Terada Storytime: OG Prequel

The Cutting Room Floor
A long while back, I planned out an SRW OG spinoff story. It would've taken place two decades before the main game, and it would star Dr. Bian Zoldak and Maier Branstein facing off against a mysterious enemy. This was before robotic weapons existed in the setting, so they were going to fight with powered suits and things like that.

Bian would've been the hot-blooded one, while Maier would've been the coolheaded one (Based on Rai, but acts like Elzam). There also would've been a female lead, the woman who would go on to become Lüne's mother. In addition, they would have had a supporting robotics developer, a younger Kisaburo Azuma (who later went on to overhaul Compatible Kaiser).

The enemies would have included Archibald Grims' forebear, and we wanted to include elements from Chokijin Denki (TL note: A manga about RyuKoOh lore) and La Gias, and make it an OG prequel of sorts. Sadly, it never panned out.

We would've included the phrase "Gaia Saviors" in the title, and the enemy organization was going to be named Badim (TL note: Same name as the enemy organization in Super Hero Sakusen, and Viletta's last name). It was meant to be enjoyed whether or not you were already familiar with SRW OG lore, but, well... With all the ideas we kept throwing in, it might've ended up with some inconsistencies. ^_^;

I doubt it would work as a video game or an anime (You'd need to get a lot of things to line up for that), so if we ever fleshed this out, it would probably be in manga or novel form.
