Excerpt from "So I'm a Power Armor Pilot," by A. Veeres; March 18, 2014 post, "Regarding the Progenitors"

There's been a lot of misinformation lately about the Progenitors, or the Fae, as some parties have taken to calling them.  The goal of this post is to clarify the situation, and present the facts as we know them.

The Progenitors are an alien race that is clearly far more technologically advanced than our own. Want evidence? Look at the fucking power suits falling from the goddamn sky. It's believed that the entirety of the suits and symbiotes landed on Earth is a fraction of their capabilities. The biggest clue we have as to their existence are the transformative nanomachines loaded in every pod, which transform humans injected with them into a species that could be considered similar to the elves of western fantasy fiction. Analyzing Drop-Pod computers identify these as the "Progenitor" nanomachines, which implies the transformed humans ("Elves" in common paralnce) bear a resemblance to the Progenitors. There are unconfirmed reports of the Drop-Pods being released from a spacecraft that, depending who you talk to, is either in orbit around the Earth and refusing to contact us, or crashed in the Mariana trench, killing all the inhabitants, or...Like I said, conflicting reports. But it's been two years since their last interaction with humans, so there's no way to know.
