Chapter 12: The Magical Girl In You


☆ Wedin (3 hours and 40 minutes remaining)

“Even if I can’t win, I’m going to do it anyway.”
「就算赢不了，我也要硬著头皮做。」

7753 took Mana’s hand.
7753拉起麻奈的手。

“I’m staying too.”
「我也要留下来。」

“I thought I told you not to get in my way!”
「我明明警告过你，别再妨碍我！」

Mana shook 7753’s hand off.
麻奈立刻甩开7753的手。

“I won’t.”
「我不会妨碍你。」

“You’re interfering with me just by being here!”
「光是待在这裡，就是在妨碍我！」

Mana was serious. She was not being hypocritical; she sincerely intended to clear this whole mess up by herself.
麻奈是认真的，并不是伪善，而是真心打算独自收拾残局。

Wedin’s thoughts and emotions whirled inside her like a maelstrom. Not long before, Wedin had screamed and shouted with no regard for her image, loudly cursing the Land of Magic, Mana and 7753.
誓约薇汀的思绪与感情，彷彿漩涡般转呀转地转个不停。就在刚才不久前，誓约薇汀还曾经不顾形象地乱吼乱叫，对「魔法王国」、对7753与麻奈破口大骂。

Even if she had vented all her anger, the things in her mind had not vanished. More to the point, Wedin was clearly aware that everything she had said just now could be applied to her as well. If Magical Girls did not deserve to be admired, then she would simply have to set a better example. Wedin was a Magical Girl, after all.
即使她将所有的愤怒都发洩出来，沉淀在脑袋裡的物质也没有消失。更何况，誓约薇汀非常清楚刚才所说的一切也可以套用在自己身上。既然魔法少女不够格受人憧景，只要她自己以身作则就行了。因为誓约薇汀本身也是魔法少女。

“In that case… at least let me lend you a hand.”
「既然如此……至少让我们也助你一臂之力吧。」

The words poured out of Wedin’s mouth. She had meant them, but she could not help breaking out in a cold sweat once they were spoken
话语从誓约薇汀嘴裡轻泻而出。虽然她是真心的，但话一说出口，仍然免不了冷汗直流。

Mana shook her head.
麻奈摇了摇头。

“Rookies who are little stronger than normal human beings will only get in my way, no matter how many of them there are.”
「只比一般人强不了多少的菜鸟，不管聚集几个人都只会碍手碍脚而已。」

“Please do not underestimate us.”
「请你别瞧不起人。」

“I am not underestimating you. It is the simple truth.”
「我并没有瞧不起你，这是无庸置疑的事实。」

This city was going to be destroyed. Her ten-odd years spent here were all going to vanish.
这座城镇就要被摧毁了，十几年来累积在这裡的一切就要消失了。

The classmates she had tutored with homework, the homeroom teacher who held Mine in high esteem, the classmates who had called her a “GPA chaser” behind her back, the school, everything would disappear. The granny who had praised her the same way since kindergarten, “What an amazing child, greeting people with such energy”, the children’s park with the ladder where she had caused a great disturbance when she bumped her head there, the library cubicles where she went to be alone, Mine’s home, all of those were going to disappear.
她帮忙指导课业的同班同学、对美祢有著极高评价的级任导师、在私底下骂她是分数搜刮机的同学、学校，所有的一切都会消失不见。从就读幼稚园开始，每次都会用一样的话来夸奖她，
「这么活力充沛地向人打招呼，这孩子真是了不起呀」的邻居阿婆、小时候曾经撞到头而引起一阵大骚动的附设爬梯的儿童公圔、想要自己独处时所使用的附设包厢的图书馆、美祢的家，一切都会消失不见。

Fleeing when she knew what she should do and what she could do was not what a class rep would be doing, and neither was it what the Magical Girls she had always admired would do. After graduating to middle school, watching anime was the sole hobby she could not break, because there were Magical Girls in there. And now, Magical Girls existed. They were right here.
在明知自己应该做什么事，与能够办到什么事情的情况下逃跑，绝对不是身为一名队长会做的事情，也不是她一直憧景的魔法少女会做的事情。在升上国中后，唯独看动画是她怎么样也割捨不了的嗜好，因为那裡面有著魔法少女。如今魔法少女仍然存在，就在这裡。

Wedin turned her head around.
誓约薇汀转过头去。

Funny Trick was crying and whimpering as her shoulders trembled. Kurukuru-hime had a blank look on her face, at a complete loss. Wedin could issue them an order -- follow me, fight with me, only we Magical Girls can save our city. Doing so would mean telling them to go to Hell with her.
惊喜魔技正哭哭啼啼地颤抖著肩膀，转转姬则是茫然若失地陷入呆滞状态。誓约薇汀可以对这两人下达命令——跟随我的脚步，一起挺身奋斗，能够拯救这座小镇的只有我们魔法少女。这么做等于要她们跟著自己下地狱。

Dying. Death. Killing. Being killed.
死、死亡、杀人、被杀。

Wedin raised her head and looked Tepsekemei in the eye. Tepsekemei’s face was as expressionless as always, her arms folded and her legs crossed as she floated in mid-air.
誓约薇汀抬起头来，对上蒂普赛柯梅的视线。蒂普赛柯梅如往常般面无表情，抱胸盘腿地飘浮于半空中。

“Wedin?”
「誓约薇汀。」

“W-What is it?”
「什、什么事？」

“Aren’t you going to give an order?”
「还不下命令吗？」

Everyone was looking at Wedin, listening closely to what Wedin was about to say. She touched her hand to her chest. It hurt. She wanted to scratch her head to pieces.
众人都望著誓约薇汀，竖耳倾听誓约薇汀即将说出口的话语。她用手按住胸口，好痛苦，好想狠狠地把头抓破。

What should she, as a team leader, be doing? She did not want to die. It was scary. But she did not want her town to be destroyed She most definitely did not want the things and people which were important to her to disappear. She was scared. Who would come save her?
身为队长该如何做呢？她不想死，好恐怖。但她不希望小镇遭到摧毁。她绝对不希望看到重要的人事物，所有的一切都消失不见。好恐怖，谁来救救她。

Powerful ideas and weak ideas appeared in her mind, and then they vanished. The depths of her throat seemed to be held tightly by someone. What should she do to be released from this torment? Thus, Wedin spoke.
强烈的意念与软弱的意念纷纷浮现，接著消失不见，喉咙深处彷彿被人紧紧按住。到
底该如何做，才能够从这股痛苦中获得释放呢？于是，誓约薇汀开口了。

“Firstly, I would like everyone to cool your heads. This is not in a physical sense, but in a spiritual sense. A mind that is not calm cannot make the best decisions. Therefore, I would like all of you to decide by yourselves. I will not issue any orders.
「首先请各位好好地冷静一下头脑。我指的不是物理上的，而是精神上的。失去冷静的脑袋，不可能想出最佳结论。所以，请各位自行决定，我并不会下达任何命令。」

Saying so, she continued looking at Kurukuru-hime, Funny Trick and Tepsekemei.
说完，依序看向转转姬、惊喜魔技与蒂普赛柯梅。

“I -- I’ve decided. Even if Mana-san opposes it, I will stay and fight.”
「我——已经下定决心，即使麻奈小姐反对，我也要留在这裡战斗。」


☆ Funny Trick (3 hours and 32 minutes remaining)

Kayo was crying by herself, in a darkness so deep that she could not see her fingers stretched out in front of her face. Nobody reached out a helping hand to her, and nobody even cared about her. She felt sad, miserable, like she did not want to do anything. If only she could stop up her ears and close her eyes and lose herself in tears, the storm would eventually pass. All that stuff about how this city would disappear must have been a lie.
佳代在深手不见五指的漆黑中孤伶伶地哭泣。没有人对她伸出援手，甚至连关切她一下的人都没有。，她只觉得好悲伤、好痛苦，什么都不想做。如果堵住双耳、闭上双眼，一味埋首哭泣的话，暴风雨总有一天一定会过去的。说什么这座小镇会不见，一定是骗人的。

She did not want to hear or see anything. When one got down to it, she had never wanted to be a Magical Girl. Everyone other than Kayo had been immersed in joy, while she had only been dragged into the whole business. You could not believe in Magical Girls or whatnot. They were things which should not have existed, and that weapon of mass destruction thing must surely be nonsense.
她什么都不想听，什么都不想看。追根究柢说起来，她压根就不想成为魔法少女。除了佳代以外的人都沉浸在喜悦中，她只是被拖下水而已。魔法少女什么的根本不能相信，这绝对不是应该存在的事物，大规模毁灭性武器一定是胡诌的。

However, as Kayo rejected everything and hugged her head and trembled, Shihabara Umi shouted in her heart.
然而，抗拒一切迳自抱头颤抖不已的佳代心中，却有个怒吼不已的芝原海。

--Are you an idiot? There’s no need to hesitate when it comes to this sort of thing!
——你是笨蛋吗！这种事情明明不需要感到犹豫！

Kayo was furious at that irresponsible statement, and she retorted:
佳代对于这句不负责任的发言感到火大，便提出反驳。

--You say that every time, Umi-chan, but things are really bad this time round.
——虽然小海你每次都这么说，但是这次的情况真的很不妙。

--It’s because things are really bad that they’re really good!
——就是因为真的很不妙才好啊！

--You’re being too reckless.
——你也太随便了吧。

--There’s no such thing as recklessness for Magical Girls, only situations that get their blood boiling.
——魔法少女才没有随便之分，只有能让人热血沸腾的情境。

--What do you mean, situations! Listen here! For something like that...
——什么情境，我说你呀！就因为这种东西……

--Are you really going to be satisfied by running off while that lot aren’t paying attention? Please don’t make me laugh.
——你该不会只是趁那帮人一个不注意的空档逃脱出来，就感到心满意足了吧？拜託你别笑死我了。

--Umi-chan...
——小海……

--Didn’t you want to beat me? If you can take out a foe I couldn’t defeat, then you’ve won.
——你不是想赢过我吗？如果收拾掉我打不赢的对手，那么你就赢过我了。

Kayo, who had always followed behind Umi, beating Umi.
一直跟在海后面的佳代，赢过海。

--But...
——可是……

--No buts! Pull yourself together right now!
——没有什么好可是的！你给我振作起来！

After that bout of irresponsible shouting, she kicked Funny Trick in the ass. When Funny Trick opened her eyes, she saw Wedin in front of her.
不负责任地乱吼之后，踢了惊喜魔技的屁股一脚。当惊喜魔技一睁开眼，便看到誓约薇汀就在面前。

Still holding her head, Funny Trick muttered: “I want to fight too.” She had the vague feeling that someone was complaining from somewhere, “You could have said it in a cooler way.”
惊喜魔技维持著抱头的姿势低喃：「我也想战斗。」隐约感觉到有人在某处不满地唠刀「明明可以说得更加潇洒帅气一点的说」。


☆ Kurukuru-hime (3 hours and 32 minutes remaining)

She did not want to think about anything. Problems kept coming up one after the other, new ones appearing before old ones were solved. She had never been proud to be a teacher. Not even a teacher could solve those problems which nobody could solve.
她什么都不想思考。问题一个接一个发生，在解决之前又冒出其他新的问题。她早就没有所谓身为老师的自尊心。没有人能够解决的问题，就算是老师也不可能解决。

Her father was gone. Nobody was left. Even her home, the place she could return to, would be destroyed after this. Her next door neighbor’s baby would start screaming in the middle of the night and bother her. Her opposite neighbor was searching hard for a job ever since he got laid off from his factory. And then there was her home, the home of Nozomi, who had lost her father. Everything would be destroyed.
父亲也已经不在了。谁都不剩。就连可以回去的家也会在这之后遭到破坏。每到半夜家中婴儿就会哇哇大哭，让人感到困的隔壁邻居、丈夫原本工作的工厂歇业而努力就业中的对面邻居，还有失去父亲的希的家，所有的一切都会被破坏。

She could not resist it. She could only watch helplessly as things unfolded. She could not protect her students as a teacher, she could not protect her father as his daughter, and she most definitely could not protect this city as a Magical Girl. She could not do anything, and in future she could only carry on uselessly. There was no point in doing anything.
她无法抵抗，只能眼巴巴地等待事情过去。身为老师的她无法保护学生，身为女儿的她也无法保护父亲，身为魔法少女的她更无法守护这座城镇。她什么都做不到，以后一定也只能如此无能下去，她失去做出任何行动的意义。

Did she really have to do anything? Kurukuru-hime was nobody… so why did she have to take action… besides, her family was not around any more. She had lost her motivation to be a teacher. She did not want to be a Magical Girl at all.
一定得行动吗？谁也不是的转转姬……是要为了什么而行动……反正家人都已经不在了。她也失去身为老师的干劲。她根本一点都不稀罕当什么魔法少女。

For some reason, she thought of her father. When she took her umbrella to pick him up from the train station, she could always pick her father out of the crowd. Her father was not an outstanding man, and he only wore a mundane suit, just like a salaryman you could see anywhere, but she could still sense him, think, “ah, there he is”, and find him right away. Just then, Nozomi realized that her babyface had come from her father. She thought about how such an old man could laugh like a child, and she could not resist smiling herself, while her father looked at her with a baffled expression on his face.
不知道为什么她想起了父亲。当她拿伞去车站接他的时候，一眼就能够看到茫茫人海中的父亲。父亲的长相明明不算突出，穿的也只是平凡的西装，就像是随处可见的上班族，但她还是能察觉到「啊，就在那裡」并立刻发现父亲的身影。就在此时，希才发现原来自己的娃娃脸是遗传自父亲。她心想这位大叔怎么笑得跟个小孩子一样，而忍不住窃笑起来，父亲则是带著一副不解的神情望著她。

Nozomi had never made barley tea before, but there had always been barley tea in the fridge. Every time the stocks of barley tea ran low, her father would take out packets of barley tea, dump them in the kettle and boil it. Nobody had asked him to do so, but he knew Nozomi liked barley tea, and so he always remembered to help her make more.
希明明不曾煮过麦茶，但冰箱裡的麦茶却从未短缺过。每当麦茶库存不多时，父亲就会拿出麦茶的茶包，丢入水壷裡煮。并没有人拜託他这么做，但他知道希喜欢喝麦茶，因此总是记得为她补充麦茶。

Her father was gone. He had been killed. His life had been taken. In the face of something so outrageously unreasonable, she was going to turn away, as though to tell herself, I’m powerless to help, I can’t do anything. She felt as though a flow of magma was going to explode out from her belly. This was… anger. Why did her father have to meet such a terrible end? Why did this city have to be destroyed?
父亲已经不在了。被杀死了，性命被夺走了。面对如此毫无道理的事情，她只是撇过脸去，彷彿诵经般对自己说，自己也无能为力、自己什么都做不到。一股流动的岩浆似乎正要从她的腹部深处涌出。这是……愤怒。为什么父亲非得惨遭被杀的下场？为什么这座小镇非得面临被破坏的下场？

There was nobody left to push her forward from behind, so when Kurukuru-hime stood up, she did so under her own power.
会默默地从背后推她一把的人已经不在了，转转姬凭自己的力气站起身。

“I want to fight too. Please let me take part in this.”
「我也要战斗，请让我加入。」


☆ Mana (3 hours and 28 minutes)

Wedin had made her declaration, Funny Trick had nodded, Kurukuru-hime had asked to take part, and Tepsekemei’s expression seemed to say that joining the fight was only to be expected as she floated in mid-air.
誓约薇汀发出宣言、惊喜魔技点头，转转姬也要求参与，蒂普赛柯梅则是露出一副自己参战是理所当然的表情，在半空中飘浮。

What should Mana do? The idea that she should not bring ordinary civilians with her still had not vanished.
麻奈该如何是好？认为自己不该带普通市民前往的想法仍然没有消失。

“...No. Rookie Magical Girls like you can’t contribute to the battle.”
「……不行，才刚当上魔法少女的你们，无法成为战力。」

7753 took Mana’s hand once more. This time, she did not shake her off.
7753再度牵起麻奈的手。这一次她没有挥开。

“My superior told me… that I was a human resources person. Not a warrior, not an investigator, and by no means an assassin, so she told me that I should flee. But, even a HR person can fight in their own way… so please, give me an hour. In just one hour, I can use my goggles to discover everyone’s potential.”
「上司对我说……我是人事官，既不是战士也不搜查官，更不是暗杀者。我一点都不适合战斗，所以下达要我离开的指示。但是，人事官也有人事官的战斗方式……请给我一小时。只要一个小时，就能用我的护目镜来发掘众人的可能性。」

“Potential?”
「可能性？」

“From the moment they become a Magical Girl, everyone instinctively has a vague idea of what their Magical Skill is. But ultimately, it’s just a vague idea. Under normal circumstances, people use the Magical Skills and then discover the restrictions, limitations, applications and other knowledge about their abilities. However, they don’t have the practical experience for that.”
「从成为魔法少女的瞬间起，每个人就会隐隐约约知道自己的魔法是怎么一回事。但说穿了，只不过是隐隐约约知道而已。一般来说，大家都是一边透过实际使用，一边学习自己魔法的限制、极限与应用方式等的知识。但是，她们并没有这些实战经验。」

“That’s why I…”
「所以我才……」

“But, we can use my goggles. I will analyze everyone’s Magical Skill and help them reach the level of a seasoned professional.”
「但是，可以使用我的护目镜。我会分析每个人的魔法，帮助大家升级成媲美资深老手的程度。」

She could not bring herself to shake off 7753’s hand. Be it Wedin, Kurukuru-hime, Funny Trick or Tepsekemei, none of them looked like they were going to back down. Mana moved her eyes away from them, and kicked the ground at her feet.
她实在无法狠下心来挥开7753的手。不论是誓约薇汀、转转姬、惊喜魔技或蒂普赛柯梅，个个毫不退缩麻奈将视线从她们身上挪开，踢向脚边的土。

“...I have a few more things on me. I could share them with you.”
「……我手上还有一些道具，可以分你们用。」

She dumped the smoke bombs, magic wands and other stuff onto the ground.
将烟雾弹、魔杖等东西哗啦哗啦地倒在地上。

Mana raised her head and pointed at Wedin.
麻奈抬起头来，指向誓约薇汀。

“I’m going to negotiate with Frederica. Let’s use your Magical Skill… your ability to enforce binding promises to make use of her. Frederica might be scum, but she is very powerful. Stronger than any of us.”
「我要跟菲列特莉嘉交涉。就用你的魔法……有强制力的约定来利用她吧。虽然菲列特莉嘉是个人渣，但战斗能力很强大。比我们任何人都要强大。」


☆Pythie Frederica (2 hours and 56 minutes remaining)

The friends who reject you will surely want to befriend you.
拒绝你的朋友们，想必也想跟你做朋友吧。

“Please”, said the strange voice which Frederica was working for. The truly surprising thing was that Frederica actually believed them. Surely, the other party would say, “You’re showing how useful you are now”. He, or perhaps she, was not simply relaying orders, but demonstrating her abilities to Frederica in her own way.
「拜託」菲列特莉嘉办事的那个论异声音如此说。非常不可思议的是，菲列特莉嘉也确实相信了。她心想对方会这么说，「是在展现自己很有用」吧。他或者该说是她，并非单纯地下达命令，而是以自己的方式，向菲列特莉嘉展现自己的能耐。

Even though the voice was synthesized, she could still make out the meaning hidden within the words. The other side did not intend to deceive Frederica, and they were not trying to casually reassure Frederica.
即使是合成声音，但还是能够截取出潜藏在话语中的深意。对方既不打算欺骗菲列特莉嘉，也不是以随便的心态安慰菲列特莉嘉。

A while after Frederica had fled the scene, the voice had called again to tell her the results of her actions. In other words, “Pukin won, Postarie and Toko were killed, and Rain Pou is under her control.” This time, the other side was not showing their ability, but praising her for what she had done. That outcome was within the range of Frederica’s predictions, so she did not feel that the other side was lying.
当菲列特莉嘉逃离现场，稍微隔了一段时间后，那道声音就将此次行动的结果告诉了她。也就是「谱金获得胜利，波斯塔丽与多可遭到杀害，梦幻彩虹则被她所操控」的现况。这一次，对方不是在展现自己的能耐，而是在奖赏她此番的行动。对方带来的结果在菲列特莉嘉的预料之中，因此她不认为对方撒谎。

After that, the phone had not rung again.
从那之后，电话就不曾响起。

Frederica waited before the mobile phone with bated breath. She sat beneath a vinyl sheet, waiting singlemindedly. She snatched up the phone the instant it vibrated.
菲列特莉嘉一直屏气凝神地等在行动电话前。她在塑胶垫下方打坐，任由时间流逝而去，只是一心一意地等待著。当行动电话震动的瞬间，她立刻拿起来。

It was Kurukuru-hime.
是转转姬打来的。

“This is Pythie Frederica, is this Kurukuru-hime?”
「我是比缇·菲列特莉嘉，请问是转转姬吗？」

“I am Wedin.”
「我是誓约薇汀。」

--Hm?
——喔？

“Is something matter?”
「请问有什么事情吗？」

“This concerns what you said earlier, do you truly intend to provide your assistance?”
「关于刚才的后续，你是真的打算提供协助吧？」

“Arara… has the situation changed?”
「哎呀呀……这是局势变了吗？」

“Let us get this out of the way first -- there is no point trying to take advantage of our plight. If the criminal is not apprehended before the barrier is lifted, the Foreign Affairs Division intends to deploy a weapon of mass destruction against this city. If that happens, I doubt you will be able to survive by yourself.”
「话先说在前头，就算你想要趁人之危也没有用。如果不在结界解除之前逮捕到犯人，外交部似乎打算对这座小镇使用大规模毁灭性武器。如此一来，想必你也无法独自生还吧。」

Foreign Affairs? Using a weapon of mass destruction?
外交部？使用大规模毁灭性武器？

Was that even possible? No matter how you looked at it, surely this was too far-fetched. But judging by Wedin’s tone, she did not seem to be lying. Had an error cropped up somewhere? And was that error growing? However, Frederica could not determine anything, since she was outside of Foreign Affairs’ information network.
这种事情有可能吗？再怎么说，这种事情也太离谱了吧。但是从誓约薇汀的声音听来，不像是在说谎。一定是哪个环节出了差错吧？而那个差错以现在进行式发展中？不过，被拒于外部情报大门之外的菲列特莉嘉，实在难以做出任何判断。

“I see… it would seem the situation is developing beyond control. Thank you for sharing this information with me.”
「原来如此……看来事情演变得一发不可收拾呢。谢谢你告诉我这么珍贵的情报。」

“I came to tell you something, not hear your thanks.”
「我会告诉你并不是想听你道谢。」

“Then, allow me to share some information with you as well. Pukin clashed with Rain Pou, and the result was that Postarie and Toko were killed, while Rain Pou seems to be Pukin’s puppet now.”
「那么，我也告诉你一条情报吧。谱金与梦幻彩虹交手过了，结果就是多可与波斯塔丽被杀，梦幻彩虹现在似乎成了谱金的傀儡。」

She was answered by silence. After about thirty seconds of blank time, Wedin continued:
回应她的是一片沉默，隔了三十秒左右的空白期后，誓约薇汀才继续说：

“How do you know this?”
「你为什么会知道这种事情？」

“I was on the scene, but I fled before I was discovered.”
「我正好在现场，不过被发现之前就先逃跑了。」

She knew that excuse sounded very unnatural, but the other side had no way to prove or disprove it.
她自己也明白这个藉口很不自然，但对方无法验证。

“Therefore, I have no reason to refuse the proposition you wish to make to me. After all, Rain Pou and Pukin together are not people that I can deal with. If you tell me where you are, I will rush over right away.”
「因此，我没有道理拒绝你们要跟我合作的提议。毕竟梦幻彩虹与谱金两人联手的话，绝对不是我应付得来的对象。只要将你们的所在地告诉我，我就会立刻飞奔过去。」

“Having you come over now would be troublesome for us. Before that, please promise me a few things.”
「你现在立刻跑来的话我们会很困扰。在这之前，请先答应我几件事情。」

“Promise you?”
「答应你？」

“I cannot trust you. I do not wish to be stabbed in the back after this battle is over. I will return your weapon to you, so please agree to these things for me.”
「我实在无法相信你。我可不想在战争结束后，被人从背后捅一刀。我会把你的强大武器还给你，所以这点小事情就请你答应我吧。」


☆7753 (2 hours and 30 minutes remaining)

Pythie Frederica was here.
比缇•菲列特莉嘉来了。

She wore a headscarf sprinkled with star-shaped decorations, a necklace with star-shaped links, star-patterned stockings with star-shaped designs on them, her overall appearance reminded one of the constellations and a head of long hair cascaded down below her long skirts. Anyone she smiled at would want to believe her, but anyone who had heard of her true nature would surely not be deceived by that smile.
缀有星型装饰的头纱、星星项鍊、星星彩绘再加上星星图案丝袜，繁星点点的扮相，一头如瀑布般的长髮沿著长裙而下。虽然被那笑容可掬的微笑一对上就会忍不住相信此人，但如果是听说过她本性的人，想必绝对不会被那副笑容迷惑吧。

A malevolent mood filled the air the moment Pythie arrived.
在菲列特莉嘉来访的同时，四周瞬间瀰漫著一股险恶的气氛。

Even without looking through her goggles at Frederica, 7753 could tell. This was not just a vague and indistinct feeling either. Funny Trick had been captured by them, Kurukuru-hime’s father had been killed by them, Mana’s friend Hana had been killed by them, Wedin had once been controlled by them, and Tepsekemei was imitating everyone else. All of them directed death stares at Frederica. On her part, Frederica put her hand on the back of her head and gave the excuse, “Pukin did all of those by herself, or I had to do so on her orders… something for which I am deeply remorseful.”
即使不是透过护目镜看著菲列特莉嘉的7753也能够明白，这不只是隐隐约约的感觉而已。曾经被对方抓住的惊喜魔技、父亲遭到对方杀害的转转姬、朋友羽菜遭到对方杀害的麻奈，以及曾经被控制心灵的誓约薇汀，与跟著现场气氛依样画葫芦的蒂普赛柯梅，全部的人一致死瞪著菲列特莉嘉。菲列特莉嘉则是将手放在后脑杓上，说出「这些全部都是谱金本身做的，不然就是受命于谱金才做的事情……我已经深深反省了」的藉口。

It was one thing if she truly regretted her actions, but to 7753 and the others, Frederica as she was now was not a purely harmful entity. The promises Wedin wanted from Frederica revolved around the three points of “do not take actions in opposition to the Magical Girls and magicians present”, “do not lie”, and “after the barrier is dispelled, do not use your Magical Skill against these Magical Girls and magicians.” The first point was only to be expected. The second point was to guard against Frederica lying to them about things she had not agreed to, and the third point was insurance against Frederica’s surveillance and interference after the incident was resolved.

They found points where they could compromise, points where each could give ground to the other, and restated them into more mutually acceptable terms like “Priorities during emergencies”, “threatening one’s right to life”, “evacuation in emergency situations”, chain of command under normal situations” and so on. In addition, Frederica made other promises with Mana.
找出彼此能够妥协的点、彼此愿意让步的点，改成「发生紧急情况时的优先顺序」、「威胁到生存权利时」、「紧急避难的情况」、「命令系统正常运作的情况下」诸如此类的折衷说法。另外，菲列特莉嘉与麻奈也做了其他约定。

“If it’s just a reduction of sentence, the Land of Magic will still capture me. Therefore, I’d just like you to pretend you never saw me. Don’t worry, I won’t do bad things again. I just don’t want to go back to jail.”

Frederica was a bad person, and that fact had probably not changed. However, at the present moment, Frederica was essential in order to prevent the deployment of a weapon of mass destruction against this city. Since she had promised Wedin that she would not lie, she probably would not do anything to deceive or betray them.
菲列特莉嘉是坏人的事实，想必并不会有任何改变吧。但事到如今，为了防止大规模毁灭性武器投入这座小镇，菲列特莉嘉是不可或缺的人才。既然她答应过誓约薇汀不会说谎，想必也不会做出背叛或欺骗人的行为吧。

“If you give me back my crystal ball, I will work for you immediately. However, please don’t ask me to do anything to her. If I try anything against Pukin, my left hand will literally rest in pieces.”

After they finished discussing the exact way in which they would work together, 7753 returned to her post. She carefully studied the rookie Magical Girls, who had not perfectly mastered the way to use their Magical Skill. Through her goggles, she confirmed the effective range of their Magical Skills, their usage conditions, their speed, precision and various other parameters, and she also looked for ways to employ them effectively.
与菲列特莉嘉讨论完该以何种方式联手作战之后，7753回到自己的工作岗位上。她仔细地观察还无法完美使用自己魔法的菜鸟魔法少女们。透过护目镜观察，她确认了她们魔法的效果范围、使用条件、速度、精淮度等所有一切的项目，同时也寻找相关的运用方法。

Until now, 7753 had observed hundreds of Magical Girls. Using her experience as a HR professional, she thought about “what could these Magical Skills do”. In the past, 7753 had always been “looking for the bad sides of people, and then filing a report”, but that also required the ability to correctly grasp the special qualities of her subjects. While she had not needed to write reports of late, her experience had not vanished as a result.

She took a mouthful out of a ham, but it was not enough to satisfy.  She laughed at her own unmannered style of eating, musing that it was just like Sonia, and then her chest ached as she recalled Sonia. No matter what she ate, it did not satisfy. Was it because there was not enough food? Or was it because it did not stimulate her in some other way? She had just consumed a fairy, known as the most nutritious of foods, and there was honestly nothing she could complain about. The taste and texture aside, the nutrient content alone surpassed all other foods.
一口撕开火腿，却仍然不满足。她自嘲地想这种没规矩的吃法简直跟索妮雅一样，胸口因想起索妮雅而微微刺痛。不管她怎么吃、吃多少都觉得不满足。这是因为食物的分量不够吗？抑或是其他的刺激不够呢？她才刚摄取了称之为最高营养的妖精养分，关于品质方面实在没得挑剔，先姑且不论味道与口感，光是那营养价值就凌驾于所有食品之上。

Rain Pou was obedient and quick to respond, and she would faithfully obey any order given to her. Pukin had designed that personality, and it was hardly interesting. However, when one considered ease of command, such a personality was only to be expected. Even if she ordered Rain Pou to do something interesting or tell an amusing joke, she did not think Rain Pou could please her. Even if Rain Pou wanted to loyally carry out her orders, that probably would not work out either. She had also considered returning Frederica under her wing while forbidding her to abandon her duty again, but she did not know how to find her.
梦幻彩虹个性乖巧又好使唤，无论任何命令都会乖乖服从。虽然是谱金自己设定成如此性格，但少了那么一点趣味。不过以方便使唤为优先考量的话，如此的设定也是理所当然的。就算她命令梦幻彩虹做些有趣的事情，或说些好笑的话来听听，她也不认为梦幻彩虹能够取悦她。即使梦幻彩虹想要忠实地执行命令，想必也不会成功吧。她也不是没考虑过，乾脆限制菲列特莉嘉绝对不淮做出怠忽职守的行为，让菲列特莉嘉回到自己麾下，但她不知道该如何找人。

Thinking about Sonia or Frederica only displeased her. The reason why she could not forget the sadness in her heart and buried herself in her food was because she was waiting for people who had not arrived yet. Just the investigation team that wanted to arrest Rain Pou would be able to give Pukin much enjoyment. She could not understand why the investigation team was being so slack.
不管是想起索妮雅或是菲列特莉嘉，都只会让她感到不快。她会这样无法忘却心中鬱闷、埋首吃个不停，都是因为等待的人迟迟不来的关系。光是想要逮捕梦幻彩虹的调查小组来的话，就能够替谱金带来许多娱乐。她实在难以理解，调查小组为何办事如此不力。

The interior of the house, be it the walls, floor, ceiling or furniture, had all been cut to pieces. In an aggressive mood, Pukin wanted to go outside, but there was nobody there for her to attack either. In the end, it was just a waste of energy. She had taken it out on the walls, floor, ceiling and furniture, but it was not entertaining at all.
房间内部，无论是牆壁、地板、天花板或家具等所有的一切都被砍得乱七八糟。谱金的攻击性想要离开房间去到外头，但去到外头也没有攻击的对象。以结果论，她只是白费力气而已，最后只能发洩在牆壁、地板、天花板与家具上，一点都不有趣。

The fact that the investigation team was incompetent was not a good thing. Why were they making Pukin wait for so long? Since they were incompetent, she had no choice but to do them the kindness of matching their pace. This was because Pukin was a generous and magnanimous person. She showed kindness not just to her followers, but even to her foes as well.
调查小组如此无能实在不是一件好事。让谱金空等至今到底是什么意思？既然对方如此无能，她也只好亲切地配合一下。因为谱金是个心胸宽大、宽宏大量的人。不只是对属下，即使是面对敌人，她也很亲切。

And so, she gave an order to Rain Pou as she came in through the window while clutching bags of snacks.
于是，她对抱著粮食、从窗户回到房裡来的梦幻彩虹下达命令。

“Go outside and kill every single human being that you see. Be it buildings or cars, destroy them all. In addition to simple destruction, put everything to the torch. Once the fire rises, even the unwilling will see it.”
「你去外面将看得到的人类杀个片甲不留。不管是建筑物或汽车，全部都摧毁掉。不只摧毁，也要放火烧。只要窜起烟雾，就算不愿意也一定会看到吧。」

“Yes.”
「是。」

Before long, the sound of screaming and objects being destroyed reached her ears. There was the crying of children, the high-pitched shrieking of women, the shouts of men, and then the pleas for mercy that made them so much more perfect. Pukin picked up a chunk of ham and looked down from the balcony as she took a mouthful of it.
不用多久时间，立刻听到外面传来惨叫声与破坏物体的声响。小孩的哭声、女人尖锐哭叫的高分贝、男人的怒吼，接下来再听到摇首乞怜的求饶声就更完美了。谱金隻手拿起一块火腿后起身，从阳台眺望外面I边咬下一口火腿。

“To think the cries of these foolish swine would prove to be so pleasing.”
「想不到笨猪的叫声还挺动听的嘛。」

They had livened up her otherwise-boring mealtime. Had she known, she would have given the order earlier.
无趣的用餐时间也多少变得有趣些，早知道就早一点下达这道命令了。


☆ Rain Pou (1 hour and 5 minutes remaining)

Pukin’s orders could not be disobeyed. Rain Pou would not make any decisions, and she would simply act. She would carry out Pukin’s orders until the end.
谱金的命令是绝对不可违逆的。梦幻彩虹不会进行任何的取捨，一切照收不误。谱金命令的事情，一律执行到底。

She sent out a rainbow at an old couple sitting on a bus stop bench, picked off moving cars with rainbows, then hacked down traffic signs and traffic lights with rainbows. As she ran down a shopping street, she cast out rainbows at every shop she passed, covering the windows with red fluid sprayed out from inside so people could not see the interior.
朝坐在公车站长椅上的老夫妇伸出彩虹，以彩虹进行狙击行驶中的汽车，再用彩虹砍断交通标志与红绿灯。穿梭于商店街时，对每一间店铺伸出彩虹，橱窗被店裡喷溅出来的红色液体覆盖，让人看不清店内情形。

Rain Pou ran down a road, throwing up a roiling of plume of dust in her wake, and spurts of fresh blood painted her path a brilliant red.
梦幻彩虹一边扬起滚滚烟尘一边奔驰于马路上，飞溅的鲜血连绵不绝地将笔直的道路染成豔红一片。

She was not equipped with the cognitive ability to decide whether or not she wanted to do something. Not only had she received orders to kill people and destroy objects, she had also been ordered to commit arson.
她并不具备能够判断「想做」或「不想做」的思考能力。她不只接受杀人、破坏的命令，同时也接到放火的命令。

Rain Pou entered a grocery store and turned it upside down, but she could not find any matches. Thus, she went a bit further to a convenience store, which just happened to be manned. She tried asking, “where are the matches”, but the employee did nothing but scream with no intention to answer her question, so she cut the employee down. After that, she considered that perhaps a Buddhist supply store might have matches and the like.
梦幻彩虹进入杂货店裡大肆翻找后，没有发现火柴。于是，她前往稍微有一段距离的便利商店，店裡正好有店员，她试著询问「火柴在哪裡？」，店员却一直尖叫个不停、完全不打算回答她的问题，因此她砍了对方。接著想起佛具店应该会有火柴这种东西。

She ran along the road, using rainbows to kill everyone and destroy everything that entered her line of sight. She had to fully obey Pukin’s orders. If she used multiple rainbows at once, she could easily achieve her objective. She cut open police cars, slashed up police officers, chopped gravel cars into several pieces, and hacked the gigantic Buddha statue above the Buddhist supply store into three pieces. The statue collapsed with a thunk, squashing a nearby house whose roof it had fallen on.
在马路上跑著，再使用彩虹将映入眼帘的人事物全都破坏殆尽，她必须完全按照谱金的命令行动。只要同时使用数道彩虹，就能够轻鬆达到目的。割开警车、劈倒警察、将砂石车砍成数截，并将装饰在佛具店屋簷上的巨大佛像切成三段。佛像发出.「砰咚」一声倒塌，民房因为佛像坍塌在屋顶上而被压扁。

Rain Pou was simply carrying out her orders.
梦幻彩虹只是按照命令行事而已。

She found ten family-sized boxes of matches in the Buddhist supply store. With this many matches, she could start all the fires she had to. If that happened, Pukin would surely be quite pleased.
从佛具店搜出十盒家庭号火柴。有这么多火柴，应该足够用来尽情点火。如此一来，想必谱金也会相当满意才是。

“What are you doing?”
「你在做什么？」

Someone suddenly spoke from behind her, so she leapt aside, turned around, and cast out rainbows. A total of seven rainbows unerringly struck the person shouting at her, but the other party had not fallen.
背后突然传来有人对自己说话的声音，于是她一边跳开一边转过头去的同时伸出彩虹。总共七道彩虹，不偏不倚地命中喊住她的对象，然而对方却没有倒下。

“So you are an enemy.”
「你果然是敌人。」

The body which the rainbow had cut to pieces blurred, and Tepsekemei looked down on Rain Pou from above. If Tepsekemei was here, that would mean the others had arrived too. The faces of Kurukuru-hime, Funny Trick and the others appeared in her mind.
被彩虹砍裂的身体开始聚拢，蒂普赛柯梅由高往下看著梦幻彩虹。蒂普赛柯梅会出现在这裡，意味著其他人也跑来了。转转姬、惊喜魔技等人的脸，陆续浮现于她的脑海


☆Wedin (58 minutes remaining)

Wedin’s Magical Skill was the ability to compel people to keep their promises.
誓约薇汀的魔法是能够强制别人遵守约定。

According to 7753’s analysis, there was no limit to the number of promises she could make. In addition, there was no limit to the number of people with whom she could make promises.
根据7753的分析结果，约定的数量并无限制。另外，进行约定的对象数量也完全无上限。

Promises overwrote each other. If there were any contradictions, the new promise took precedence.
约定是会覆写上去的，当约定产生矛盾时，新的约定会拥有更强大的强制力。

Her Magical Skill could compel the other party’s actions, but not their emotions or thoughts.
她的魔法能够强制对象行动，但无法束缚感情与思考。

Even if the promise was not made face to face, it would still be valid. Similarly, she could convey her meaning to them and it would still apply.
即使不是面对面订下约定，也能够成立。同样地，向对方传达意思时也不例外。

In addition, Wedin determined how these promises were interpreted.
而且，一切都是以誓约薇汀的主观为基淮。

The Rain Pou appearing in the crystal ball was destroying everything with a blank look on her face, clearly the sign of some abnormal mental state. The first thing they could be sure of was that Rain Pou was definitely under Pukin’s control. One did not need to be Wedin -- who had been controlled before -- to tell that.
映照在水晶球上的梦幻彩虹，带著一脸茫然的表情持续进行破坏，看起来明显处于精神异常的状态。首先，能够确定的是，梦幻彩虹确实被谱金的魔法所操控。这即使不是曾经被操控过的誓约薇汀也能够明白。

The problem now was if Wedin’s Magical Skill would work on someone controlled by Pukin’s Magical Skill. Their original agreement was that she had to “obey the team leader”. However, it was sure that Rain Pou did not see Wedin as her team leader. According to 7753, whether or not the Magical Skill took effect would depend on how Wedin viewed Rain Pou.
问题是，面对受到谱金的魔法所操控的对象时，誓约薇汀的魔法是否能够发挥效果。当初的约定事项为「必须遵守队长的决定」。但可以确定的是，如今的梦幻彩虹并不把誓约薇汀视为队长，根据7753所言，魔法发动与否的前提条件在于誓约薇汀如何看待梦幻彩虹。

Even if the other party was brainwashed, lost their memories or had a split personality, the subjective interpretation of the promise rested with Wedin. If she thought so, the Magical Skill would work.
即使对方遭到洗脑、失去记忆、人格分裂，一切的主导权仍握在誓约薇汀的手上。只要她本身如此认为，魔法就一定会发挥效用。

Frederica observed Tepsekemei through the crystal ball and leisurely said, “My, they’re quite lively down there”. No matter how much Frederica lied to herself, so long as Wedin did not make a mistake, her Magical Skill could not be defied.
菲列特莉嘉透过水晶球观察蒂普赛柯梅，并悠哉从容地发表「轰轰烈烈地大闹了一番呢」的感想。不管菲列特莉嘉有多么会欺骗自我，只要誓约薇汀不出差错，基本上是无法忤逆她的魔法的。

“She must be making a scene on purpose to draw us out.”
「想必是故意大闹一番，好引出我们几个人吧。」

“Please be quiet. You are distracting me.”
「请你安静一点，会害我分心。」

Rain Pou and Tepsekemei were trading blows with each other at a distance on 20 meters. Rain Pou hacked at Tepsekemei with swords of rainbows, while using rainbow walls to block Tepsekemei’s attacks. So that was how rainbows were used. Rain Pou’s mind was entirely focused on Tepsekemei, while Tepsekemei was doing her best to play a decoy.
梦幻彩虹与蒂普赛柯梅保持著二十公尺左右的距离’以丢摊型武器进行远距战斗。梦幻彩虹以彩虹形成的剑砍裂蒂普赛柯梅的身体，并用彩虹形成的牆壁阻挡蒂普赛柯梅的攻击。原来如此，彩虹是这样使用的呀。梦幻彩虹的意识全部集中在蒂普赛柯梅身上，蒂普赛柯梅非常尽责地扮演好诱饵的角色。

“Alright, please do it.”
「好了，请动手吧。」

“Yes yes yes, I understand.”
「是是是，我瞭解了。」

Frederica picked up Wedin and then shoved her face-first into the crystal ball. Before she could think “that hurts”, she was already elsewhere. Rain Pou and Tepsekemei were fighting nearby. Tepsekemei stepped out of the shadows and shouted:
誓约薇汀被菲列特莉嘉一把抓住衣领后，脸立刻被按进水晶球裡。在她还来不及心想「好痛」的时候，已经移动到别处去了。不远处就是梦幻彩虹与蒂普赛柯梅厮杀的战场，誓约薇汀从阴影处跳出去后大喊：

“Stop now! Rain Pou! I forbid you to do anything which harms others!”
「快点住手！梦幻彩虹！禁止做出伤害别人的行为！」

Rain Pou turned around, her face still blank.
梦幻彩虹转过头去，表情仍然一片茫然。

“I am your team leader! Rain Pou is forbidden to use her magic! She is not to punch or kick people! She is not to hurt any living creature! She is not to destroy anything! You are forbidden to do bad things! In particular, you are forbidden to…”
「我是你的队长！梦幻彩虹不淮使用魔法！也不淮踢人、揍人！不淮伤害活生生的生物！不淮破坏任何物品！禁止做坏事！尤其绝对禁止做坏……」

A beam of light came at her, and by the time Wedin noticed, she had been pulled back to a safe space. Tepsekemei and Rain Pou were gone, and beside her was Frederica.
光束迎面而来，当誓约薇汀察觉到那是彩虹时，已经被拉著衣领回到原地。蒂普赛柯梅与梦幻彩虹都已经消失不见，出现在她身旁的是菲列特莉嘉。

“Why didn’t my Magical Skill work?”
「为什么我的魔法无效？」

“Her ears seemed to be blocked up. Given her movements, I don’t think she could hear anything.”
「她的耳朵似乎是堵住的。从她的动作看来，不像听得到声音。」

“Blocking one’s ears… can do that?”
「堵住耳朵……能够办到这种事？」

The plan was to have Tepsekemei serve as bait and have Rain Pou focus all her energies on her, and then allow Wedin to take Rain Pou unawares through Frederica’s Magical Skill. That operation plan should have worked. The sound of destruction gradually drew closer, and Wedin bit her lip unhappily.
蒂普赛柯梅当诱饵，趁对方的注意力全部集中在蒂普赛柯梅身上时，透过菲列特莉嘉的魔法让誓约薇汀攻其不备，这个作战计画原本应该会成功的。物体遭到破坏的声响正逐渐接近，誓约薇汀不甘愿地紧紧咬住下唇。


☆ Rain Pou (55 minutes remaining)

Even when they had still been friends, Rain Pou had been on guard against Wedin’s Magical Skill. If she made a promise by accident, everything might be over for her. That said, it would be too suspicious if she were the only one among her friends who refused to make a promise. Therefore, she allowed herself to mix with her companions while thinking about how to oppose Wedin. And then, she hit on a simple idea.
早在她们还是伙伴关系时，梦幻彩虹就在提防誓约薇汀的魔法了。若是一不小心订下约定，一切有可能就此结束。话虽如此，但全部的伙伴中只有她一个排斥订下约定的话，未免太过可疑。于是，她让自己掩没在众多伙伴之中，思考该如何对抗誓约薇汀。然后，她想到一个再简单不过的方法。

Tepsekemei had shouted at her, but at that time, Rain Pou could not hear what she was saying. Once the fighting broke out, she immediately filled her ears with rainbows to block out the sound. Neither Wedin’s orders or Tepsekemei’s shouting had reached Rain Pou’s ears.
蒂普赛柯梅开口对她大声嚷嚷，然而此时此刻的梦幻彩虹听不到对方到底在说什么。当战斗一爆发，她立刻在耳朵裡张设彩虹，阻挡声音通过。无论是誓约薇汀的命令或蒂普赛柯梅的怒吼，一切都传不进梦幻彩虹的耳裡。

In addition, she had already thought of a combat tactic to deal with Tepsekemei.
而她也早就思考过针对蒂普赛柯梅的作战策略。

She made a rainbow wall to block Tepsekemei’s assault, then created rainbows on top of other rainbows and allowed them to extend while creating yet more rainbows, and in this way there were several layers of rainbows, each on top of the other, with rainbows covering other rainbows. If Tepsekemei had been calm enough, she might have realized Rain Pou’s plan and adapted to it. However, Tepsekemei as she was now had no intention of  avoiding attacks. In order to play the role of a decoy, Tepsekemei took every single attack coming her way without dodging. Rain Pou deployed an all-encompassing array of rainbows around Tepsekemei, and in the end she had Mei in the heart of a basketball-sized sphere of rainbows. Tepsekemei could become one with the wind, but she could not escape from the seamless sphere. The layers of rainbows had tremendous resistance to simple physical impacts. They could not even be damaged without special Magical Skills, and Tepsekemei could not possibly possess Magical Skills like that.

☆ Pukin (50 minutes remaining)

The screams and sounds of destruction slowly faded away. In all likelihood, Rain Pou was moving while massacring in order to create a bigger disturbance. While she was pleased that Rain Pou was so into her work, the lack of background music meant that she could not lose herself in her meal.
惨叫与破坏声响逐渐远离。想必是梦幻彩虹为了扩大骚动，一边进行杀戮一边移动的关系吧。虽然很开心梦幻彩虹对工作如此投入，但听不到BGM就无法沉浸于用餐中了。

Just then, there was the sound of something falling in the kitchen.
就在此时，厨房的方向传来「喀哒」一声，某种物品掉落的声响。

“Sonia? Frederica? Or is that Rain Pou?”
「索妮雅？菲列特莉嘉？还是梦幻彩虹？」

There was no response. Pukin drew her rapier, and crept silently toward the kitchen. Right after that, she somersaulted backwards to evade the ribbons which had broken through the window behind her.
没有回应。谱金从剑鞘中拔出细剑，消除脚步声后前往厨房。紧接著，以后空翻闪避打破身后窗户而来的数条缎带。

“Hahaha! An excellent feint! Not a bad tactic at all.”
「哈哈哈！还真是不错的假动作！这作战计画挺不赖的嘛。」

She chased the ribbons outside and leapt from the window to verify the enemy’s position. The ribboned Magical Girl was sprinting down the wall of the building. There was nobody else, and she could not sense any other presences around.
她追著逃到外面去的缎带，从窗户跳了出去，确认敌人的配置。缎带魔法少女正沿著大厦牆壁往下奔驰，没有其他人，也感觉不到任何气息。

So she had come to challenge her by herself. If that were the case, she was retreating too soon. The ribboned Magical Girl jumped off the wall of the building and ran in the opposite direction from Rain Pou.
单枪匹马一个人前来挑战她呀。如果是这样的话，对方未免也撤退得太迅速了。缎带魔法少女沿著大厦牆壁而下，跑向与梦幻彩虹前往之处完全相反的方向。谱金追了过去，但无法追上。

Pukin was far superior in terms of foot speed, but the ribboned Magical Girl wrapped her ribbons around buildings and traffic signs, pulling on her ribbons and swinging through the air. She even formed her ribbons into the shape of a wheel, and the moment she touched the grouped, she immediately accelerated forward in a full-power sprint. She could have easily left Pukin behind and escaped if she had a mind to do so, but it would seem her opponent was trying not to leave Pukin behind, while also trying not to let Pukin catch up.
脚程上是谱金大胜，但缎带魔法少女以缎带缠住建筑物与交通标志，一边拉缎带一边以飞行的方式在空中移动。甚至还将缎带製作成车轮般的形状，一旦著地，便立刻踩著那个车轮完全不踩煞车地全力衝刺而去。只要对方认真起来，想必能够将谱金远远地甩在后头并迅速逃离，但对方却保持著既不会甩开谱金，又不会被谱金追上的速度逃离。

This must be some attempt to lure her out. If that were the case, the opposition had underestimated her. Pukin snorted disdainfully.
想必是打算引诱她出来吧。若真是如此，对方似乎是小看自己了呢。谱金不屑地嗤之以鼻。

They ran through the nearly-empty streets and soared over the police cars, leaving the roads beneath the fields behind and going up the mountain paths. Had the opposition had picked a sparsely populated area, or had they prepared a trap? They finally arrived in a large clearing in the middle of the mountain forests. It was 50 meters in diameter, and on one side here were guide signs made from wood which had been carved into arrow shapes. Pukin could not read Japanese, so she had no idea what was written there.
跑过人迹罕至的道路、飞越过警车集体、离开田间的界道进入山路。对方纯粹是选择人烟稀少之处，抑或是淮备好了圏套？最后来到的是，位于山林裡的某个开阔宽敞的地方。直径约五十公尺的广场，一旁有以木头削成箭头形状的引导标志。由于谱金不懂日文，所以不知道上面写了些什么。

On the right were stacks of logs, and on the left were three people. One was in goggles, one wore a pointy hat, and one was a stage magician. The ground did not look suspicious, and the opposition was probably not going to use pit traps or mines against her. That said, why had they lured her here?
右手边是堆积如山的木料，左手边则出现三道人影。护目镜、尖帽，以及舞台魔术师。地面并没有任何诡异之处，料想对方也不会打算用挖陷阱或埋地雷的方式来对付她吧。既然如此，为何要把她引诱到这裡来呢？

--The outskirts of town… of course, the barrier.
——郊外……原来如此，结界呀。

They were thinking of using the barrier to weaken Pukin’s fighting ability. Whether it could actually work, it was not a bad idea.
想利用结界瘫痪谱金的战斗能力。姑且不论是否能够实现，这个想法还算不坏。



--No matter what plan they tried, all she had to do was kill them all.
——无论对方打算耍什么论计，只要将她们全部击溃就行了。

The goggled Magical Girl shouted:
戴护目镜的魔法少女大喊出声：

“Please be careful! Her physical ability parameters are higher than I anticipated! For some reason, the heart icons representing her strength are much higher than during the fight with Hana… what’s going on?!”
「请小心！她的体能数值比我原本预料得更高！代表强弱的爱心数量，也异常地比与羽菜战斗时暴增不少……怎么会这样子！」

Fairies were the best nutritional supplements. They could awaken the mana hidden within the bodies of Magical Girls. If only they tasted better, she would have no complaints about them.
妖精是最棒的营养剂，能够引发潜藏在魔法少女体内的魔力。如果味道可以更美味，那就实在好到没话说了。


☆ Wedin (48 minutes remaining)

Wedin’s Magical Skill did not work, and Tepsekemei was sealed into a rainbow sphere. The structural elements of the plan had almost collapsed. The kushiyaki shop’s exhaust was still running as it made a noise like it was going to break, and below it, Frederica and Wedin hid below a tarpaulin, watching the crystal ball in silence.
誓约薇汀的魔法行不通，蒂普赛柯梅则被封闭在彩虹球体内，作战计画的构成要素几乎全部崩盘。串烧店的排气管依旧发出快要坏掉的声响持续运作著，而在下方贴了塑胶垫并躲在其中的菲列特莉嘉与誓约薇汀，不发一语地凝视著水晶球。

Rain Pou grabbed the ball and leapt on top of a tall building. She left the destroyed streets behind her, and followed the road while running atop buildings. The scenery the crystal ball was showing through Tepsekemei’s hair changed as Tepsekemei moved.
梦幻彩虹抱起变小的球体，跳至大楼上方。将遭到破坏的道街抛诸脑后，沿著道路在大楼上方奔驰。透过蒂普赛柯梅的头髮而映照出来的水晶球内的景色，随著蒂普赛柯梅的移动而变化。

“Where is she going…”
「她到底打算去哪裡啊……」

“Moving with the ball implies she’s going to do something to Tepsekemei, right? For instance, even Tepsekemei won’t be coming out unharmed if she presses the ball to the barrier, right?”
「带著球体行动，意味著她打算对球体裡的蒂普赛柯梅做什么吗？举例来说，就算是蒂普赛柯梅，只要她把球体直接按压到结界上，蒂普赛柯梅绝对不可能毫髮无伤吧？」

“How could this… in that case, we need to get the ball back!”
「怎么可以……既然如此，还不快点把那颗球抢过来！」

“Yes, yes, I understand.”
「是是是，我瞭解了。」

Frederica reached her left hand into the crystal ball, and it appeared out of the air behind the running Rain Pou. The left hand was seamlessly connected to the rest of her arm, and just as she was about to touch the ball, a rainbow swept across and Pythie immediately pulled back her hand. Blood sprayed from her finger tip, leaving a red stain on Frederica’s cheek.
菲列特莉嘉将左手放进水晶球中，从正在奔跑中的梦幻彩虹背后伸出来。左手完美地贴合在背上，正当菲列特莉嘉的手快碰触到球体时，彩虹扫来，菲列特莉嘉立刻缩回左手。手背喷出鲜血，在菲列特莉嘉的脸颊洒下红渍。

“An assassin’s senses aren’t to be underestimated. I can’t believe she could do that even with her ears stopped up. Things are quite rough given we’re facing a foe who doesn’t lower their guard. If that’s the case, even trying to approach through the crystal ball will only expose us to a counterattack.
「暗杀者的感官实在不容小觑，堵著耳朵还能办到这种事情耶。对毫不鬆懈的对象出手，局势相当不利。如此一来，即使想透过水晶球接近对方，也只会让我们陷入反过来遭到狙击的状况。」

Rain Pou stopped for quite a while and looked around. Perhaps she had judged that there would not be any more attacks, but she continued sprinting again, bounding across the roofs.
梦幻彩虹停下来好一会儿，来回张望四周，也许是判断不会再有其他攻击了，又继续飞奔起来。只见她咚咚咚地在大楼上方跳跃。

“May I be permitted to speak?”
「我可以说句话吗？」

The courteous, squire-like way in which she spoke was very annoying.
菲列特莉嘉客气地问，那副献殷勤的态度实在碍眼。

“Rain Pou is not running with all her strength. She is hinting that we should follow her. What she is saying is that Tepsekemei will die if this goes on, so we must give chase if we do not want her to die.”
「梦幻彩虹并没有以全力奔跑。她是在暗示我们追过去。她的意思是，再这样下去的话，蒂普赛柯梅就会死掉，不希望她死掉就追过去吧。」

The Rain Pou in the crystal ball continued running, occasionally stopping to look to the sky. She probably knew she was being observed through a crystal ball, so it would seem she was taunting them.
水晶球裡的梦幻彩虹持续奔跑，偶尔会停下脚步望向天空。她应该知道自己正被人透过水晶球监视中，看来是在挑衅她们。

“What should we do? Shall we give chase? Or shall we wait here?”
「怎么办？要追过去吗？还是待在这裡？」

Wedin rushed out without another word. The hem of Frederica’s long skirt fluttered as she followed.
誓约薇汀二话不说衝了出去。菲列特莉嘉则是飞舞著长裙裙襬，跟在她身后。

“Wedin, you’re a little slow on your feet. Can’t you go any faster?”
「誓约薇汀，你的脚程有点慢耶。不能再跑快一点吗？」

“This is the second time I’ve been told that today…”
「这一点，光是今天就被人说了两次……」

She had to bet everything on this. There could be no regrets. She was going to save Tepsekemei and save this city. Wedin was their team leader, and this was only to be expected.
她要放手一搏，绝对不能留下任何遗憾。她要救回蒂普赛柯梅，并拯救这座城镇。誓约薇汀身为队长，这点事情是理所当然的。


☆ Kurukuru-hime (45 minutes remaining)

She had sat through 7753’s explanatory lecture. Kurukuru-hime could use a maximum of 216 ribbons.
她接受了7753的说明讲座。转转姬能够使用的缎带数量，最多为两百一十六条。

She could adjust each individual ribbon’s thickness at will, from 0.05cm to 50cm.
能够根据每一条缎带调整粗细，从约〇•〇五公釐至约五十公分为止。

The ribbons extended faster than Kurukuru-hime’s limbs could move, and if she concentrated on defense, she ought to be able to block Pukin’s attacks, 7753 had said.
缎带的伸展速度比转转姬本身动手或动脚的速度快，如果全力集中于防御的话，应该能够档下谱金的攻击。7753如是说。

And now, she was also doing as 7753 had said, using her ribbons to block a vicious thrust from behind and then landing. Pukin landed right after her, a disgruntled look on her face. Was she unhappy because she had thought that she could kill in a single attack, but her foe had evaded it? Or was it because she had sensed something else?
而她现在也按照7753所说，以缎带抵挡从身后刺过来的猛烈一击，然后著陆。紧接著也降落在地面上的谱金，摆出臭脸。这是因为原本以为一击就能毙命的攻击，竟遭对方闪避而不高兴，抑或是察觉到不寻常的事情？

After that, Pukin focused herself and attacked again. This time, Kurukuru-hime formed her ribbons into a shield and blocked it, but she did not have the strength to exploit the opportunity for a counterattack. Pukin was shockingly fast, and just keeping up with her was very draining. Kurukuru-hime put her index and middle finger together and curled them twice. This was a signal to the Magical Girls behind her. If she felt that they could overcome the opposition with brute force, then she would request aid. If not, she would signal them to stay away. This sign meant the latter. Even if the other Magical Girls came to help, she could not protect all of them. If Pukin focused her attacks on someone, there would surely be casualties.
接著，谱金确实地运气后再次发出一击。这一次转转姬用缎带做成盾牌挡住，但她并没有馀力抓住这个时机展开反击。谱金的动作快得惊人，光是要跟上动作就相当吃力。转转姬将中指与食指併拢后，弯了两次。这是在对背后的魔法少女们打暗号。如果觉得似乎可以用蛮力压制对方，就请求支援，不是的话，就发出别过来的暗号。这个暗号属于后者。即使其他魔法少女前来支援，她也无法彻底掩护每个人。若是谱金集中攻击某个人，势必会出现牺牲者。

Kurukuru-hime deflected the attack with her shield, and though she was tricked by Pukin’s feint, she barely managed to avoid the follow-up attack and then leapt away. Pukin’s speed was swifter than 7753 had predicted. She endured, blocked and shunted away attacks. Each blow was very powerful, and just defending against one of Pukin’s attacks was enough to make her bones creak. She could not carry on like this. The ribbons were very fast, but Kurukuru-hime’s own body could not keep up with them. If this kept up, she was sure to lose.
转转姬以盾牌挡开攻击，虽然被谱金发出的佯攻骗过，但仍然勉强避开连续攻击，向后跳开。谱金的速度比7753预测的更加迅速。承受、挡住、格开、威力都很强，光是为了防御谱金一次的攻击，就连骨头都叽嘎作响。不能再这样下去了。虽然缎带的速度很快，但转转姬本身的速度追不上。再这样下去，她一定会输掉。

Kurukuru-hime had separated off some of her ribbons, and she had covered her body with them. She narrowed the ribbons to their thinnest, made their tips narrow and long, and then pierced her body with her own ribbons.
转转姬先前解开一部分的缎带，覆满全身上下。她将缎带调整到极细、前端变得又尖又细，并让缎带刺入自己的身体。

Red blood dripped from her hands. Blood gushed out from where a blood vessel had been punctured. The moistness on her face was not from sweat, but blood. She could not take another one of Pukin’s attacks. Saying that she would be finished if she did was not an exaggeration.
红色的血滴从她的手上滴落，某处的血管被刺破而流出血来。她的脸会溼溼的，想必也不是流汗的关系，是血。她再也无法承受任何一次谱金的攻击。说她再承受一次，就完蛋也毫不夸张。

Pukin leaped and ran through the trees, and after kicking off the thickest trunk, she came at Kurukuru-hime from the back. Kurukuru-hime kept pace with Pukin’s movements because she was using her ribbons to move her body instead of her muscles. She whipped Pukin’s thrust away and blocked an attack with a ribbon shield. Her leg bones made a very ominous creaking sound, but they did not break.
谱金在树上穿梭、跳跃，踢向最粗壮的树干后，瞄淮转转姬的身后过来。转转姬跟上谱金的动作，如今她正使用缎带取代肌肉调动全身。她以缎带鞭开谱金的刺击，以缎带盾牌挡下攻击。腿骨发出不妙的叽嘎声，却没有骨折。

Unbearable pain coursed through her entire body. Even so, she still managed to keep up with Pukin’s movements. It hurt… but all she could do was grit her teeth and power through it. She could not stop here for any reason.
难忍的痛楚遍布她的全身上下。即使如此，她终究还是跟上了谱金的动作。痛楚……只能咬牙撑过去，绝对不能在这个时候停下来。

Otherwise, nobody else in this team could keep up with Pukin’s speed.
否则，这个小队裡没有其他魔法少女跟得上谱金的速度。

She had already made sure of the location of the barrier. If she could take Pukin on head to head, she had the option of guiding Pukin there. However, this was not so much a head to head battle as a desperate struggle not to let herself get killed.
她事先把握住结界的位置。另外有如果能够正面迎战，就把谱金诱导到那裡去的选项。但是眼前这副情况实在称不上是正面迎战的状态，只能说她正拼命地让自己不被杀死。

Her vision was turning red. Was it because the blood had flowed into her eyes, or because her eyes themselves were bleeding? Her bodily endurance could not keep up with her movements. Pukin stopped attack and looked at Kurukuru-hime with knotted brows. Did she find Kurukuru-hime’s inexplicable injuries suspicious?
视线被染红了。是血流到眼睛裡，还是眼睛流血了？她身体的承受力无法跟上动作。谱金停止了攻击，皱著眉头看向转转姬。是觉得自己莫名其妙地受伤的转转姬很可疑吗？

Pukin seemed to be saying something to her in English, but the words were spoken so fast that she could not make them out.
谱金似乎以英文对她说了些什么，但说话速度快到令人无法辨认。

Still, it was fine even if she could not understand. Thanks to that, she had a chance to catch her breath. Kurukuru-hime formed the ribbons on her right hand into a cone, spinning it at high speeds. This ribbon drill ought to be able to deflect Pukin’s sword. The focused firepower of the drill attack aimed at Pukin ended up digging into the ground because Kurukuru-hime’s foot stumbled.
就算不懂也没无妨，多亏如此，她总算能够稍微鬆一口气。转转姬将右手的缎带缠成圆锥状，以超高速旋转。如果是这个缎带电钻，应该能够弹开谱金的剑吧。集中火力朝谱金而去的电钻攻击，因为转转姬的脚绊了一下而凿向地面。

Pukin said something forcefully.
谱金发出充满气势的声音。

Pukin thrust her rapier at the kneeling Kurukuru-hime. Kurukuru-hime used all her strength to pull on a pre-tied ribbon, evading the rapier attack with the help of a ribbon which had been attached to a tree behind her beforehand. However, it could not make up for the fact that she had lost her balance. Thus, Pukin braced her rapier again, preparing to repeat her attack, and in response, Kurukuru-hime’s shield tripled in size, which she wielded forcefully.
谱金以细剑刺向跪倒在地的转转姬。转转姬用尽全力拉扯事先绑好的缎带，藉由跳向身后事先绑上缎带的树而躲过利剑攻击，但仍然无法改变她失去平衡的事实。于是，谱金打算再接再励发出一击而架起细剑，转转姬则是将盾牌增大三倍，用力挥舞。

Kurukuru-hime was not the attacker. Kurukuru-hime was a decoy and the person who would set things up for the attacker.
攻击手并不是转转姬，转转姬是诱饵兼举球员。

She swung her massive shield, and the dust carved out by the drill floated into the air.
挥舞著大大的盾牌，被电钻削出来的细小灰尘漫天扬起。


☆ Pythie Frederica (41 minutes remaining)

After confirming their forms, Rain Pou stopped running, but turned around and came right for them. It would seem the guess of “she was running around to force them out” was correct.
一旦确认了她们的身影，梦幻彩虹就停止逃跑,并且转过身朝她们而来。「为了逼她们追上来而四处跑」的猜测并没有错。

The three Magical Girls threw off sparks on the building.
三名魔法少女在大楼上迸出火花。

Frederica evaded Rain Pou, pulled Wedin into her crystal ball to help her evade Rain Pou, brought Wedin back again to help her dodge Rain Pou, and sent Wedin out through the crystal ball once more to help her dodge Rain Pou. Thanks to Wedin’s presence, there was no way they could fight.
菲列特莉嘉避开彩虹、把誓约薇汀拉进水晶球中助她闪躲彩虹、把誓约薇汀带回这裡后再助她闪避彩虹、再一次用水晶球送出誓约薇汀后，再助她闪避彩虹。这场战斗由于誓约薇汀的存在，根本打不起来。

Therefore, Frederica embraced Wedin and leaped off the building, kicking in a window and entering an apartment. They ran through a room past the eyes of the shocked residents and jumped out again from the other side, then passed under the the ribbon which came after them.
于是，菲列特莉嘉抱起誓约薇汀从大楼一跃而下，踢破窗户玻璃后入侵屋内，在吓得目瞪口呆的居民的注视下穿过房间后，从反方向的窗户跳出去，并从朝她们而来的彩虹下方钻了过去。

She had seen Rain Pou use her rainbows many times, so she was gradually able to grasp the properties of the rainbows. She would create a rainbow, and then extend it in mid-air to give it speed and power. There was a brief delay before it could be effectively used as a weapon, so she could not attack right after making a rainbow, which made evasion easy. The problem was the sheer number of rainbows. The fact that they could come from all directions made dodging them an exhausting experience. On top of that, she was even carrying a useless baggage, which put her in a dilemma.
她看过好几次梦幻彩虹使用彩虹的情形，因此逐渐掌握住彩虹的性质。产生彩虹后，再让彩虹在半空中延伸，藉此产生速度与威力。用来当武器会产生时间差，因此製造出彩虹后无法立即发动攻击，所以不难闪避。问题在于彩虹的数量多到惊人，以及会从四面八方袭来，光是为了避开全部的攻击就相当费力。更遑论她身边还带著一个拖油瓶，才会陷入进退两难的窘境。

It was easy enough to focus on running, but she could not launch an attack. If she tried, she would die. Fighting Rain Pou required throwing weapons of the kind Ripple had. Since she had to hold on to her crystal ball, Frederica only had one hand free, and even if she tried to put up resistance she would not be able to last more than 5 seconds.
如果只是一味逃跑，她还绰绰有馀，但绝对无暇进行攻击。一旦攻击就会反遭杀死；如果想跟梦幻彩虹战斗，就需要莉普儿那种等级的丢掷型武器。由于随时随地都得拿著水晶球，所以只有一隻手能够自由活动的菲列特莉嘉，即使挺身对抗也撑不过五秒钟。

“Wedin, I’d like to ask  you a question.”
「誓约薇汀，我想请问你一件事情。」

“Wha-what is it?”
「什、什么事？」

“I would like to know if I should prioritize saving your life or eliminating the enemy.”
「我想知道该以拯救你的性命为优先，还是收拾敌人为优先？」

“Eliminate the enemy.”
「收拾敌人。」

There was no hesitation at all in that reply, and Frederica smiled in satisfaction.
毫不迟疑地回答，菲列特莉嘉对这令人满意的回答微微一笑。

“Defeating the enemy may involve putting you in danger. Are you alright with that?”
「为了打倒敌人，有可能会让你身涉险境。即使这样也没关系吗？」

“It’s fine.”
「没关系。」

“In order to defeat the enemy, you must trust me. However, you hate me, do you not?”
「为了打倒敌人，你必须相信我才行。不过，你相当讨厌我吧？」

“I loathe you, but I trust you.”
「非常讨厌，但是我相信你。」

“Why are you so willing to believe me? I’m not a trustworthy person. I’ll leave you with bad memories. I highly recommend that you not trust me.”
「为什么你愿意相信我呢？我可是不值得信赖的对象喔。一定会让你留下讨厌的回忆，完全不推荐你相信我。」

“Because you won’t lie to me! Didn’t you promise me that before?”
「因为你不会对我说谎啊！你答应过我的吧？」

Saying so,  Wedin smiled, in a way that wiped away all her fear.
誓约薇汀如此说完后，露出一抹无所畏惧的笑容。


☆ Funny Trick (38 minutes remaining)

Both the objects that Funny Trick wished to switch had to be in a state where nobody could observe them. However, she could activate her Magical Skill in a short time.
惊喜魔技要对调的物体，必须两者都处在不会被人看到的状态下。只不过，即使只有短短一瞬间也能够发动魔法。

Also, she had to be certain of the location of the objects she would be switching. It could not be just “somewhere near that area” or “it should be around that region”.

She watched Kurukuru-hime and Pukin’s chanbara-like display of martial skill, quietly waiting for the right moment. She had a smoke bomb from Mana under her cape, and all she had to do was use it at the right moment. Frankly speaking, the way 7753 had taught her to use her Magical Skill made her skin crawl, but after seeing the devastated city and the fallen people, and Pukin savoring it all with a gleeful look on her face, her fears vanished like they had never been.
她以视线追著转转姬与谱金上演的全武行，静候时机的来临。斗篷下藏著麻奈给的烟雾弹，只要在恰当时机使用就行了。老实说，7753指导的魔法使用方法令她感到毛骨悚然，但当她一看到被破坏的小镇、倒下的人们，以及一脸愉快地欣赏这一切的谱金，恐惧的心情便消失得无影无踪。

Kurukuru-hime was completely pinned down by her opposition, with no strength left to fight back. Her entire body was bleeding, spurting blood even when she had not been hit, dying the her ballerina-style Magical Girl costume a bright red.
转转姬完全被对方压制住，毫无反击的馀力。而且全身上下都在流血，明明没有遭到攻击却不断喷血，芭蕾舞者风格的魔法少女装扮被染成一片鲜红。

Their movements were so swift that one could blink and they would miss them; just following them with her eyes was hard enough for Funny Trick. But she could not avert her eyes. She had to carefully follow Pukin’s face.
两人的动作快到令人目不暇给，惊喜魔技光是用眼睛追赶就相当吃力。但她绝对不能移开目光，她必须紧紧盯著谱金的脸才行。

Pukin seemed to be saying something to Kurukuru-hime, and Kurukuru-hime made a sharp object in response, and let it spin. Kurukuru-hime drilled it into the floor, watched for the opening in Pukin’s attack, and forcefully scraped at the pre-dug ground. Funny Trick saw Pukin’s expression. In order to keep the dust from getting into her eyes, Pukin reflexively blinked.
谱金似乎对转转姬说了些什么，转转姬则是用缎带做出某种尖锐的物体，并让其旋转起来。转转姬凿向地面，看淮谱金攻击过去的空档，用力地掮著挖凿过的地面。惊喜魔技看到了谱金的表情。为了防止扬起的粉尘进入眼睛，谱金反射性地眨了眼。

That was it! In the split-second opening when her eye blinked, Funny Trick activated her Magical Skill.
就是现在！眨眼一瞬间的空档！惊喜魔技发动了魔法。

Pukin’s organ, which was no longer visible thanks to her blinking, switched places with the smoke bomb in her hand.
将谱金因为眨眼而看不到的那个器官，与手上的烟雾弹掉包。

Funny Trick pulled open her cape, and Pukin’s eyeball fell to the ground just like that.
惊喜魔技掀开斗篷，在斗篷下的谱金眼球就这样掉落在地面上。

Pukin wailed and grabbed her eye, whereupon it promptly exploded. Smoke streamed out of Pukin’s head, and the white feather that was on her head fell slowly, dancing as the wind blew it.
谱金发出惨叫并按住一隻眼睛，接著那个部分立刻爆炸。谱金的头部窜出烟雾，原本装饰在头上的白色羽毛缓缓飘落，在风的吹拂下飞舞。

It might have been a smoke bomb, but it was powerful enough to blow off fingers. In the place of an eyeball… that is, if it went off near the brain, it would probably be fatal even for a Magical Girl. Even if that Magical Girl was Pukin.
虽然是烟雾弹，却拥有能够炸飞手指的威力。眼球……也就是在脑袋附近爆炸的话，即使是魔法少女恐怕也会造成致命伤。就算对方是谱金也不例外。

“We did it… we did it!”
「太好了……太好了！」

Funny Trick cheered, while Kurukuru-hime collapsed, her shoulders rising and falling violently and gasping for air.
惊喜魔技发出欢呼，转转姬则是无力地瘫坐在地上，肩膀剧烈起伏，不断喘气。

Pukin’s arms drooped powerlessly and she went to her right knee, but she got up in the next moment and thrust her rapier.
谱金双手无力地垂下、右膝跪地，但下一秒立刻站起来，并刺出手中的剑。

Kurukuru-hime had not expected to be attacked at all, and the rapier pierced her throat. Funny Trick could not dodge in time, and was hit square in the chest by a thrown dagger.
完全没料到会遭到攻击的转转姬，在毫无防备的状态下遭细剑刺中喉咙，惊喜魔技则是闪避不及，被扔掷出来的小剑命中胸口。

What on earth had happened? There was blood flowing out of the dagger lodged in her chest… as well as something else important. Pukin pulled out the rapier stuck in Kurukuru-hime’s neck, and she was showered in a spray of blood. Funny Trick saw it. Pukin’s face… her right eyesocket was blown apart, leaving a large hole.
到底发生了什么事？从插在她胸前的小剑涌出的是鲜血……以及某种相当重要的事物。谱金拔出刺入转转姬脖子的细剑，全身沾满飞溅回来的鲜血。惊喜魔技看到了。谱金的脸……右眼窝一带确实被炸开一个大洞。

--How… why had she…!
——为什么……到底是为什么……！

Funny Trick pressed against the dagger, but the blood refused to stop flowing. Unable to bear it, Funny Trick staggered, and unable to regain her balance, she fell directly backwards.
惊喜魔技压住小剑，血却仍然流个不停。惊喜魔技承受不住地踉跄了一下，无力取回平衡的她就这样笔直地向后倒下。

Was it over? Would it end like this? No, it would not. Shihabara Umi would not give up easily. That being the case, Shihabara Umi’s friend could not possibly be an exception. Funny Trick grabbed her chest, then turned over and crawled along the ground.
结束了吗？就这样结束了吗？不，不会的。芝原海绝对不会轻言放弃，既然如此，芝原海的伙伴一定也不例外。惊喜魔技按住胸口，翻过身来沿著地面爬行。


☆Rain Pou (37 minutes remaining)

She swayed and dodged from side to side to evade attacks. However, it did not feel like she was dodging rainbows as much she was using the building’s structure to prevent the rainbows from focusing on her, and to disrupt the offensive. To think she could do that much while burdened with a massive piece of baggage like Wedin. The mere difference of having and not having a crystal ball made her movements seem completely different from the time they last faced off.
摇摆不定、东躲西闪地躲避攻击。然而，比起闪避彩虹，更像是在利用大楼的构造或地形妨碍彩虹集中、阻断攻势的感觉。抱著誓约薇汀这么大的行李，竟然能够做到这个地步。仅仅只是有无水晶球的差别，对方的动作看起来与上一次对峙时简直判若两人。

Rain Pou harried and attacked Frederica, and there was a grenade with its safety pin pulled on the roof of the building where she had landed. She defended herself with a rainbow wall, then slashed at the hand which had appeared from mid-air to attack her in time with the explosion.  Thanks to repeating the same pattern of attacks, she had not managed to close the distance between them.
梦幻彩虹追赶、攻击菲列特莉嘉，降落的大楼顶楼地面躺著一颗已经拉开安全栓的手榴弹。她以彩虹牆壁进行防御，接著砍向配合爆炸的时机点，凭空出现在半空中并攻击过来的左手。由于一直在重複如此行为模式的关系，导致她迟迟无法缩短彼此的距离。

They moved from the high-rise to a department store, from the department store to the train station, threaded through racing police cars and ambulances, the two girls sprinting faster than human beings could discern.
从大楼至百货，再从百货至车站，从奔驰中的警车与救护车之间穿梭而过，两名少女以人类无法辨识的速度狂奔。

--Two?
——两名？

Wedin had vanished at some point. Had Frederica treated her as actual baggage and dumped her somewhere? Frederica’s Magical Skill could allow Wedin to reach a safe location anywhere, at any time. Given Frederica’s personality, it was very likely she would have used Wedin as a sacrifice and then escaped by herself. It was likely that they had sealed some kind of deal. After all, it was far too dangerous to be on the same side as Frederica without any conditions in place.
誓约薇汀在不知不觉间消失了。菲列特莉嘉把她当成一般的行李，暂时寄放在某处吗？只要透过菲列特莉嘉的魔法，随时随地都能让誓约薇汀逃离至安全地点。以菲列特莉嘉的个性来说，极有可能献上誓约薇汀当活祭品，再趁机独自逃脱。看来她们订下了某种契约吧。毕竟在没有任何规范的情况下，与菲列特莉嘉站在同一阵线实在太危险了。

In addition, Wedin would only get in the way now that Rain Pou had stopped up her ears. However, even if her movements had been freed up, she did not need to fear Frederica by herself.
而誓约薇汀在梦幻彩虹堵住自己耳朵的情况下，确实也只会碍手碍脚而已。不过，即使行动变自由了，但只有菲列特莉嘉一人根本不足为惧。

It might be slow going, but she was gradually closing in. Pukin’s orders were absolute! She would herd Frederica to a place where there was no escape, and then finish her off from there. Frederica leaped over the ticket gate and neatly slid into a passenger car as the doors were about to close.
就算很缓慢也没关系，就这样逐渐逼近。谱金的命令是绝对的！将菲列特莉嘉诱导至无路可逃的地点后，在那裡给予致命一击。菲列特莉嘉飞身跳越车站入口处的剪票口，俐落地滑进即将关上车门的电车车厢。

Rain Pou was not upset. She would go anywhere to achieve Pukin’s orders. It was only when Rain Pou had gotten onto the train, hot on Frederica’s heels, that she realised that she had fallen into a trap.
梦幻彩虹并不为此感到懊恼，只要能够达成谱金的命令，哪裡她都愿意去。直到梦幻彩虹紧跟在菲列特莉嘉之后跳上电车，她才明白自己中了圈套。

Wedin was in the train. The passenger car she had entered had no other riders, just Wedin holding a one meter square of paper, standing like the Immovable Bright King. Written in big letters on the paper were: “Stop. You are not to harm anyone.” Upon seeing this, Rain Pou obeyed… obeyed Wedin’s Magical Skill.
誓约薇汀在电车裡。她跳进的车厢没有其他乘客，只有高举著一张长宽皆一公尺的正方形模造纸的誓约薇汀，彷彿不动明王般站著。纸上则是写著大大的「停止动作。不淮伤害任何人」几个字，看到这个的梦幻彩虹遵照指示……遵照誓约薇汀的魔法行事。

The train started up. Rain Pou could not move. Frederica was not here. She had been tricked. Frederica had sent Wedin somewhere to let Wedin draw up her posters, and after she was done, she had waited inside the train car. After that. Frederica fled into the train car and brought Rain Pou before Wedin.
电车开动了。梦幻彩虹动弹不得。菲列特莉嘉不在这裡，她上当了。菲列特莉嘉将誓约薇汀送到某处，让誓约薇汀在该处写大字报，淮备好后在电车内待命。然后，菲列特莉嘉再逃进电车车厢，将梦幻彩虹送至誓约薇汀的面前。

Wedin threw away the first poster and pulled out another piece. “Return your ears to a condition where they can hear and then do as I say.” Rain Pou could not resist. When she dispelled the rainbows from her ears, the sound of the train’s movements immediately gained volume, filling the depths of her body.
当誓约薇汀一丢开模造纸，便出现第二张。上面写著「让耳朵恢复成听得见的状态，并根据我的指示行事」。梦幻彩虹无法反抗。当她一撤掉耳中的彩虹，电车行驶的声音立刻放大音量，直达她的身体深处。

“Very good, next, I forbid you to defy me, I order you to release Tepsekemei from that ball, and to escape with me from--”
「很好，接下来绝对禁止你做出任何忤逆我的事情，将蒂普赛柯梅从那颗球裡释放出来，跟我一起从这辆电车——」

Before she could finish her order, Wedin fell down. The hand floating in mid-air which had made Wedin fall down vanished, and in the next moment Wedin’s body was sent flying as though hit by something. After that, Rain Pou was also hit by something invisible to the naked eye. The impact struck her square on the forehead, but even so, she still could not move. The rainbow ball hit the floor, and another impact occurred. The back door of the train car approached, and it would seem Rain Pou would no longer be able to complete Pukin’s orders.
命令还没说完，誓约薇汀就倒下了。让誓约薇汀倒下的、飘浮于半空中的左手消失不见，下一秒誓约薇汀的身体似乎遭到某种东西撞击而弹飞，接著梦幻彩虹的身体也撞上某个肉眼看不到的东西。那股衝击直达脑门，即使如此，她还是动弹不得，彩虹球落到地板上，再度发生撞击，车厢的后门瞬间逼近，看来梦幻彩虹无法达成谱金的命令了。


☆ Pythie Frederica (37 minutes remaining)

Even from this distance, the shaking of the earth and the roar of the explosion could be felt through the road. An empty can on the ground rattled as it shook. The train had probably derailed not far outside the city, and it was not hard to imagine how major an accident it was.
即使来到距离这么远的地方，地面的震动与撞击的轰隆声响仍然能够透过道路传达过来。倒在她脚边的空罐喀哒喀哒地晃动著。电车恐怕就在市外不远处脱轨，不难想像会是多么严重的事故。

Someone shouted and ran towards the train station. Were they just going there to gawk? Or were they worried about someone? With all the accidents that had happened today, it was a miracle that person was still so energetic.
有人一边大叫一边朝车站的方向跑去。只是单纯凑热闹吗？还是在担心谁呢？光是今天一整天就发生那么多事故或事件，真亏这个人还能够如此活力充沛。

Frederica hopped onto a vending machine in the alley, and kicked off from one window frame to another until she reached the roof. Thick, black smoke rose from the train station, and the countless rainbows everywhere faded away and eventually vanished.
菲列特莉嘉踩上巷弄裡的自动贩卖机，踢著窗框一路直达大楼顶端。车站的方向窜出浓浓黑烟，原本四处林立的彩虹逐渐变淡，最终消失不见。

Wedin had ordered her to prioritize eliminating the enemy, and that had overwritten the promise she had implanted in Frederica’s brain. Frederica had obeyed Wedin’s order. Sacrificing Wedin’s life was the best choice in order to decisively eliminate Rain Pou.
誓约薇汀命令她以击退敌人为第一优先，因而确实地洗掉原本设定在菲列特莉嘉脑内的约定。菲列特莉嘉听从了誓约薇汀的命令。为了确实打倒梦幻彩虹，在那种情况下让誓约薇汀牺牲性命是最好的选择。

She had lured Rain Pou into the cramped cabin and allowed Rain Pou to run into Wedin. While Frederica had already told Wedin to immediately escape after dealing with Rain Pou, allowing them both to escape would go against the objective of defeating Rain Pou. Thus, Frederica had knocked Wedin down, and the train had driven out of the city. After that, Wedin and Rain Pou had been trapped between the train and the barrier, and the train had derailed.
将梦幻彩虹引诱至狭窄的车厢中，让梦幻彩虹在那裡碰上誓约薇汀。虽然菲列特莉嘉事前告诉誓约薇汀，处置好梦幻彩虹后就立刻逃离电车，但是她们一起逃脱的话，就会远离打倒梦幻彩虹的目标。于是，菲列特莉嘉让誓约薇汀倒下，而电车驶到了市外。然后，誓约薇汀与梦幻彩虹被夹在结界与电车之间，而电车脱轨了。

The sense of duty that led people to believe that nobody else but they could do it and that they had to complete their mission no matter what made people misjudge their ability. Frederica had seen countless Magical Girls die for precisely that reason.
认为非自己不可、绝对要完成计画的使命感，会让人误判自己的实力，。菲列特莉嘉已经看过无数的魔法少女因此身亡。

--That’s why I told you not to trust someone like me.
——所以，我才告诉过你不可以相信我这种人嘛。

Rain Pou was defeated and Wedin, who had bound her, was dead. Now there was only one important thing left. She could not flee this city without obtaining that object.
打倒梦幻彩虹了，束缚住她的誓约薇汀也已经死了。现在只剩下一件重要的事情，她绝对不能在没有得到那东西的情况下逃离这座城市。

“...Hm?”
「……嗯？」

She narrowed her eyes, and saw a faint humanoid shape rise into the sky.
当她定睛一看，便见一道淡淡的人影朝空中飞去。

“To think you could actually survive a situation like that. Unbelievable.”
「那种情况下还能够存活下来，还真是不得了。」

Frederica muttered to herself in a tone of stunned awe.
菲列特莉嘉半钦佩半错愕地喃喃自语。


☆7753 (33 minutes remaining)

Pukin’s face was missing a big chunk, and smoke spewed out of the missing portion. Not even a Magical Girl could survive that. 7753 viewed  Pukin through her goggles. Pukin’s status was abnormal. It was terrible. Unbelievably enough, Pukin had managed to cheat death.
谱金的脸缺了一大块，从缺少的部分喷出灰色的烟雾。即使是魔法少女也不可能活下来。7753透过护目镜观察谱金。谱金的状态相当奇怪，简直是遭透了。想不到，谱金竟然能够欺骗生命。

Pukin’s face had a red line on it. One second before the smoke bomb had exploded, she had cut herself on her face and used her Magical Skill. She had placed herself under the delusion that “she had not taken any damage at all”.
谱金的脸颊上有一条红线。在烟雾弹爆炸的前一秒，她用自己的剑割伤自己并施展魔法，她让自己产生「完全没有受到任何损伤的错觉」。

Pukin’s brain should have suffered major damage, which was not something a mere delusion could overcome. A delusion alone… it was not just a delusion. Apart from the magically applied delusion, Pukin’s bodily data was very abnormal. In any case, the heart marks representing her lifeforce were far too numerous.
谱金的大脑应该已经遭到严重的毁损，不可能凭著错觉克服这个问题。只靠错觉……不对，不只错觉。除了透过魔法加诸的错觉，谱金本身的数据实在相当异常。再怎么说，显示生命力的爱心符号数量也太多了。

“Looks like things are getting more and more interesting! Ha!”
「看来事情越来越有趣了呢！哈！」

Pukin flicked her rapier, sending droplets of blood flying. Kurukuru-hime had fallen, clutching her throat, while Funny Trick was holding her chest. Blood welled up endlessly from between the fingers pressed against their bodies; the goggles indicated that they were both fatally wounded.
谱金甩了甩细剑，点点血渍飞溅。转转姬按住喉咙倒下，惊喜魔技则是按住胸口，两人都是处于不断有鲜血从按住身体的指缝间涌出的状态；护目镜也显示出她们都受到了致命伤。

Knowing full well that she was useless on the battlefield, 7753 gripped the wand which launched flame pellets and stepped forward. Her fear had grown surprisingly faint. She believed that she had to take responsibility here.
7753在明知自己派不上用场的前提下，握住能够发射火焰子弹的魔法杖并走向前。恐惧感变得相当淡薄，她认为自己必须负起责任才行。

She could not beat Pukin, and she would be killed. Even so, she had to fight to the very end. Until now, every word and every deed of hers had been founded upon lies. At least, at the very end, she wanted to die like an amazing Magical Girl.
她不可能战胜谱金，她会被杀死。即使如此，她也要奋战到最后一刻。一路走到这裡为止，她的一言一行都是建立在谎言之上，至少在最后要以了不起的魔法少女姿态死去。

As 7753 prepared to take another step forward, she was suddenly knocked down from behind.
当7753打算再向前踏出一步时，突然遭人从身后揍飞而倒地。

“W-what are you doing?”
「你.你干什么？」

“Interfering busybody, get the hell out of here!”
「碍事的家伙，还不快逃！」

Mana sent 7753 flying with the tip of her staff.
麻奈以魔法杖的前端将7753打飞。

“Don’t think dying here is how you show your sense of responsibility. Go do what you should be doing -- that is to say, running by yourself. I’m staying to fight. This bitch is the one who killed Hana.”
「你别以为在这裡战死就是负责任的表现。做你现在最该做的事情，也就是你独自一人逃跑。我要留下来战斗，那家伙是羽菜的仇人。」

Mana had three syringes in her neck. They were empty. Then, she injected three more into her neck, and her entire body was twitching and trembling.
麻奈的脖子上插著三把注射器，裡面已经空无一物。接著，麻奈又在脖子上插入三把注射器，整个人彷彿痉挛般颤动不已。

“Bring it, you fucking fencer!”
「放马过来吧！混帐剑士！」

“Insolence!”
「放肆！」

Matching her timing to Pukin’s reaction to hearing the words “Bring it”, Mana launched a preemptive strike. Mana used her staff as a lance, thrusting repeatedly at Pukin, and faced with the sudden attack, Pukin deflected with her rapier. Their speed and strength were evenly matched. The rapier and the Gnarled Staff clashed with equal force. She did not know how long the forbidden medicine Mana used could last. The goggles told her that it was 15 seconds. That was enough time for 7753 to escape. 7753 knew very well that she barely had enough time to think, and so she ran with all her might.
配合谱金听到「放马过来」后打算往前踏出的时机点，麻奈率先发动攻击。麻奈将魔法杖当成长枪使用，连续刺向谱金，冷不防遭到攻击的谱金则是以细剑阻挡。不管是速度或是力气都不分上下。细剑与歪七扭八的魔法杖，势均力敌地相互抗衡著。不晓得麻奈的禁药效力能够维持多久。透过护目镜计算出来的数字为十五秒。有这些时间的话，确实够7753用来逃命。7753心裡很明白连思索的时间都不够，于是她立刻拔腿飞奔。

Dying to fulfil your responsibilities, that was an utterly foolish way of thinking. Before she had been knocked to her senses by Mana, she had truly believed that. Mana was right; she would not be forgiven just because she had died.
死掉就是负责任，真是愚蠢至极的想法。在被麻奈揍醒之前，她真的这么想。麻奈说的没错，她并不会因为死掉就获得原谅。

7753 leaped toward Pukin’s left arm and held it down forcefully. Mana seemed to be using all her strength, but all that could be said was that Pukin’s right arm was holding off Mana’s entire body. 7753 stopped the hand trying to stab at Mana’s side, and in the end her arm was hurt, blood flying everywhere.
7753跳向谱金的左手并用力压住。麻奈似乎已经使出全力，但只能说是谱金的右手在对抗麻奈全身的力气而已。7753制止谱金打算刺向麻奈侧腹部的左手，结果就是手臂受伤、血溅四步。

“I told you to run, didn’t I! You think you can take responsibility by dying? How naive! I won’t let you think like that!”
「我明明就叫你快逃！以为死掉就是负责任的想法，太天真了！我绝对不允许你这么想！」

“I apologize! I’m sorry! Thinking that I could fulfil my responsibilities by dying was very naive! I won’t entertain such foolish ideas again! It won’t happen again!”
「我道歉！对不起！以为死掉就是负责任的想法，确实太天真了！我绝对不会再有这种愚蠢的念头！绝对不会再有下一次！」

The wound on her arm was growing, and it gouted fresh blood. She was not strong enough to fully suppress Pukin’s brute strength.
手臂上的伤口逐渐扩大，不断喷出鲜血，她没办法完全压制住谱金的蛮力。

“That’s why I told you to run! Idiot! Moron! Dumbass! What the hell are you doing?! What on earth are you doing!”
「所以我才叫你快逃啊！笨蛋！呆瓜！蠢蛋！你到底在做什么啊！到底在干么！」

“I’m taking responsibility! All we need to do is defeat her!”
「我要负起责任！只要打倒她就可以了吧！」

Pukin pressed back with even more force, and 7753 felt like her arm was going to come out of its socket. 7753 raised her head to the sky and screamed so hard that spittle came out with her words:
谱金以更强的劲道反压过来，7753的手臂似乎快要脱臼了。7753仰头看向天空，喷著口水激动地大喊：

“Please!”
「拜託了！」

Faster than 7753’s spit could hit the ground, Kurukuru-hime’s ribbons lashed out.
比7753喷出来的飞沫坠落地面的速度更快的是转转姬的缎带。

The flame of Kurukuru-hime’s life was extinguished. She could not move her fingers, let alone her arms. However, Kurukuru-hime had not yet completely lost consciousness. Her eyes which gazed on Pukin seethed with hatred and anger, and her sheer malice halted her before the abyss of death.
转转姬的生命之灯已经熄灭，别说是手腕，就连手指的指尖也动不了。然而，转转姬还没有完全失去意识。看著谱金的视线饱含沸腾的怨恨与怒火，执著与怨念让她在死亡的深渊前停下脚步。

Kurukuru-hime’s ribbons moved swiftly, expanding to their maximum width of 50 centimeters, wrapping up Pukin as 7753 could no longer hold her. As 7753 fell backwards and away from Pukin, the ribbons collapsed limply. There was a thud as a rock fell out of the ribbons, rolling along the ground until it hit a stout tree root and stopped.
转转姬的缎带迅速滑动，宽度拓展至最大五十公分的极限，将与7753僵持不下的谱金团团包围起来。在7753倒向后方、离开谱金的同时，缎带也无力地崩塌坠落。接著咚的一声，从缎带裡掉出石头，在地面上滚动，直到撞上粗壮的树根后才停住。

Kurukuru-hime was not the only one who remained conscious. Oozing a trail of blood behind her, using all her strength in order to crawl to this place, Funny Trick had used her Magical Skill on Pukin, who had vanished within range of her Magical Skill.
仍然残留有意识的，不只转转姬一人。一路留下血迹、拼死爬到这裡来的惊喜魔技，对被缎带团团包住而消失在视线范围内的谱金使用了魔法。

Mana had long since collapsed from the effects of the medicine, while 7753 was on her knees and clutching her arm. She was quite surprised by the fact that she was still alive. Funny Trick and Kurukuru-hime… according to the goggles, they had breathed their last. They had used their final trump card  and combined their Magical Skills to finally defeat Pukin, had overcome the inevitable death that stretched before them with indomitable willpower, and not even the mighty Pukin could finish them off. Pukin had underestimated their tremendous stamina, unbreakable will and the sheer burning hatred of seeing their family and friends being killed.
麻奈因为禁药效力已过而昏倒，7753则是按住手臂蹲在地上。对于自己还活著的事情，她只觉得不可思议到了极点。惊喜魔技与转转姬……根据护目镜显示，已经彻底断了气。使出最后一张王牌I以所剩无几的魔法成功压过谱金，以顽强的意志力抵抗横亘在眼前的无法逃避的死亡，就连谱金这般的强者也无能成功给予她们致命的一击。谱金小看了她们强韧的生命力、顽强的意志力，以及家人与朋友被杀的强烈恨意。

7753 cast her eyes toward the stacked logs. Blood oozed from within. That was a true, proper trump card. They had hidden a rock inside the logs. The rock was about the size of a child’s head, and it was not enchanted in any way, which was why it could touch the barrier. They had placed the rock on the boundary line of the barrier.
7753将视线投向堆迭起来的木料，鲜血从木料的内侧溢出，这才是货真价实的最后一张王牌。
她们在堆迭的木料裡放置石头。体积约与孩童头部一般大的普通石头，并没有施展任何魔法，因此才能接触结界。她们将石头设置在结界的分界点上。

Kurukuru-hime had covered up Pukin, and Funny Trick had switched Pukin and the rock. Pukin had been shifted into a place where the barrier existed, and as for how she had fared, one could look at the blood pouring out from the logs to tell.
转转姬以缎带覆盖住谱金，惊喜魔技则是对调谱金与石头的位置。谱金被移动至有结界的地点，其结界如何，从堆迭的木料裡流出来的血量即可明白。

That move could only be used when Pukin was immobilized, so at least she had been useful… 7753 sighed, and knitted her brows because of the pain coming from her arm. Just as she was about to stand up, the pile of logs began to collapse.
这一招只有在谱金动弹不得的状态下才能够使用，自己多少派上用场了吧……7753叹了一口气，因手臂传来的痛楚忍不住皱眉，正当她打算站起来时，木料小山竟然开始崩塌。

A hand reached out of the fallen logs. Something was crawling out from inside. 7753 had been planning to stand up, but she fell again, landing heavily on her butt.
一隻手从崩塌的木料中伸出来，有东西从裡面爬了出来。原本打算站起来的7753再度跌倒，屁股用力地跌坐在地上。

“Arara… what a meaningless little trick.”
「哎呀呀……还真是无趣的小伎俩呀。」

Her face was missing a huge chunk, her body was dyed red with her own blood, and she was covered in wood shavings. Only the upper half of her body was slowly crawling forward. The other half was on the other side of the barrier. Though her body was cut in two, even trailing her innards behind her, Pukin was still crawling out like nothing was the matter. Even though her body was in this state, her right hand gripped her rapier tightly, aiming it at 7753. What was making her so happy? Pukin had a smile on her face.
脸部缺了一大块，全身上下都被自己的鲜血染红，并且沾满木屑。只有上半身半拖半拉地缓缓爬行，下半身则是在结界的另一端。身体被切成两半，即使得拖著内脏，谱金仍然毫不在意地爬了出来.，即使身体变成这副模样，右手依旧紧握著细剑不放，并对淮了7753。到底是哪一点令她感到愉快？谱金的脸上带著笑容。

“You are the last, then? Very well. I shall finish you off right now.”
「你是最后一个吧。很好，马上送你下地狱。」

7753 could not move as Pukin’s remaining eye fixed her with a deathly glare. Her resolve and her fighting spirit had vanished like smoke in the wind. On the verge of being consumed by terror, 7753 looked to the sky.
被谱金剩下的那隻眼死瞪著的7753完全动弹不得。无论是觉悟还是斗志，全部都被吹得烟消云散，在自己即将遭到恐惧感吞噬的情形下，7753望向天空。

“Ah…”
「啊……」

Suddenly, she realised that Tepsekemei was flying this way. Her body was very thin, which had greatly increased her flying speed, and she was now faster than the wind. Even so, she would not be faster than the blade of the dying Pukin.
赫然发现蒂普赛柯梅正朝这裡飞来。她的身体很薄，飞行速度也因此提升不少，名副其实的超越风速。即使如此，仍然赶不上濒死的谱金所挥下的那一剑。

Just as Pukin’s sword was about to thrust at 7753’s face, someone’s left hand appeared out of thin air, savagely rapping the back of Pukin’s wrist, and the sound of bone splintering rang out. Pukin’s rapier dropped to the ground, and while she tried to grab it with the other hand, that someone’s left hand had already picked up the rapier and vanished. Pukin’s left hand clawed through empty space, and Tepsekemei descended from the heavens. In the blink of an eye, Tepsekemei burrowed into the hole in the immobile Pukin’s face. Pukin’s expression stiffened, and less than a second later, her body exploded from the inside. The shreds of Pukin’s clothes scattered in all directions, her frilly collar flew into the grass, and chunks of ruptured innards were thoroughly spread over a ten meter radius.
当谱金手上的剑即将刺向7753脸部的瞬间，凭空出现的某人的左手狠狠地从谱金的手腕上方敲了下去，骨头碎裂的声响传来。谱金手中的细剑滑落在地，虽然她立刻想以反手握住剑，但那个某人的左手早一步拾起细剑，消失不见。谱金的左手扑了个空，蒂普赛柯梅从天而降。蒂普赛柯梅一溜烟地从动弹不得的谱金脸上的大洞钻进体内，谱金的表情变得僵硬，不到一秒的时间全身便从内侧炸开来。谱金的衣服碎片四散，波浪状的皱褶领飞进草丛中，炸裂的内脏碎块毫无一丝缝隙地填满半径十公尺以内的空间。

Bathed in this rain of blood, 7753 thought that she ought to at least express her thanks. By the time she lifted her head to look at Tepsekemei, she realised that there were tears on Tepsekemei’s face. Her lips were slightly pursed, and she looked like she did not want to cry, but the tears were still flowing.
沐浴在血雨之中的7753心想至少得表达一下谢意才行。当她抬起头来望向蒂普赛柯梅时，发现蒂普赛柯梅的脸上淌著泪水。嘴唇稍微向前都起，露出一副不喜欢哭泣的表情，迳自流著眼泪。

“Where… is Rain Pou?”
「请问……梦幻彩虹呢？」

“Dead. Wedin’s dead too. Everyone’s dead.”
「死了。誓约薇汀也死掉了。大家都死翘翘了。」

Everyone was dead. Rain Pou, Wedin, Kurukuru-hime and Funny Trick were all dead. Perhaps her superior had seen the deaths of Pukin and Rain Pou through her goggles. That way, Foreign Affairs would no longer need to use the weapon of mass destruction.
全员都死掉了。梦幻彩虹、誓约薇汀、转转姬与惊喜魔技都死掉了。也许开会中的上司已经透过护目镜，得知谱金与梦幻彩虹已经死亡的事实。如此一来，外交部就没有理由使用大规模毁灭性武器。

「小梅现在在笑吗？」

“No… you’re crying.”
「不……你正在哭。」

“I didn’t practice it, but I can do it… why is that…”
