Adam - Zimbra Port

Hey guys - listening to you live now. Meet some great BSD guys last weekend at the Penguicon conference [ https://2016.penguicon.org/ ] .

 I'm reaching out to you is in regards to any interest in getting Zimbra ported over to BSD systems. Zimbra [now owned by Synacor] is changing their development model which should making porting and maintaining of Zimbra for BSD much easier than in the past. The Chief Architect of Zimbra, Quanah, is really wanting to get a BSD port and I volunteered to reach out to the BSD community to see if we can make that happen. Quanah and I were the ones that started a non-profit Zeta Alliance around Zimbra. Information in it is at :

 If you have any interest in this project or know others that would, please know that Quanah and I will help provide whatever we can to help make it happened. The new development model that Zimbra is moving to will also allow a more open channel to also address specific needs that the BSD community might have.
