My Littlest Echo - Part 5

The day came and gone, but finally Damian got some well deserved rest at around six o'clock. Jicks figured it was time to stop for the day. After all of that training, Damian just wanted to go to bed. Before they went back inside, Jicks asked Damian something important.

Jicks : Hey kid. Do you know who your mother was?
Damian : Yeah, she was my mommy! That's a silly question.
Jicks : No, no, no. I mean like her identity, name and such.
Damian : Well my father use to call her his little marshmallow butt bouncer.

Jicks gave out a deep sigh and shook his head slowly. He proceeded to walk up to Damian and put his hand on his forehead. Jicks closed his eyes and began to take heavy breathes. In Jicks' mind, he began to see little Damian's past before him, every bit of it, from him getting spiffy in a dress by his mother, all the way to his father Snoop getting Damian his first tattoo on his butt crack that said 'Mama's Boy'.

It became apparent who his mother was after seeing her figure in the memories of Damian. She wasn't even a being from Earth. Noboma was from the planet ₱ȝהּ∆ӷᴟԄ ẊƏЯέϾᵀǀᵹȠᴤ or more commonly Pe'nalia Zerecton in English. This was quite baffling to Jicks because he thought all of the inhabitants of that planet died off hundreds of years ago by the all powerful beast Sonnitudius who eradicated the planet with his mighty Meteor Smash in one blow. It was a good thing some must have escaped the blast, as these beings hold unique powers within their horns. It was strange Damian did not have horns though. Jicks figured it was because he was still rather young. He was confident his training would make the growth of his horns speed up.

Jicks came back to reality once more as he snapped out of Damian's mind.  The two headed back inside.  They began to hear a strange noise as they walked down the stairs back to the lounge.  They could hardly believe what they saw when they finally entered. Telio was rubbing his pendulum against the water heater. It was quite odd for a machine to be attracted ever so to heat. The two sort of shrugged it off and didn't disturb the poor thing.

Lake : Come and get it piggy piggys. Time for some good ol' fashioned grubbing!

Lake seemed to be a wonderful cook. He prepared a wonderful arranged meal consisting of blue foods and apples. It looked quite exotic. It looked as if everyone had already started filling their face before the two came down. Damian was sure to catch up. He was the one that was always hungry in his home.

Jicks : Hey Lake, have you seen Lily?
Lake : No I haven't. Last I heard from her, she went outside for some good ol' air.
Jicks : She's probably just feeling under the weather then.
Lake : How did the training go with rollie pollie over there?
Jicks : Oh he did fine. He'll need a lot of work to get any wheres close to unlocking his potential.
Sasquatch : I was watching you two train. (Sasquatch seemed to pause)
Jicks : And?
Sasquatch : Oh nothing really. I was just watching you two up there.

Everyone seemed to get filled up after that feast.

Telio : Nine o'clock! Nine o'clock! Ding, ding, ding!

The hours went by and Jicks began to get worried about Lily. He decided to check on her outside. When he got out there he couldn't see any sign of Lily. He began to call out her name. He could faintly hear a voice in the alley way. He was horrified what he had saw. Lily was laying on the ground with blood soaked clothes. Jicks quickly picked her up and ran back in the building. Telio helped him patch up her side that looked as if it was punctured. It was so strange what happened. The only thing they could do was wait for Lily to wake up out of her fainted state to ask her what went on. Jicks was sure this had something to do with their operation they had going on against the king.

Jicks : I can't believe anyone would do such a thing to Lily. Whoever did this will pay dearly for their actions.
Telio : Vital signs seem to be stable.

Damian was nicely tucked in bed as all of this was happening. He seemed to have pleasant dreams. He was soaring in the air with a cape around his neck, zapping everything in site. Shortly after he reached King Tsyremy's castle and punched a hole through it. There he saw King Tsyremy, Snoop, and Sasquatch? This sweet dream started becoming a nightmare real quick. It looked as if the evil King Tsyremy was forcing Snoop and Sasquatch to make out with each other. What a sight in little Damian's mind. His father was cheating on his dead mother with a hairy beast he hardly knew. King Tsyremy was laughing and smiling during the whole event and his pants even began to grow a large poll out from it as he watched the event take place. With that, Damian's muscles began to deflate and shrivel up.

Damian quickly woke up and started breathing heavy as looked over to the side of him. It was only Sasquatch keeping him company as he slept. Damian felt much better after knowing he was safe. Damian got up regardless of the time. It looked a little earlier than last time as the sun was still coming up. Damian quickly got dressed in his leotard and ran up to the roof to continue where his training left off. As Damian trains vigorously to hone his skills, what lies ahead in his adventure? What happened to Lily outside? How come Sasquatch was in Damian's dream? Why does Sasquatch still walk funny? Tune in next time. Same bat time, same bat chapter.
