22:08] * Ragebrew looks at the little monocle that just appeared. "Glorious...."
[22:09] <Spectre> "You're gonna wear the other then?"
[22:10] <+Ragebrew> "I... don't know. I like my hat..." She pulled her hat down a little more.
[22:11] <Spectre> "Well does anyone else want the purple one? It would be nice if it matched my duster"
[22:12] * Ragebrew pulled out one of the two purple drinks, offering it to Merci "Well, ya wanted to be a test subject."
[22:12] * Elektron "So Spectre, can you do something about her collar?" He says, pointing at Longshot
[22:12] <Spectre> "Oh... Right"
[22:12] * Spectre gets to work on that
[22:13] * Merciful_Devotion giggles a bit nervously and hops over to Rage. "I did offer..."
[22:13] <Spectre> "What are they exactly?" he asks glancing up from his work
[22:13] <+Ragebrew> "If ya don't wanna, I will. Doesn't smell bad, but I got no idea what it does."
[22:16] <Spectre> "If you're sure it wont kill any of us... Ill try but... I got a collar to disarm"
[22:16] * Merciful_Devotion grabs the potion in her magic and takes a gulp
[22:17] * Rabtar  Spectre almost makes Lostshot explode.... thrice! But he dose get it off and tosses it away just before it explodes!
[22:17] <Spectre> "Totally meant to have that happen" he mumbles and slides away nonchalantly
[22:17] * Lostshot gulps and itches her neck... a lot... "T-thank you.."
[22:17] * Ragebrew sighed as she looked at Merci's aura became flowery. "Huh. Shiny."
[22:18] <Spectre> "Well, ill try as well" he mutters takin the other one
[22:24] * Ragebrew looked at the batpony for a moment. "Well, guess yer not gonna explode into bits. Right then." She looked around at everything they had pulled out. "Well then, unless we have some other things to pick over, looks like we're gone here."
[22:24] <+Merciful_Devotion> "Sounds like a plan to me. Unless the others disagree."
[22:24] <Spectre> "Yep..." he frowns and pulls out the slaver brand "Wish i got the chance to use this but... Eh"
[22:25] * Elektron nods "I didn't find much inside."
[22:25] * Ragebrew shrugged. "That's the case. We got an ant hill to clear out on the way back."
[22:26] <Spectre> ".... Why?"
[22:28] <+Ragebrew> "Because I'd rather not have this area get over run by giant ants?"
[22:35] * Elektron sighs "I hope you know what you're getting us into Rage."
[22:36] * Merciful_Devotion smirks. "Does it matter if he does?'
[22:38] * Ragebrew just smiled "I'm just flying by the seat of my pants, and I ain't wearing no pants."
[22:38] <Spectre> "Im wondering why im even still here anymore..." he mumbles
[22:40] * Lostshot goes over by Rage and sits behind her looking around
[22:44] * Rabtar  for finally taking down Shadow_Steps the group receives 10,000xp. Ragebrew looses 10 Karma for cutting Shadow up for bits...
