  1. Miranda, Bigby, and I set up shop in Majula, taking the tents after throwing their former inhabitants into the sea. We got mostly favorable responses from the inhabitants; Lenigrast warmed up to me somewhat because I knew some things about blacksmithing, but he was unamused when I offered to rip the door to his workshop off it's hinges so he could get back inside. The cat and the Herald were indifferent to us; Maughlin was friendly and while Saulden was his normally gloomy self, he seemed a bit happier once we started setting up shop.

  3. I decided to wait around for the Bearer of the Curse to show up, so as to preserve some part of the story. He had a wizened appearance, which surprised me somewhat, and wore hard leather armor. He didn't show any reaction to seeing us, other than to chat with us a while. I invented a story about the three of us making a pilgrimage to the Warriors of Sunlight shrine in Harvest Valley, mentioned the missing Rotunda Lockstone, and vaguely warned him about Licia, wishing him luck on his journey.

  5. I later helped him fight Ornstein, the Covetous Demon, Mythra, and the Smelter Demon, giving him a modified Hunter's Crossbow from Van Helsing that I had built and an imitation of my armor, as is tradition once completing an NPC questline, as thanks for "helping me." After he was satisfied with our "questline", he mostly left us be, only checking in on us occasionally. He ended up wearing Vendrick's armor and crown and two-handing his ultra-greatsword. I think he ended up taking the Throne, if only because as far as I can tell he never left Drangleic Castle once he got close to the end game.

  7. We ended up meeting Sir Alonne by chance; we had eventually found ourselves in the next cycle, after being "time is convoluted" into the future, and ended up in a kingdom whose Age of Fire was starting to end. Sir Alonne had helped this cycle's King ascend to the throne, but then the King up and went crazy, which meant a new Undead was supposed to kill him and usher in a new Age of Dark/Fire. We ended up helping the new Undead- a young girl this time, with an aptitude for Sorcery- do that, and Alonne, sensing that I had "a great 'spark' of potential inside me" decided to stick around with us. He got along rather well with Bigby, and with Miranda once he was certain she wasn't a shard of Manus trying to corrupt me. Like Bigby he prefers to let his actions do the talking, but he's not afraid to offer council or warn me of danger if he thinks I'm going to do something dangerous/stupid.

  9. I ended up amassing no small amount of souls during this time- not enough to start getting bigger, like Vendrick, but still a good number- though fortunately the Jump ended before I had to chuck myself in a furnace to keep the world turning. Ended up getting to be pretty good with Miracles, and even have a mostly complete library of the non-unique ones.
