ITEM: a tiny wooden sparrow set with Forest's Heart garnet eyes

LOOK: Meticulously carved from a deep mahogany, the sparrow is perched upon a delicate branch, her head cocked and her wings folded neatly at her sides.
Resplendent, the carving has been stained and lacquered so that it shimmers in lustrous hues of burgundy and auburn, except for the eyes, dark green stones, which appear to hold you in their gaze.
They seem to trap the light within them, revealing an intense vermilion center.
An inscription has been etched into the back of the carving.

1) If they don't like the trapping the light, this is directly from the LOOK of the garnet:
A dark green stone carefully cut so light is trapped within to reveal an intense vermilion center. This jewel can be found in mines located near heavily forested areas and is named for its mix of hues reminiscent of unspoiled wilderness.

2) I would really prefer the Gorbesh but if that is truly impossible, then:
