Ebony Kingdom Session 2

[6:46:44 PM] TheWanderingZebra: ... Adventure. It always seems to attract ponies towards it, no matter how dangerous it may be. When it comes to exploring dungeons, going on epic quests, or facing against a thrilling challenge, adventure seems to be something that everypony could look back remembering how fond those times were when they were with friends. Such was the way of the old world ...
[6:47:54 PM] TheWanderingZebra: ... To the world today however, adventure is no longer something anypony could look back to with fond memories. The Wasteland they have lived in has sapped all color and joy from those adventures with the likes of mutants, raiders, slavers, and the constant threat of death claiming anypony without warning.
[6:49:18 PM] TheWanderingZebra: But could Zebrica be different for our heroes? Perhaps through this adventure could they find the sanctuary they have been seeking ... but what they'll soon learn is that the effects of the Great War long ago has affected all sides of the war.
[6:49:34 PM] TheWanderingZebra: **Session 2: Begin**
[6:50:58 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Our heroes wake up eventually in the single room provided with the ship they were using. It's been about 2 days now since they've been traveling by sea. Silver Tongue had given instructions to the group on how to operate the ship to it's course, and had enough food and water to last for two days.
[6:52:11 PM | Edited 6:52:19 PM] The Custodian: Valliant, taking up half the room, will leave at daybreak, heading out onto the deck with her swords again to practice. THe alicorn had done little else so far during the trip...
[6:53:08 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli, most likely curled up in one of the far corners, will eat a small meal then go find a quiet spot to watch the ocean pass by.
[6:57:18 PM] Schorcht: Cherry had been awake for a while now. Her sleeping schedule is erratic at best. She can be found at the helm, whether it worked or not. With a deep breath she embraced the rising sun.
[6:57:21 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Amber Sun, having claimed another corner decides to tinker around with her recharger rifle, she wanted to make sure she did her daily maintainance with her gear. You can see her levitating the pieces of the rifle individually with her telekinesis.
[6:57:39 PM] Solid Snake: Aark lays with his eyes closed. Darlin' never could tell when he's resting lazily, or when he's truly asleep.. She paces quietly watching him.
[6:59:39 PM] Dusk: Dirge grumbles as he takes up the spot that Valliant had vacated.  He was rather angry that the alicorn took up  good part of the room, but he'd rather be on good terms with who he thought was the greatest threat on the ship.  He reads a worn, tattered book, taking some effort to flip the pages with only one talon.
[7:04:34 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Going outside of the ship and onto the docks could those whom went outside see a fog surrounding the ship as it trends on the green ocean it was transversing. Sprocket could be seen hovering near Cherry. Though, the sun could be felt a bit through the fog at least.
[7:05:40 PM] The Custodian: Valliant will pull out both swords this time. Practicing her ability to wield the two at once in a fight
[7:14:45 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: 'Ok, let's see, the trigger mechanism is still a little loose for my liking and I should probably recalibrate the focusing matrix.' she thought as she examined the different parts. 'I should really think about getting some new weapons besides this rifle of mine.'
[7:15:33 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli decides he does not like fog on the ocean. It makes everything boring. And they could run into an island or something!
[7:15:39 PM] Schorcht: Cherry happily keeps the ship going straight. "Argh, a new world be a waiting fer us Sprocket. Smell the air! A bountiful booty lies across these seas!... Argh"
[7:16:28 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Sprocket responds to Captian Cherry with various beeps.
[7:17:11 PM] Solid Snake: "Aark..."

"No."

"You dun even know what I was gonna say!"

"Ah do. And answer is still no."
[7:17:34 PM] Dusk: Dirge ponders for a moment as he comes across a assage in the book.  He had read this dozens of times, but he still likes to contemplate on these passages.  "There is nothing more difficult to take in talon, more perilous to conduct, or more uncertain in its success, than to take the lead in the introduction of a new order of things..."
[7:18:04 PM | Edited 7:18:14 PM] Schorcht: "Aye, ye be right me hardy. Something truly be wrong wit dis scene..." Cherry squints her eyes and observes her surroundings carefully.
[7:21:14 PM] The Custodian: Valliant pauses mid swing and frowns as she brings up the ornate blade for a good look then looks at the other "... Unfortunate" she mutters and turns around to look for the mechanic pony she had seen earlier during the ride
[7:23:50 PM | Edited 7:24:23 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: 'Alright that should do it.' she gives a satisfied smile as she places the rifle back together after making a few minor adjustments. Her thoughts are interrupted as she feels a grumble in her stomach. 'I was so busy with maintanence I forgot to eat breakfast.' she places the rifle on her back as she makes her way to the kitchen.
[7:23:50 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Cherry could barely see at first through the fog, but she can see they're making progress when she gets to see something far away in the distance a few miles away. What luck for her to catch that.
[7:24:52 PM] Solid Snake: "Papaaa~" Darlin'

"No." Aark says without looking.
[7:25:03 PM] The Custodian: Valliant will step out and block Ambers path when she steps out "I require your aid"
[7:27:25 PM] Dusk: Dirge frowns as he keeps on reading, barely paying any mind to Aark and Darlin'  "War is just when it is necessary; arms are permissible when there is no hope except in arms."  He clicks his beak slightly...
[7:27:47 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Amber steps back a bit at the Alicorn's approach, she raises a brow and frowns. She was never gonna get used to being around some many ponies for so long, especially the Alicorn. "What exactly did you need?"
[7:28:49 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn flourishes her blades "Look at these... Whats wrong with them?" she asks. FOr the most part they both look fine... Although the edges could use some sharpening...
[7:32:46 PM | Edited 7:34:02 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Hmm." she mutters as she looks at the swords. "Well the blades are pretty dull, they look like they'd need a good sharpening and definitely some polish, other than that I don't see much wrong with them, what about the hilts?"
[7:33:44 PM] Solid Snake: Aark lights a cigarette, while Darling whines.
[7:34:13 PM] The Custodian: "The hilts are fine. And yes, that is why i need you aid. Can you sharpen these?" she asks, pulling out a whet stone "Despite my skill as a duelist i never was skilled in the proper maintenance of a blade"
[7:34:47 PM] Dusk: The griffon finally looks up from his book, frowning as he can hear the whining filly.  "What's wrong?  Getting sea sick?"
[7:35:52 PM] Schorcht: Cherry gasps with a large smile. "Land Ahoy!!" She screams at the top of her lungs. With a quick jump she pulls the fog horn rope and lets it go after a good 5 seconds.
[7:36:17 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Hmm, well I suppose I could see about getting them sharpened at the workbench." she says before her stomach gave off another grumble. "Erm, after breakfast atleast, can't work properly on an empty stomach." she finishes with a sheepish grin.
[7:36:36 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Kivuli outside could continue seeing the ship head towards the same direction through the fog. As they gain more distance could he, and Cherry who saw it first, could see that they were getting closer to land. Oh, yeah, and everyone heard the horn.
[7:37:03 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli looks up at the shout of land. "Finally." He pulls his hood up and heads for the bow of the ship.
[7:37:04 PM | Edited 7:37:21 PM] The Custodian: "Very well, i leave them in your care" she says, passing the two blades and turning to leave when she gives a jump at the foghorn and glares at the source "Foolish little filly...."
[7:37:59 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Her train of thought is broken after she hears the sound of the horn. "What in Equestria?" she exclaims.
[7:38:46 PM] Dusk: "Ficken Ei!"  Dirge jumps up as the horn shatters his peaceful world, making him growl under his breath.  "It's too early for this..."
[7:42:46 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: She sighs as she takes the swords with her telekinesis as she continues toward the kitchen. As she steps inside she heads inside, she goes straight to the fridge and opens it to view it's contents. 'What are we having today?' she thinks to herself.
[7:43:02 PM] Solid Snake: Darling looks up at the Gryphon. "No- no... I'm not seasick.."
[7:43:26 PM | Edited 7:43:36 PM] The Custodian: Valliant proceeds to the bow of the ship and simply waits for landfall, muttering quietly to herself the entire time
[7:44:26 PM | Edited 7:44:32 PM] Dusk: "Then what's wrong?  Or is something just not going your way?"  Dirge tries to get comfortable again, this time putting away his book.  "Or is your father just like that?"
[7:45:07 PM] Schorcht: "Sprocket! Take a note!" She asks of the robot. "Captains log, day 3: I have successfully navigated the big blue leading my team to safety. What perils of death wait for us on land?" She notes with a hoof to the sky! However the hoof spins the helm wildly to the left before she quickly corrects course.
[7:45:24 PM] Solid Snake: "I wanna play, and talk, and meet everyone..."
[7:45:39 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Amber could find about five Fancy Buck Snack Cakes, 3 Fresh Pears, a Maresissippi Quantum Pie, 10 bottles of fresh water, 3 cans of Veggies, oh, and a Sweetroll. My has this Silver Tongue come prepared for all of you.
[7:46:32 PM] Dusk: "Not sure if you can do that last part, but I've got nothing to do, right now."
[7:46:35 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The ship could be felt taking a drastic move before getting corrected by everyone. Sprocket makes beeps in replies to it's master.
[7:47:30 PM] Solid Snake: "Leave 'em alone, Darlin'." Aark says, calmly smoking his cigarette.
[7:50:25 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Oh-ho-ho~!" she exclaims as she eyes the Maresissippi Quantum Pie. "Come to mama." she sets the swords down on the table and grabs the pie and a bottle of water before closing the fridge door behind her. She sets the pie and waterbottle down infront of her, she glances at it before taking a large bite out of it.
[7:53:12 PM] TheWanderingZebra: At the time that Amber began her feast on the pie did at that very moment did Cherry make her drastic turn for the ship, forcing the pie to fall towards Amber's face before the turn was corrected. Hmm, it still tasted good though.
[7:54:11 PM] Solid Snake: "I tol' ya, Darlin'... We stick together.. Leave the others be.."
[7:55:32 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli shifts to keep his balance. "So why did we let her drive again?"
[7:55:32 PM | Edited 7:56:04 PM] Dusk: Dirge frowns before getting up, grumbling at how jerky Cherry is steering this freaking ship.  "You're protective of her, I'll give you that.  Not a good way to raise a child, though."
[7:57:16 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "UGH! Luna-Damnit!" she says as she knows that her glasses were going to need a thorough washing...and her face...and her mane. She grumbles as she continues to eat the pie as she was still hungry, and it was arguabely the best pie she's ever had in a while.
[7:59:05 PM] Solid Snake: Aark raises his Hat, looking at dirge. "She ain't mah child."
[7:59:42 PM] Dusk: "You treat her like she's yours.  That's enough to call her your filly."
[8:01:11 PM] Solid Snake: "...call it whatever ya like. But it is what it is.."
[8:01:32 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: She grabs a nearby rag with her magic, wets it in the sink and begins to wipe her face of the rest of the pie...atleast the parts she couldn't lick off.
[8:03:50 PM] Dusk: The griffon shrugs before looking back to Darling. He starts to smile as he stoops slightly.  "What would you like to play, then?"
[8:07:20 PM] Solid Snake: Darlin smiles a smile sweet enough to replace the sun.

"I dunno. What do you like to play?~"
[8:08:45 PM] The Custodian: Valliant eventually gets bored with staring out at nothing and heads inside, doing his best to ignore the others and looking over at Kivuli. "You've been quiet for most of the trip zebra... Any reason?"
[8:08:59 PM] Dusk: Dirge chuckles before he moves to muss up Darlin's mane.  "Anything is fine, Fohlen."
[8:09:16 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli shrugs. "Haven't had that much to say to be honest."
[8:10:25 PM] Schorcht: Cherry grabs the intercom and taps it twice. "Goooood Moooorning sailors!~ This is your Capitan speaking. We are now passing some fog. If you look to your left you won't see much, and to your right it's about the same. However fantastic trip is coming to an end, as we will be docking soon enough. I hope you all had a blast, and thank you for Cherry Sealines! Please come again!" She turns it off and turns to Sprocket, "whatcha think?"
[8:11:17 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Sprocket makes several beeps to Captain Cherry.
[8:11:22 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn frowns "I sincerely hope shes not going to be like this the entire time..."
[8:11:57 PM] Fordregha: "She probably will...unless something traumatic happens and I doubt it will be worth the peace and quiet."
[8:12:21 PM] Solid Snake: Aark peers over, watching Dirge like a hawk.

Darling opens her bag, and offers a rare treasure, some old dirty crayons. Offering a few to Dirge. "We can draw a picture, or play tic-tax-toad!"
[8:14:30 PM] Dusk: The griffon smiles as he takes a hold of a few crayons.  "I think we can make a quick drawing, little one."  He takes a red crayon, starting to make a few lines on the wall.  It wasn't like they were making it any worse.
[8:14:43 PM] The Custodian: "UNfortunately... " she mutters "What do you know about the lands we're about land in? Zebrica was a foreign and unknown to me before my ascension"
[8:15:38 PM] Fordregha: "Nothing."
[8:16:29 PM] The Custodian: "Really? I was hoping you might know something. You are a zebra after all"
[8:16:46 PM] Fordregha: "I don't even know what my name means."
[8:17:10 PM] Fordregha: "I've honestly been afraid to say it while I have the amulet on...what if it's something stupid?"
[8:18:30 PM] The Custodian: "Well then use an equestrian name when we travel over." she shrugs
[8:18:38 PM] Solid Snake: Darlin begins drawing a Gryphon, her new friend.
[8:18:53 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: After cleaning off the pie remnants and wiping her glasses clean, she then heads off to the workbench room with the swords in tow. She sets them down and begins working on the swords with the Whet Stone
[8:18:56 PM] Fordregha: "Maybe...if I think of a good one."
[8:20:57 PM] Dusk: Dirge grins as he starts to draw a couple of eggs, sitting on his haunches as he looks over at Darlin' and her work of art.  "Heh, you're doing a good job."
[8:22:29 PM] Solid Snake: "Thanks! I- it's you~"
[8:22:42 PM] The Custodian: "Its certainly omething to think about"
[8:24:59 PM] Dusk: Dirge beams while he draws some more, drawing a fairly good picture of Darlin' near the eggs.  "I'm flattered, Fohlen.  Most ponies don't even want to talk to me, outside of work."
[8:25:27 PM] Fordregha: "Mmhmm....sorry I can't tell you anthing...hoping to find some stuff out myself."
[8:26:00 PM] The Custodian: THe alicorn frowns "How competent are you in battle by the way? What can you do?"
[8:27:37 PM] Fordregha: "Well...immediately before I got hired, I snuck into a windmill with three raiders in it to rescue a foal. They didn't see me until I got his collar off and even then it was purely luck on his part. Then I killed two of them, made the third run away pissing his pants, and took the colt home."
[8:28:53 PM] The Custodian: "So... An assassin? A sneak?" she asks looking him over "HArdly an honorable profession. But then again maybe that is the norm for your kind"
[8:29:51 PM] Solid Snake: "Why do you call me Fohlen? Whassat mean?"
[8:29:59 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli looks at her hardly. "The town immediately threw me out cause I forgot to pull my hood back up and they saw I was a zebra...so yeah, thanks for reminding me I fit the stereotype."
[8:30:53 PM] Dusk: "It means 'filly' or 'colt.'  A little pony, and a cute one at that."
[8:30:54 PM] The Custodian: "It is a stereotype then? I was not aware"
[8:31:19 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli just glares at her for a moment.
[8:31:32 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn doesnt seem to notice
[8:31:49 PM | Edited 8:31:53 PM] Solid Snake: "Oh! Well you're like a birdie!"
[8:32:09 PM] Fordregha: "Right, well...not been having a good time in Equestria so I figured I'd try the homeland."
[8:33:08 PM] Dusk: Dirge sticks his tongue out playfully at Darlin'  "Yeah?  Never had a pony call me that, before."  He then finishes up his drawing, nodding in satisfaction before offering the crayons back.
[8:34:03 PM | Edited 8:34:08 PM] The Custodian: "Somehow i doubt either land is kind to its inhabittants these days"
[8:35:25 PM] Fordregha: "At the very least people won't look at me like I'm a damn demon."
[8:36:01 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "*phew* Okay, that ought to do it." she steps back from the bench and admires the newly-sharpened blades, she decided to add a little polish for a nice finish and wasn't dissappointed. She picks up the swords with her magic and examines them once more before heading out.
[8:37:57 PM] Solid Snake: She takes them back. "Well you are~"
[8:38:53 PM] Dusk: Dirge chuckles as he pats the filly on the head.  "I'll take that as a compliment.  Thank you."
[8:43:19 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn huffs "I can relate. So many ponies seem to think me one of those mutant abominations that can be found in the wastes" she mutters and frowns a moment later "Shut up" she then hisses
[8:51:14 PM] Fordregha: "Uhhh...yeah. People really need to stop thinking with their eyes or something profound like that."
[8:52:37 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Amber heads back to the room and finds Valiant currently in coversation with the other zebra of the group. Kivuli, if she remembered correctly. She gives a cough to get Valiant's attention.
[8:54:10 PM] The Custodian: THe alicorn glances over to the unicorn "Finished already?"
[8:55:19 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Yeah, it would've been sooner but I had a um, 'mishap' with breakfast." she levitates the swords towards the Alicorn.
[8:56:02 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli nods at her, glancing at the swords.
[8:57:37 PM] The Custodian: The Custodian the alicorn takes the two and inspects them "Well done... "
[8:59:55 PM | Edited 9:00:06 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Well, it was just a simple sharpening and a bit of polish-work, pretty simple." she shrugs, but was pleased that she appreciated the effort. Something most others wouldn't do often.
[9:04:15 PM] The Custodian: "Keep the stone for now... In case the sharpness dulls once again" she says, sheathing the blades
[9:08:19 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Right, well this'll come in handy." she mutters as she places the whet stone in her saddlebags.
[9:12:36 PM] Schorcht: Cherry keeps the ship steady as land slowly grows closer and closer.
[9:16:57 PM] TheWanderingZebra: It seems that the ship is getting closer and closer to land, eventually making visible a beach of sorts as the ship draws closer to land.
[9:22:09 PM] Schorcht: Cherry beams. "There it is Sprocket! Treasure, adventure, friends all await!" She looks up and down the coast for a port.
[9:22:33 PM] TheWanderingZebra: As Cherry looks outside ... there is no port ...
[9:23:44 PM] Schorcht: Cherry hmms. "...perhaps it's further along the coast.." She whispers to herself.
[9:24:04 PM] TheWanderingZebra: ... There is /no/ port ...
[9:25:10 PM] Solid Snake: Aarks brings Darling topside. "Land?"

"Are we there yet?"
[9:25:49 PM] Dusk: Dirge snhrugs as he checks his gear, deciding to grab some food from the fridge before heading topside.  "Huh...are we here, already?"
[9:26:12 PM] Schorcht: Cherry boats towards the shore, perhaps there is just a... Small port! Yeah!
[9:27:19 PM] TheWanderingZebra: ... As Cherry desperately looked, there is no port whatsoever, and all other attempts to find one will reveal the same result. All she can see is just a beach that she could potentially crash the ship into.
[9:30:04 PM] Schorcht: The shore moved closer and closer at an incredible speed, the throttle on Full Forward. Cherry locked up. "Ah fuck..."
[9:31:26 PM] The Custodian: Valliant calmly steps up onto the deck and watches the shore approaching. "Shouldnt we be slowing down?"
[9:33:50 PM] Schorcht: Cherry starts pulling all the ropes and pressing all the buttons frantically! "One of these has to be a 'Dock' button!" The horn sounds a few times and fog lights go on and off.
[9:34:14 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Does she know how to drop the anchor?" she asked aloud to no one in particular. "If we even have an anchor?"
[9:34:31 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn sighs and spreads her wings to take to the air to avoid the coming crash
[9:35:43 PM] Dusk: Dirge smiles as he watches the land coming up very close, the griffon munching on a snack cake.  He had no freaking clue how ships worked, and thought that this sort of landing is normal.
[9:36:17 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli pulls his hood further down in front of his face.
[9:36:59 PM] Schorcht: Cherry gulps and pulls the comm. "Everypony! Brace for impact!"
[9:37:38 PM] TheWanderingZebra: As they near closer and closer does it finally reach land! ... literally crashing into land as everypony can feel the ship shaking madly! Luckily, it doesn't seem to randomly explode, but it does make a big mess on the front of the ship, as well as making everypony feel like they were in an earthquake for awhile.
[9:39:26 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Finally does the anchor fall to the beach floor.
[9:39:40 PM] Schorcht: Cherry crashes into the helm flying forwards from the sudden stop. "Oof~"
[9:40:04 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Sprocket remains calm as usual, simply hovering near Cherry.
[9:40:47 PM] Solid Snake: Aark held tight to Darling for the impact, quickly checking over the giggling filly who found the ordeal fun.
[9:40:53 PM] Dusk: Dirge laughs as he kept himself propped against the railing, the griffon feeling a bit rattled, but unhurt.  "That was a nice landing!  A bit fast, but that's what you have to do....right?"
[9:40:55 PM] The Custodian: Valliant lands on the now immobile boat "Its so nice having wings now"
[9:41:41 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli fell. He is now spralled against the deck. Whether it was intentional or not is up to interpretation.
[9:43:40 PM] Schorcht: Cherry quickly gets up and dusts herself off. "Welcome to Zebrica everyone!"
[9:43:59 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Amber falls on her back with a sound 'Oof!'. "Ugh, guess she forgot the anchor afterall."
[9:44:15 PM] Solid Snake: Aark grunts. "Le's just do our job.... n' get paid.." He says, fixing his brim hat.
[9:44:28 PM] TheWanderingZebra: **Survial in Zebrica: Day 1**
[9:45:27 PM] The Custodian: "Speaking of our job... Did we ever get a map or some indication of what direction to go?"
[9:45:57 PM] Dusk: Dirge grins as he flares open his wings, taking flight from the boat with a bit of a forceful gust for those nearby.  A new land, with unknown possibilities.  Something seems...woken up inside of him.  Like his spirit was being lifted.
[9:47:01 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli gets back to his feet, shaking his head. "Okay landing, I think."
[9:49:37 PM] Solid Snake: Aark is grim, and cautious. But from the days you've spent on the boat with him, it seems there's always a stick up his ass. He's hardly conversed, or so much as grunted at any of you.

Darling however is a peach.
[9:51:59 PM] Dusk: "Come on, you lazy ponies!  We have a contract to fill, and a new place to go through!"  The griffon circles about the boat a couple of times, waiting impatiently for them to leave.
[9:52:34 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn looks up at the griffon for a moment "FIrst off, we should salvage what we can from the boat. Food, water, equipment..."
[9:53:40 PM] Solid Snake: Aark looks at Valiant. "Now hol' up, freakshow.. How are we divving up th' finds?"
[9:54:28 PM] The Custodian: THe alicorn regards the stallion for a moment "Those who can make use of whatever there is may use it. For now we must share what we have"
[9:55:37 PM] Schorcht: Cherry leaves the helm and joins the rest where they are conversing. "What we talking bout?"
[9:55:38 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "We could probably use the boat as a base." she suggested. "Atleast until we can find other means of shelter, not to mention it's the only thing we have to get back home on so we'll have to monitor it."
[9:56:01 PM] Fordregha: "It's also the only landmark we know at the moment."
[9:56:37 PM] Dusk: The griffon nods, looking out towrds the inland.  "Yeah, this might be our only way to get home, so we better watch it."
[9:56:49 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Thank goodness I brought my compass, atleast we won't get lost too easily."

[9:58:05 PM] Solid Snake: Aark lights a cigarette, and grunts. "We ought to find a new safehouse as soon as possible.."
[9:59:40 PM] TheWanderingZebra: As the group looks around do they see the beach of Zebrica is quite more clean and peaceful looking than what they saw earlier than in the Equestrian Wasteland .... Though, they take notice of the various trees that seem to engulf the entire land further up ahead, appearing to be an entrance to a jungle of sorts based on how their trees look.
[10:00:17 PM] The Custodian: "Perhaps find ourselves some locals?"
[10:01:23 PM] Solid Snake: "..."

"Papa?"

"AARK."

"Aark? What are those?"

"Dunno.."
[10:01:42 PM] Fordregha: "I agree with the Prince. No better way of finding out the lay of the land than to ask someone who lives there."
[10:02:50 PM] Dusk: "Yeah, we're better off finding some locals.  If it's anything like home, though...few of you are going to get run out of...whatever these zebras live in."
[10:05:37 PM] Solid Snake: Aark is looking off into the distance, to the trees, with a scowl. "Them ain't raight.."
[10:06:49 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Hmm, i'm having a strange feeling."
[10:07:07 PM] Schorcht: "Ah what's wrong with a little trees?" Cherry takes to the skies and observes her surroundings.
[10:07:38 PM] Fordregha: "Point, however," Kivuli looks at Cherry, "At least two of us might be able to blend in...sort of. At the very least we can explain our presance easier."
[10:07:45 PM] The Custodian: "Like i said. Lets get everything of value off the boat and get on our way"
[10:08:17 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Don't you get the impression that the trees we're seeing aren't exactly natural?"
[10:08:37 PM] Dusk: "What do you mean?"
[10:09:01 PM | Edited 10:09:16 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: " Especially since this kind of soil around, well mostly sand, can't even support these types of trees."
[10:09:28 PM] Schorcht: Cherry pays not special attention to the trees. "Trees be trees..." She does a quick look over of the boat and all that is boat.
[10:09:34 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli looks at the jungle. "They seem fine to me. They're trees, what more do you want?"
[10:09:39 PM] TheWanderingZebra: As Cherry checks around her surroundings down below could she see the beach ... and an endless row of jungle.
[10:10:18 PM] TheWanderingZebra: As Cherry can see as well it looks like the boat isn't moving anytime for awhile unless massive repairs are done to it.
[10:10:19 PM] Solid Snake: "What in tartarus is a trees?" Aark asks.
[10:12:07 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Amber quickly teleports down to the beach as she looks at the damage sustained to the boat. "Oh this is NOT good, repairing this thing is gonna be a nightmare."
[10:13:03 PM] The Custodian: "YOu can worry about that later. We wont need to use it again until after we complete our work here"
[10:13:35 PM] The Custodian: "A tree is what those charred wooden things that dot the equestrian wastes back home"
[10:15:20 PM] Dusk: "In the meantime, we strip this ship of any food and water.  Who knows when we can find something decent to kill and cook up."
[10:15:36 PM | Edited 10:16:49 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "We're gonna need a bunch of parts, welding tools and lots of scrap metal to fix this thing, I only hope we're able to find them soon if at all."
[10:17:15 PM | Edited 10:17:24 PM] Schorcht: "Meh, repair, resmair. Let's find the Ebony Kingdom first!" She points to the sky and strikes a pose, her impromtu red medical cape is lightly flapping in the wind.
[10:18:10 PM] Solid Snake: "..."
[10:18:49 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Amber just facehooved as she felt the frustration already setting in. "Ugh."
[10:19:14 PM] Dusk: The griffon smirks as he looks down at Cherry.  "Glad to see someone else in a good mood."
[10:19:36 PM] Fordregha: "...Right...if we find a town, maybe we can trade for tools and such? Or at least figure out where we can scavenge for some?"
[10:19:55 PM] The Custodian: "So.. Likei said twice already... Let us get what we can from the boat and then we can set forth" the alicorn hufs and turns around, no longer wanting to repeat herself
[10:21:32 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "And lock up what we can't bring, the last thing we need are the locals to get any bright ideas and loot the ship."
[10:23:02 PM] Solid Snake: "Soo.. We have to find.....blueprints, that are in a factory, for Mister Silvertongue?" Darling asks, wanting to be a part of the team.
[10:24:29 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: Amber gives a little smile at the filly's deduction. "That's right, and hopefully we can find whatever we need to find to fix the ship in the same location."
[10:25:51 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The wind continues to breeze through peacefully on the beach they were on, with the waves making a calm noise as the group continues to speak to one another.
[10:26:36 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The jungle ahead of them in contrast appeared to give off a rather mysterious and dark feeling aura on it.
[10:27:22 PM | Edited 10:27:25 PM] Solid Snake: Aark gears up, keeping a watchful eye on that damn jungle. He hated this place already.

Darling smiles at Amber.
[10:28:13 PM] Dusk: Dirge goes back into the ship, starting to go through the equipment to find some decent food.  Griffon can't explore on an empty stomach.
[10:28:43 PM] The Custodian: Valliant loots the kitchen, taking all the food
[10:29:28 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "You know, the beach here is beautiful, nice breeze and view." she says looking around. "The water is so clear and blue."
[10:29:39 PM] Schorcht: "I'm just glad I got to drive the boat!"
[10:30:06 PM] TheWanderingZebra: By contrast to the green and radiated water from the Equestrian Wasteland, the water here did look clean.
[10:30:09 PM] Solid Snake: Darlin whispers to Aark, and he rolls his eyes.

"Why didn't you go before??"

She does a little dance, and whines.
[10:30:49 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli steps off the boat and onto the sounds, looking around a little. He mumbles under his breath. "So...Zebrica..."
[10:30:56 PM] Dusk: The griffon frowns as he slaps at Valliant trying to get the food.  "Hey!  We don't need you to eat all this."
[10:32:35 PM] Solid Snake: "I'm gearing up!" he groans, and looks about.
[10:32:49 PM] The Custodian: "Who said i would... Im just gathering it for later"
[10:34:09 PM] Dusk: "Yeah, and I'm Princess Celestia."  Dirge moves to pack up the food carefully.  "Besides, I'm one of the biggest members of this party.  I wouldn't mind being the packmule for a change."
[10:34:36 PM] Schorcht: Cherry takes in the scene with a deep breath and a smile. This new land is glorious.
[10:34:47 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn rolls her eyes and wanders off leaving the griffon with the food
[10:35:12 PM] Solid Snake: "Cherry.. Is that whatcher called?"
[10:37:00 PM] Dusk: Dirge hums as he packs up all the food; he's already hoping that they don't need it, considering the wild animals he was already imagining.  "I wonder if I can find some good-sized radhogs..."

[10:39:10 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli continues trotting around...looking at stuff.

[10:40:25 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Kivuli can take notice of a few large rocks on the beach as well as a few seashells, with some crabs running across the sand away from the invaders (the group).
[10:40:52 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Amber could see that the jungle ahead of them was west.
[10:41:24 PM] Schorcht: "Yes! That's me!~ What's up?" She lands next to Aark.
[10:41:32 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli tilts his head and follows the crabs towards the rocks. "They look like tiny mirelurks..."
[10:42:36 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "Ok, so the jungle ahead of us is West, so our ship landed in the East side of the Island. " "Well, atleast we a clearer way of finding the ship again."
[10:43:26 PM] Solid Snake: Aark scowls. "Dun 'wha's up' ME ya spilt git.." He takes a slow, odd breath. "Darlin's gotta go pee.. Escort her to the bathrum.. Busey gearing up.."
[10:45:13 PM] Schorcht: Cherry nods. "You got it. Come on Darlin, lets do your business behind the boat ok?" She extends a hoof. "Or maybe if the toilets still work inside"
[10:46:26 PM] Dusk: Dirge whistles happily as he looks out from the boat again.  Jungle be damned, he was going to enjoy this!
[10:47:00 PM] Solid Snake: Darling takes Cherrys hoof, Aark watches them while loading bullets into magazines.
[10:48:05 PM] Schorcht: "Yeah, lets see if the boats bathroom still works" Cherry leads Darlin to the lavatories on the boat.
[10:48:48 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli has taken to studying crabs, learning their secrets...he wants to get some butter though he doesn't know why.
[10:49:06 PM] Solid Snake: Darling stands outside the door, looks at it, then at Cherry, back to the door again.
[10:49:29 PM] TheWanderingZebra: One of the crabs seem to stare at Kivuli in the eye, perhaps sharing it's wisdom to the zebra through telepathy ... or simply just gazing at him.
[10:49:48 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli is now in a staring contest with a crab.
[10:50:12 PM] Schorcht: Cherry blinks. "What?..."
[10:51:18 PM] Solid Snake: "Oh, r- right, s- sorry." She enters the door, to do her business.
[10:52:25 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Savenging around the boat could Valiant find a Spark Battery, a Leather belt, a Paint gun, a Lunchbox, a Jar of Rifle Powder (200), 4 healing potions, and a Med-x.
[10:52:56 PM] The Custodian: The alicorn floats them all onto the beach "Take what you want..."
[10:53:08 PM] Schorcht: Cherry scrunches her face. "You going to be ok in there?...."
[10:53:46 PM] Dusk: Dirge lets out a low whistle as he takes a healing potion.  Just in case his stump decided to seep out blood.
[10:54:42 PM] Solid Snake: "Fine~"
[10:56:55 PM] Schorcht: "You.... you know how to use the toilet right?..." Cherry feels a little awkard, never has she actually been around a foal this long.
[10:57:38 PM] Solid Snake: "Uhuh!" The door opens and she steps out.
[10:58:15 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli lost his staring contest. He deals with this fact by trying to catch the crab, using his cloak as a sort of net.
[10:58:46 PM | Edited 10:58:53 PM] Schorcht: Cherry takes a step back. "Sorry... I was... nevermind, it seems you're all done now"
[10:58:54 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The crab is caught! He silently begs for his release by Kivuli!
[10:59:41 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli is moderately pleased with his sucess. He carries the crab back to the area the others are in.
[11:01:26 PM] Solid Snake: "Uhuh!"
[11:01:45 PM] Solid Snake: "Sorry that Papa was watching you.."
[11:01:46 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The crab to have given up all hopes of being reunited with his family, and accepts whatever fate Kivuli has in stores for him.
[11:02:58 PM] Schorcht: "He what now?" Cherry looks around. "Really?... He doesn't even trust anyone to take some on to the bathroom? I didn't even notice him.."
[11:03:02 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli sets the cloak down and sits beside it.
[11:04:30 PM] Dusk: Dirge checks his packs carefully, before sitting next to the zebra, Kivuli.  "So...know anything about jungles?  Maybe something passed down through stories?"
[11:04:44 PM] Solid Snake: She shrugs.
[11:05:00 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli opens the crab net to see what it does. "I don't know anything about this land at all."
[11:05:05 PM] TheWanderingZebra: Sprocket hovers near Cherry, not really doing much else.
[11:05:45 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The crab appears to understand Kivuli's predicament with a nod. It doesn't really do much else.
[11:06:22 PM] Fordregha: Kivuli nods back at the crab.
[11:07:09 PM] Schorcht: Cherry shakes her head with a smile extending her hoof. "Come on now, I'm sure he's waiting for us"
[11:07:59 PM] Dusk: Dirge looks over at the crab.  "What is that?  Some sort of bug?"
[11:08:29 PM] Fordregha: "No idea. They're all over the beach. Pretty easy to catch too."
[11:09:37 PM] Dusk: "Huh..."  Dirge pokes out a claw to touch the crab.  "I wonder if you can eat them?"
[11:10:33 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The crab appeared enraged at this suggestion and pinched Dirge with it's pinchers.
[11:10:50 PM] Fordregha: "I don't think it liked your question."
[11:11:34 PM] Dusk: Dirge blinks as he lifts up the crab with his claw, looking at it intently.  "Too bad for him."
[11:11:37 PM] Solid Snake: Darling takes Cherrys hoof again
[11:11:45 PM] Schorcht: Cherry returns Darlin to Aark. "All done! Now lets hit this... umm... large group of trees!" She blinks. "And when I say hit, I mean explore!"
[11:12:04 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The crab begged for his life silently at Dirge.
[11:12:09 PM] Fordregha: "What, it hurt enough to deserve death?"
[11:12:12 PM] Solid Snake: Aark just grunts in confrmation
[11:12:43 PM] HoloDiskJockey F.: "If you all are done, maybe we could get started on heading out now?" she calls out to the others. She had her saddlebags and rifle ready to go.
[11:13:14 PM] Dusk: "Nah, I just don't care for his opinion."  The griffon sets the crab down.  "Then again, I'm sure I can find something bigger in the jungle."
[11:13:37 PM] TheWanderingZebra: The crab makes his chance and runs away as fast as it can to it's friends!
[11:13:45 PM] Fordregha: "I'm sure. I'm sure we'll also be more justified in killing them."
[11:13:46 PM] The Custodian: "I agree. Enough wasting time. Theres more than enough daylight to explore and get an idea about our surroundings"
[11:14:08 PM | Edited 11:14:31 PM] Dusk: "Yeah, yeah.  I've been telling you that since the beginning!"  Dirge grumbles at the alicorn.  What a weirdo...
[11:16:57 PM] TheWanderingZebra: And so, our heroes have made it to Zebrica for adventure. But what they don't realize is that they've gotten themselves into something far bigger. Big enough to turn their joy into devastation the moment they enter that jungle. Will our heroes prevail and find the Ebony Kingdom? I guess we'll wait to see then.
