- Preheat oven to 290 (I use toaster oven outside with an oven thermo in it)
- Grind material into oregano sized pieces (I usually use 5g for 24 servings but that makes really strong pastries where you only need 1MAX to feel the effect )
- Put material in oven safe dish wrapped tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 7mins
- Remove but do not open until dish is cool.
- In a small pot fill half way with water and set to boil
- Now take your fat medium The recipe calls for and put it in a mason jar. (do not clean out the measuring cup used yet)
- Take your plant material and put it inside the mason jar and close.
- Set jar inside pot and let it bathe for 1hr. Swirling it (the jar) up every 10 mins
- After 1 hr remove from hot water bath and set aside to cool.
- Once cooled Pour back into measuring cup add additional fat medium if needed then proceed with pastry recipe as normal.
