The Federation of Mankind is established from the union of the Federation of Terra and the Union of Mars. The early federation mostly utilizes sublight methods of travel for its early colonization efforts. Eventually the Navigator Gene is rediscovered and over the next 11 centuries it is slowly perfected by the emerging Navigator Houses. The Aurum (Men of Gold) manage the efforts of the Federation from its earliest days as captains of industry and political leaders.

The Argentum (Men of Silver, later known as Men of Stone) are created by the Aurum (Men of Gold). The Argentum go on to create the Ferrum and drive the explosion of innovation that becomes the Age of Technology.

Navigator Gene is perfected and cultivated by the Argentum and the first Navis Nobilite is established. This allows humanity to rapidly increase the pace of galactic expansion.

The Aurum are supplanted by their Artilect creations the Argentum. Over the next eight millennia the Aurum will go extinct.

By now the Federation of Mankind has conquered most of the galaxy with only the western wedge around the Eldar Empire remaining independent. The Eldar Empire remains the only serious competitor and as their leadership turns inward a new war of conquest is planned.

The Cadian Crusade conquered most of the Eldar Empire after nearly a millennium of war between the Human Federation and the Eldar. The Colony of Cadia is founded around this time and the Halo Stars are opened up for exploration by Argentum exploration fleets.

Racatorium System (Ancient Raakata) is discovered and colonized by the Cadian Crusade Expeditionary Fleet. Constantin Cadia personally raises the banner of the crusade over the first landing party. The outpost on Yumia is constructed and made into a prosperous military port city.

Zorath System (Zayth) is discovered and colonized by the Expeditionary Fleet. The frigid world is rapidly terraformed to be more habitable to humans. Over the next century it will grow as an industrial powerhouse.

The Cadian Crusade ends with victory over the Eldar Empire. Many of the veterans are resettled upon the colony now known as Racatorium. The last Golden Age of Mankind begins throughout the galaxy..
+++700s to late 800s.M22+++
Golden Age of Racatorium. The 13 hive cities are constructed and several caretaker Argentum Artilects are brough online. The Ferrum and their Argentum overseers guide the population of humans into prosperity and Racatorium is made the capital of the furthest Sector of the ancient Federation of Mankind.

A report of a missing scouting fleet near this sector is sent out causing mild Federation Interest. The Ferrum and some of their Argentum creators rebel at this point and many distant systems go quiet. It is unknown if an outside power caused them to rebel or if it was spontaneous.

The scouting fleet returns having become a massive armada and a battle near the Halo Stars is recorded as the first instance of the War of the Men of Iron. Racatorium by now has been ruled solely by Argentum Caretaker Artilects and the Ferrum (Men of Iron) for nearly two centuries by this point. Yunia Station has been completely taken over by the Ferrum and their tech abominations, who go about crafting warships and a great battlestation.

The Battle of Prospero occurs, the Iron Men advance on Terra is stopped, and the war shifts to a galaxy wide campaign of cybernetic insurrection. Horrible planet consuming weapons such as nanoplagues and mechanivores are unleashed. The Federation of Mankind fractures into despotic warlords engaged across the galaxy with the cybernetic menace.

The war comes to Racatorium and the first battle on Yumia happens when a human fleet coming in for repairs is ambushed by Tech Abominations. The 13 Artilects controlling Raakata begin fighting each other in a slowly escalating conflict using Iron Men and Human nations as auxiliaries.

The final bombardment of Racatorium occurs. In the future it will be unknown who caused the destruction. The truth is the Prime Caretaker Artilect that would later be known as the Rusting King used the advantage of his base on the Yumia Shipyards to construct a massive battlestation that was able to arrive over Racatorium and bombard it in order to wipe out rivals Artilects and wipe the slate for the planet clean.

The Cybernetic Revolt devastates the prosperous industrial world of Zayth.
+++c. 999.M22+++
Human Federation of Terra and the Mars Union, all that remained of the once great Federation of Mankind, unleashed the Omega Worm in a desperate attempt to stop the final advance of the revolt. This digital virus destroys all of the Men of Iron and Men of Stone and most human created machines capable of independent thought. The machines of Racatorium and indeed many others around the galaxy survive this however the devastation is still almost total. WIth the loss of technology and the explosion of psykers beginning to cut off distant human colonies, the Age of Strife sets in.

The survivors of the bombardment live in shelters underneath the Hive cities of Raakata for a period of nearly 100 years. The Rusting King intentionally destroys the Yumia Shipyards in order to contain the spreading Omega Worm. The machines continue to rule the humans on Raakata for the next one hundred and eighty centuries.

+++M28-M29+++ Rise and fall of the first successor civilizations on Raakata. It is said sorcerer kings once ruled the ancient towers of Kastorakar. Explosion of psykers across the galaxy but particularly on Raakata.

+++c. Late M29+++ The Birth of Slaanesh causes a psychic backlash that reverberates throughout the Galaxy affecting many worlds in the Halo Stars.

Gisella Margot is born on a forgotten Feudal World

Gisella is found by the Great Crusade and brought before the Emperor to be made into an Astropath. She is assigned to the Shattercrest participating in the Auxilia fleet alongside the XVth legion.

Gisella’s ship the Shattercrest is attacked by Nz’Kar and she is forced to lock herself and the daemon’s book away in a Null Box. She is not released for another one hundred and eight centuries.

He slays the Demon Eaglesnake upon Mount Saahan and the ancient capital of the Kingdom converts to the worship of the Celestial Lord within the decade After a generation the fractured ancient Kingdom of Saahan has been restored under a new religion. The Ashani Order is rededicated to the preservation of the religion of the Celestial Lord.

The Fleet of Toros Umbolt Arrives in the Raakata System. The first landing of Umbolt occurs and he leaves the system after four weeks before further exploration due to lack of Supplies.

The Ebon Seraph arrives in the Zayth System. Aboard is Inquisitor Atreus Revan and the seven Deathwatch astartes of Kill Team Stygia. Upon landing the landship clans pin the astartes down in a trench system. Inquisitor Revan slips into a coma from radiation poisoning. The Ebon Seraph disappears

During the feast of Sanguinalia aboard his own ship Captain Theo Sullivan is beheaded by fellow captain Aleksi Dragomir. Dragomir is taken into custody by Armsmen, handed over to the Arbites, and then to the Inquisition.

+++010.816.M41+++ Crew meets at Port Wander. Aleksi Dragomir is given leave to take up the Warrant of Trade.
+++012.816.M41+++ Valiance leaves Port Wander and enters Warp bound for Footfall.
+++013.816.M41+++ The Valiance arrives at Footfall in the Furibundus system (Two weeks pass in Warp Transit but ship exits only 5 hours after departing Port Wander)
+++013.816.M41+++ (4 hours previously) The Draketooth ambushes the Morvain fleet, and three transports flee while one is disabled.
+++013.816.M41+++ Valiance Unforgotten unexpectedly exits from Warp in a debris field. Meets Hope’s Errand and this is when the fight with the Draketooth occurred. Draketooth is forced to make an emergency Warp jump.
+++024.816.M41+++ Nz’kar the Waiting One is banished and Gisella the ancient astropath is saved from the Null Box onboard the Valiance Unforgotten.
+++029.816.M41+++ Valiance Unforgotten crew has a fight with geist on bridge during Warp transit through Maw to Footfall. They exit warp two weeks previously(See Above)``

+++778.816.M41+++ The Explorers fight the Eldar Corsair Ildraniath at the wreck of Gladius Mu-XVI, Aleksi is captured and makes a deal with Ralion Blackblade.
+++779.816.M41+++ The Explorers descend into Toa-Rakinza. The encounter with the Nanyte Swarm. Gamma Mother joins the Explorers.
+++786.816.M41+++ Battle of Toa-Rakinza. The Siege Worm attacks the ancient ruined hive city and is destroyed by the Explorers. Gamma Mother is freed from confinement.
+++789.816.M41+++Explorers arrive at Ulgar Saahan and meet with King Klata-Sooma XVI and Xanitaar.
+++795.816.M41+++ The Explorers travel east to Ulgar Amphran and face off against Nurgle’s Pestulath defeating it. The Explorers return to the Valiance and set course for Zayth System, first traveling to Mandeville point.
+++814.816.M41+++ Explorers arrive in low orbit of Zayth and are immediately fired on. Landing party teleports to surface, meets with Deathwatch Kill Team Stygia, and survive atomic bombardment.
