Sidereal band-aid.

Right. This is an attempt to make a simple fix that doesn't require extensive rewrites, but which makes Sidereal Astrology usable. Personally, I [b]like[/i] the way that Astrology is currently like filling in planning permission for a home extension; it makes the celestial bureaucracy  feel like a bureaucracy, thus this isn't trying to fix that. I'm also not likely to use Greater Astrology charms, thus this fix [i]entirely[/i] ignores their existence.

Firstly, you can ignore the Essence Burden of those with Essence 2+ within the affected group/area, by choosing not to affect them. No points required to be  spent, but the astrology then does nothing to those people.

Secondly, paradox is how much your "Can you do this? And this? And this? And this?" is annoying the Pattern Spiders. When you annoy them too much, they just stop listening to you. Whenever your paradox hits 10, you cannot use Sidereal Astrology at all, until it drops down to 5. You can still use all your charms fine, your resplendent destinies still work, but you cannot make any new ascending, descending or resplendent destinies.

[i]Possibly[/i] make hitting 10 also mean that any intelligent trigger destinies stop working until you go back down to 5 again.

Thirdly, the Pattern Spiders do accept you'll do a certain amount of ordering them around, thus your paradox drops naturally, one point a week. However the Wrapped Fly and Wrapped Diamond rituals are no longer available.
