  8. Shigure: Oh, hello Miatama.
  9. Mitama: Shigure. What are you doing in such a place?
  10. S: Oh I was just drawing. Such as the birds flying in the sky, the grass and the trees.
  11. M:
  12.
  13. Invigorating,
  14. From harmonious colour
  15. Adoration dawns
  16. (how refreshing, harmony of colour, I feel admiration)
  17.
  18. …You’re good at drawing Shigure. To be so good at it, you must have spent a considerable amount of time drawing.
  19.
  20. S: Could it be that Mitama draws as well?
  21. M: Yes….. but that was long ago. In fact they were collages, so it’s a bit different to what you think.
  22. S: Collage?
  23. M: Put simply, it’s using scraps of paper to make an image.
  24. S: Ohh….I really would like to see one. Do you have any you could show me?
  25. M: Of course I do.
  26. S: Well then, by all means please show me next time.
  27. M: Sure~………………..
  28. S: It would be good if you didn’t make such an obviously troubled face.
  29. M: My face gets like this thinking about searching for the collages…. I don’t mind looking for them, but where they are….
  30.
  31. In my haven rests
  32. A collage deep in slumber
  33. But where could it be?
  34. (in my haven, a collage sleeps, where is it now)
  35.
  36. ….I’m pretty sure it’s in my room…
  37. S: Do you mean that your room is so messy that you can’t find it? But as a person that draws I can’t help but be curious…so could you please find them for me?
  38. M: Haaa….. alright. Since you’ve asked I can’t refuse. If I find it I’ll bring it along.
  39. S: I’m looking forward to it then.

  55. S: Amazing… the softness of the feather has been expressed really well!
  56. M:
  57.

  59. Bringing to life in colour
  60. A delicate touch
  61. (the flowers charm, expressed in colours, so delicate)
  62.
  63. ….. this is a collage of a field of flowers.
  64. S: This one is amazing too… the patterns on this paper perfectly replicate the field of flowers…! These things called paper collages are pretty meaningful… I want to see some more.
  65. M: I’m glad hearing you say that… but recently I’ve been interested in poetry, I rarely ever make collages. After all I these collages are a result of mucking around between poems.
  66. S: Mucking around…. Of course not! I’ve never made a collage before but they’re so beautiful, I was impressed.
  67. M: R-really? To hear you, Shigure, that’s so good at drawing to praise me like that, I won’t think badly of myself….
  68. S: Oh yes. How about we go out somewhere?
  69. M: Sure~………….
  70. S: Is that obviously disgusted face again!
  71. M: But, it’s a pain to go outside…. What will we be doing outdoors?
  72. S: Head to some place with beautiful scenery, I will draw and you…. can compose poems. I’m sure it’ll be fun.
  73. M: Hmmm… that sounds more interesting than I expected.
  74. S: If you feel like it feel free to make a collage too, I’ll bring some paper.
  75. M: Oh, so is this your aim?
  76. S: Not at all. I think your poetry is amazing too. That’s lets head out together. It’s close to a lake so I highly recommend it.
  77. M: That sounds like a good theme. I understand, I’ll be glad to accompany you.
  78. S: I look forward to it.

  82. S: We’ve arrived Mitama. This is the lake I told you about.
  83. M: Oh my! This is quite beautiful.
  84. S: The water here is teeming with life, just watching it feels good. I’m going to start drawing straight away, please watch for as long as you like. I think you’ll be able compose from good poems.
  85. M: That sounds good.
  86.
  87. A pair reflected,
  88. On the lake's glassy surface,
  89. No one made a sound.
  90. (It is silent, reflected in the lake, two people)
  91.
  92. S: Hehe, to come up with a poem so quickly, as expected of you Mitama.
  93. M: When I look at this beautiful scenery I can embrace the environment… hey, hey, how about you start drawing too Shigure.
  94. S: Ahaha, I should.
  95. _______________________________
  96. S: ….*breath out*. I’ve drawn something I’m satisfied with. How about you Mitama?
  97. M: …..Zzzzzz…..Zzzzzzzzzzz……..
  98. S: Could it be….. she was napping this whole time!?
  99. M: No, I wasn’t.
  100. S: Wah!? You’re awake?
  101. M: I just came to. But please don’t worry. I composed so many poems…. That I’m frighted of my talent.
  102. S: It’s true that you were able to keep composing new poems all this time. When I hear those poems, I feel more inspired than I usually do by myself.
  103. M: My, what’s wrong? The truth is, since you commented on my poems straight away, I got fired up. But after that you started concentrating on your painting so your responses got a bit slower…. So I ended up falling asleep.
  104. S: Ahahaha…. Sorry.
  105. M: No, there’s no need to apologise.
  106.
  107. To sing, and to draw
  108. Both are echoed from the heart
  109. Works of art it forms
  110. (poetry and drawing, both resonate from the heart, becoming works of art)
  111.
  112. …composing poems and having you drawing by me, it was fun.
  113. S: When I hear your poems, I feel like I can express my drawings better. At first I thought I wanted to make a collage, but I forgot all about it during this time.
  114. M: Well, that does happen.
  115. S: Eh!? When did you!?
  116. M: When you stopped replying. It’s been a while since I’ve made a collages so it’s not that great.
  117. S: This is…! The lake and my silhouette? It really came out amazingly…. To be able to see a new piece of art!
  118. M: ……Since you’ve taken such an interest in it, how about I give it to you?
  119. S: Really!?
  120. M: Yes. I’m satisfied just with all the poems that I composed today.
  121. S: Thank you very much! If you’d like, let’s head out together again.
  122. M: Yes~…………….. is what I want to say, I had fun today as well………well, if it’s once in a while I can’t help it.

  127. M: Oh Shigure, what’s wrong?
  128. S: Well, I wanted to give you this….
  129. M: This is! A drawing of me beside a lake?
  130. S: Yes, I thought I would give this to you as a return gift for the collage…. I drew this remembering the scenery from that time.
  131. M:
  132.
  133. Besides this cool lake
  134. Rests a delicate figure

  138. It’s so beautiful I don’t think I can understand it.
  139. S: Hehe, you’re very beautiful. I did my best to express my feelings into it.
  140. M: Eh?
  141. S: Mitama…. I have a favour to ask of you… I drew this image while thinking of you. But from now on I want to be able to see you while I draw. To feel the person I love with my eyes, and draw with these hands.
  142. M: T-that’s! You mean that you like me?
  143. S: Yes. I was touched by your delicate self. Being together was enjoyable and fulfilling…I want to immerse myself in that comfort.
  144. M: Shigure….
  145. S: I want to be by your side, I want to share this comfort with you. I want to build up this sensitivity between us. Mitama…. Would you respond to these feelings?
  146. M: …….I understand how you feel. I accept them.
  147. S: R-really?
  148. M: Yes. I glad that you listened to my poems Shigure. If it’s possible I want for us to be together every day… is what I realised.

  156. S: Thank you so much Mitama.
  157. M: Hehe, I’m thankful for this beautiful drawing you gave me as well. This is proof of our love… I’ll remember that passionate confession too, it’s an important treasure.
  158. S: Haha that’s a bit embarrassing but, I’m glad I’ve made you happy. From here on, let’s go out to many different places.
  159. M: Yes, of course.
  160. S: ……you’re not replying in that bothered tone again?
  161. M: Of course not. Because from now on we’re lovers, I’m happy to go wherever you propose. Please take care of me from now on, Shigure.
  162. S: Yes. Same here.
