The solution:

-You start with Corrin in A1 who says only royalty units can be in the corners. The clue also states that they share a row with their offspring. The only offspring that Corrin has that is specific to them is Kana. Kana is royalty, so Kana is in E1.
-Only blue haired characters can be in the last row, and only females can be in the first column. Azura is a female with blue hair and also royalty, so she goes in E1.
-Shigure is also a blue haired royalty, but is male, so he goes in E5.
-Shigure's clue states that an Oni Savage is in A3. The only Oni Savage that you recruit is Rinkah, so she is in A3.
-Flora is the only blue haired shuriken user, so she goes in A4.
-Keaton and Velouria are the only two units that learn the skill Better Odds. However, since Azura's clue says no children are adjacent to each other and Flora's clue states that the unit with the skill is next to Kana, it has to be Keaton. Since the fourth column is limited to only shuriken users, Keaton has to be in E2.
-Your long lost childhood friend is Silas, so he is in C2.
-Silas' column only contains units with similar skills, so other calvaliers, paladins, and great knights only. Going back to blue haired units being in the last row, Peri is the only unit on a horse with blue hair, so she is in C5.
-Since Hinata is not adjacent to any of the corners, he can only be in B3, C3, C4, or D3. However, since the C column is only cavalier based units and the D column can only have shuriken users, Hinata is in B3.
-With Hinata's clue, the only other blue haired unit that is not Hoshidan is Beruka, so Beruka is in B2.
-The unit with the personal skill Chivalry is Xander, so he is in C1.
-Scarlet has a blue rose in Revelations, so she is above Shigure.
-The only mounted shuriken user when you first recruit them in the game is Yukimura. He is in D4.
-The only other cavalry based unit that is not a child unit is Gunter. He is located in D3.
-The bow users recruited early on are Setsuna and Niles. One of the two can either go in B2 or D2. Since the fourth column is only shuriken users, they cannot be in D2. Hinata's clue states that he is the only Hoshidan in his column, so it can't be Setsuna. Niles is located off Xander's diagonal in B2.
-Xander and Hinata both have male children, and the only other father near Niles is Silas. Sophie is also a cavalry based unit, so she is in C3.
-In Birthright, Kaze dies if you don't reach A or S support between him and your Avatar after Chapter 15. He is a shuriken user so he is in D1.
-Camilla, Elise, Hinoka, and Sakura are all not in this quiz because of Kaze's clue. Taking this into consideration, and going back to Scarlet's clue about only mounted units being in her row, Leo is the only remaining mounted Nohrian unit left, other than the children units. But since Sophie is a child, another child cannot be adjacent to her because of Azura's clue, meaning Leo is the only capable unit to be in B4.
-The only spot adjacent to Kaze that is still open is Saizo, so he is in D2.
-Since Flora is the only female in the fourth column, Felicia cannot be in D3. Jakob is the only shuriken user left so he is in D3.
-Elise's retainers are Effie and Arthur. The first column can only contain female characters, so Effie is in A2.
-Back to Yukimura's and Scarlet's clues, their row can only contain mounted units and the last unit must be a child whose father is not in the puzzle. In addition to this, the first column can only contain female units. The only child who is a female, their dad isn't in the puzzle, and is a mounted unit is Caeldori, so she is in A4.
-There are 5 children in the quiz and only two spaces are left, so Velouria has to be in one of the two. Effie's clue says the first row has more children than the other rows, so to make that true Velouria has to be in B1.
-The only spot left is E3. In Fire Emblem Awakening, Owain often commented on his "sword hand twitching". Some references to this were even made in Fates. Odin in Fates is Owain from Awakening, so Odin is in E3.
