  1. CURRENT UPDATES:
  2. Hello everyone! So nothing crazy to update you with this time, but this is what i've been up to:
  3.
  4. - Dice Dueling is a lot more fair now! So when you set up a dice duel, it essentially sets up a match that your opponent can accept. Should they choose to accept, using the !accept command, the match will roll for both of you. The odds are the same regardless of player, and since neither player knows what's been rolled, it makes it more fair. Shoutout to Doopian for the idea!
  5.
  6. - Twitch Hot Cold is now FIXED! There was one scenario that I hadn't accounted for, which has been added in now. Should work perfectly!
  7.
  8. - I cut down on some of the bot text. This was done in hopes of reducing bot spam.
  9.
  10. - The bot can send whispers! It is important that you allow whispers, or certain messages won't go through. If you only want friends to whisper you, I will check the bot account daily and accept any friend request I get, just to make sure everyone can receive whispers from the bot. This was also do to reduce bot spam in the chat.
  11.
  12. That's really about it! Thanks for reading!
  13.
  14. - Brad

  17. OLD UPDATES:
  18. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
  19. Hello! I've been a bit busy with a few things in preparation for streaming part time again, and I figured i'd go ahead and update you guys with what i've done:
  20.
  21. - Added two sub emotes! bradmaWow and bradmaKool have been approved and are ready to go! bradmaWow is a $4.99 sub emote, as I feel it'll be used more often. I still need to come up with a $24.99 sub emote, and I want it to be something really good. I'm open to ideas! If you have one, or maybe even want to design it (I'm a terrible artist), please, feel free!
  22.
  23. - Updated my song list. Pretty much every playable song I have (as in, songs I don't mind being requested) has been added to the request system as well as the everything file. I also went through and removed songs from the everything file that were songs I removed from the game and just forgot to take out of the file. !random still might pull some of these (i'll fix this later), so if that happens, i'll just change the song to something different
  24.
  25. - Going off of that last point: Because I am busy with school and other things in my life, some of what i've done was...more or less lazy of me, and for that I apologize. What i'm referring to is index numbers 777777 and 888888. These correspond to any song off of the Rock Band 2 and Carpel Tunnel Hero 1 setlists respectively. Choosing to request either number means you can tell me any song off those setlists you'd like me to play when your request comes up. I will eventually migrate all those songs over, but since it's over 160 combined songs, it's more work than I want to put in right now, and this is a fine temporary solution.
  26.
  27. - Bought back the scrolling text at the top right corner of the stream that details the name of the song currently playing. Modified it a bit so that if requests are off, it'll say so. I do hope to eventually change this to display the currently played so no matter what, but I haven't implemented that just yet. I've talked to a couple people on how I could go about that a few months back, and I may re-visit that soon.
  28.
  29. - Twitch Hot Cold has been brought back. Questing is no longer going to be in development until I move to a different programming language. I've really been enjoying Java as of late, and am learning new things about it all the time, so this could be the language I migrate my code over to in the coming months. We'll see!
  30.
  31. - A few viewers bcoins were modified to show what the had before they changed their name, and I added a section involving name changing in the everything file that I would HIGHLY suggest anyone look at if they've changed their name, or are considering it in the near future.
  32.
  33. - Added a schedule! I'll be posting on discord a link to this, as well as the future schedule for all to see.
  34.
  35.
  36. I think that's all for now! I'll update this file again in the future if anything major is done to help improve the stream experience!
  37.
  38. See you all on Twitch!
  39.
  40. - Brad

  42. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
  43. Hey guys! So, i've been incredibly busy with the bot the past few weeks, and i've finished almost everything that needs to be done! Considering i've done a lot of things, I figured i'd share with you all everything i've done up to this point, and what still needs to be done. With that said, here's what i've done:
  44.
  45. - I have increased the Hall of Awesome requirement to 4,000,000 bcoins. I did so because earning bcoins has become a little easier (i'll explain in just a few sentences down). There are some people in the HOA that are below 4,000,000, but are of course above 2,000,000. I grandfathered them into the new system, so if you're reading this and are in the HOA but below 4,000,000, fear not! You're in forever :)
  46.
  47. - I made the slots a LOT more winnable. Basically, anytime you match up 2 like items, you'll win 2,000 bcoins. Now, the old jackpots still exist, and still have the same odds as before, but now people can win much more frequently.
  48.
  49. - I have increased the max jackpot for the Dice Dueling to 20,000 bcoins, meaning you can bet up to 10,000 bcoins now!
  50.
  51. - I have added a new command called !random. This will allow you to pick a random song from the songlist and add it to the queue, but there is a risk involved: For normal viewers, there is a 10% chance you'll get timed out for 10 minutes, and for mods, there's a 10% chance you'll not be allowed to request songs for 10 minutes. It's a fun command that my moderator Kanoha92 thought of, but be careful using it!
  52.
  53. - The queue now will display what line number any given song is on. I did this to make song changing easier, and so that everyone can see exactly how many songs are on the queue at any given time.
  54.
  55. - I added scrolling text to the top right of the stream that shows the current song playing. I've always wanted to do this, and this way people don't have to ask what's currently playing (for the most part. If i'm not taking requests people will still probably need to ask).
  56.
  57. - There's a new chat interface, so the overall stream looks much nicer now.
  58.
  59. - Added a discord server, so anyone from the stream can talk to myself and others outside of the stream.
  60.
  61. - Put virtually anything anyone needs to know about the stream into one pastebin document. This can be found by typing in !everything
  62.
  63. That should be it! Now, here's what still needs to be done:
  64.
  65. - I still need to fix some offsets of new setlists i've added recently, and get them added to the request system
  66.
  67. - I need to fix the !find command so literally everything I have can be found. Some songs as of now can't be found
  68.
  69. - I need to finish the new in channel game. It's going to be called Questing, and hopefully I can get that done soon.
  70.
  71.
  72. So that's all I needed to type out! I hope you guys like these changes, and I hope to get the other things done soon!
  73.
  74. cheers,
  75.
  76. Brad
