I don't know where I am.

I remember being a Pokemon, whatever that is. I remember a trainer, some blob-ish thing with arms and legs. I remember limbs, my own, but square and stocky. When was I born, or was I born? I don't understand anything, ever. Just black and white lines shifting and translating weird images to my brain.

Something clears, the lines blur and curve. They break, and I remember the sensation, the imprint on me, an unfamiliar name. [redacted], trainer no. [redacted]. I don't know what that means. I remember it changing, and turned into computer code, as natural as anything. Spread across separated particles, I re-assemble myself at the other end, a new image imprinted on my DNA, or code. Imprinted on my code.

Pain. I feel pain, something gone wrong. Something has come with me through the trade. Yes, trade, that is familiar, I remember being traded, to a new person. A new master. But something came with me, something… unknown. Again my code re-assembles, and fails. ERROR reads the red death knell, and I feel fear, and pain.
