Tim Mayworm, a social worker of Journey House in Sacramento asked us to give a recommendation for David Griffin, an 18 years old boy who actually stays there. Course of a burglary he did , he has to stay in the foster care system until he finish high school. His last High school kicked him out. David was in the foster care system almost all his life. Different therapists diagnosed, amongst others, ADHS and ADD. David told us in an interview that he is a drug addict. Its not clear what kind of drugs he is taking. His social contacts consists of many drug users in Sacramento but he also has contact with his foster parents. David told that he is not proud of his life right know.

Recommendations:

→ 	First, its important to check out which kind of drugs he is using. If there is a body 	addiction, he needs to get clean before anything else can happen.

→ 	David needs an empowerment and he needs to develop some goals in his life. For this i 	would 	recommend a therapy focused on conversation, not on medication.

→ 	It is sure that David needs a change of his environment. Cause of this, i recommend to find a 	new school and a new home, in a different city or town, for him.

→ 	If it is possible, it would be good to find a social project where David can work, take 	responsibility,  and go to high school at the same time.
