  1. One is an abomination with semi-partitioned hooves (unlike either parent), a horribly dark coat, green reptilian eyes, a ridged nose (unlike either parent), offensively pointy ears that are shinier than any of Spike's scales insofar as we've seen, disproportionate fangs, two horns (more than either parent alone or combined), wings (again like neither parent) with teal membranes (like nothing on either parent), a bizarre ridge of plates in lieu of its mane in a pink-purple (again unlike either parent), and a lizard tail with gems stuck into it (inconsistent with both parents as well as its own mane), and no visible cutie mark despite being completely mature in all other visible physical aspects. The very premise of a dracony offends me, but this implementation of the concept is especially bad. This is a pony-shaped half-dragon that was supposedly born of a pony. It should have been born from an egg, given its primarily reptilian composition. Ponies do not lay eggs. This Should Not Be. This 'pony' is Wrong.

  3. And then there's this second sin against design, which is even worse than the first.
  4. Let's start out with the chest: it's glossy. Crystal ponies are translucent and refract light. This one only reflects it. This pony is made of plastic.
  5. Now, let's look at her legs. Let's pretend for a moment that there's nothing wrong with giving the illegitimate offspring of a princess custom-made crystal booties: what is wrong with her legs? Her tie-dye mottled legs are the sign of chemical burns or poor color matching at wherever they poured her plastic.
  6. Time for her head now: see the mouth? See how there's a fang sticking out? Ponies don't have canine teeth. Crystal ponies nor Celestia could have an offspring like this without bedding a carnivore (or conception by other means). Now, you see the freckles? Overdesigning right there. They make her face more busy without substantially impacting her character, and ultimately just increase the effort required to "accurately" render her design. Her eye is not like a crystal pony's or Celestia's; crystal ponies do have sharp-cornered highlights in their eyes, but they do not have diamonds embedded in their pupils. She's much more like one of the horrific Twinkle-Eyed ponies from G1, whose eyeballs were replaced by *rocks*. Then she inexplicably has an incorporeal and non-filamentous mane and tail.
  7. On top of all this, her CM has nothing to do with either her talent or her name.
