Grey, in a place like this...
You're bringing this display case?

Grey:
Oh mother, you're here!
I wanted to show off our work to everyone
So that's why I brought this portable display to show the artwork we both did together
To show our artwork that inspires feelings of dread and uneasiness
I'm so excited to see how people react to this!
Well, more like if we can actually bring it
Those damn bandits damaged it a lot a few minutes ago
Now I have to repair this thing from scratch
And hope that I can get this all done before the festival resumes

Kagerou:
Is that so...
However, I saw some of your work too, it was quite nice
From what I saw yesterday
But if we had more time to work on it...

Grey:
Well, it's all thanks to you I was able to do this
Learning all these from you from when I was young
Just looking at your paintings as inspiration for mine, I was able to find my own technique
I like your sensibility when it comes to these types of things
And how your paintings show things that people don't often want to say out loud

Kagerou:
!?

Grey:
Didn't you know? Every time I paint these thing
I'm always trying to emulate you! (Something about a juniper tree which was some Japanese proverb I didn't understand)

Kagerou:
Amazing...

Grey:
This is what I hope for, mother.
When the country is at peace and we are no longer busy
Can we try to do stuff like this more often, just the two of us?

Kagerou:
Heh, an art exhibit?

Grey:
I want to expand farther than this portable exhibit
When we have more spare time in the future, I want to spend it with you, mother
I'm going to work on such creations like yours
To emulate a mother who has a rare sensibility like you
And with the dexterity in our hands
I can see this becoming pretty fun in the future!

Kagerou:

Grey:
What's wrong?
Is this unpleasant?
Or will father be unhappy with this?
I know you don't want to say it, but I know that your duty as a ninja is important as well

Kagerou:
No. I'm not worried about that
You are skillful and have the ability to make great works
I know your father would be proud too
Because I am happy you found something to be passionate about

Grey:
Both of you being happy about art?
Am I hearing things right?

Kagerou:
Of course...
There is no reason for me to refuse such a proposal

Grey:
Thank you.
I now have something to look forward to in the future
Well, first, we have to get the repairs done first
Then we can begin our work!

Kagerou:

As a parent, I should say that, "We need to get rid of the bandits first"
But I know I don't have to say that
I look forward to the day that this is completed.
