Many groups will have this fully cleared before the month is up and if your sole motivation to play this game is running difficult content then you're going to get bored pretty quickly.  So I can see the point of view of those that do go a bit harder on this content.  I mean A9S was cleared within 2 hours? which is about average raid time for most groups not shooting to clear before anyone else.

Midas wasn't a terrible raid tier, nor was Gordias for that matter.  The biggest issue was the actual midcore raiding population~ Attitudes would always flare when someones inflated self worth came crashing down and they realized they needed to improve.  People stopped trying to have fun and/or improve and instead spent more time trying to make themselves feel better by putting others down.  I mean you can say this about all raid tiers to an extent but it started becoming extremely prevalent post FCOB. It became very hard to clear content regardless of skill level, because of that social infection.  I ended up being in a group that collapsed during A3S, attitudes just became toxic.  It was absolutely disgusting to watch unfold.  But I mean where there is a will, there is a way always.

This game teaches you to put forth the minimum effort possible to clear content, such that when you actually start progressing in content that requires a bit more focus and dedication it can be a jarring experience for many people.  I believe there are two ways to remedy this and one would be to make Primal Ex's part of Duty Finder upon release.  This would let people wet their feet with the more difficult content without having the same pressure and/or requirements of a party finder group.  Extreme primals have a just right difficulty, in that you can easily clear them but they require a bit more technical prowess and mechanics mastery then any other content in the game prior to raids.  The second is obv going the Heroic/Mythic route of WoW which would actually be immensely fun in 4 man dungeons.  We don't have any light party content that is challenging in this game~
