The random game prologue

The random game
Prologue

>"HELLO!"
>John: "AHHH!!!"
>"Hello, and welcome to the random game! You have been luckily chosen by our sponsors (mostly me though) and will be competing this year!"
>John: "Who in the world are you? Where am I?"
>"Oh, don't be fussy. It's all fun in games. My name is Clem Kneeroot. You are in the waiting room, where you will wait for every time when you take a challenge."
>John: "Wait, I didn't sign up for any challenges! This must be a mistake!"
>Clem: "Oh, but you did, my good man."
>Clem shows John a contract with his name on the bottom.
>John: "When did I..."
>Clem: "No time for that! Let's get to the instructions!"
> A TV pops out of nowhere, with a female voice giving out instructions.
>Voice: Hello, and welcome to the first annual Random Games! You, lucky random citizen, have been chosen to participate in the most prestigious competition in the universe. The prizes are great, but the fun is best! Now, here's how the game works.
>John sat there on a chair that came out of nowhere. He listened intently, wanting to know what he was about to get into.
>Voice: Every time Grand-master Clem thinks it's time for a challenge, he will tell you and send you to a random place that he makes. You will then have two options on how to beat the map.
1) Collect the secret shard that is hidden somewhere in the world (usually really hard to find)
or
2) Find a way to ruin everything (and there are plenty of ways to do that)
or
3) You die
Wait, that's three isn't it? Oh well. Since this is always random, the time you will be sent will also be random. And Clem is also always random. Isn't that right, master Clem.
>Clem: "You got that right!"
>Voice: Well then, that's all you need to know for now. You will be informed of everything you need to know by Clem when he sends you. Good luck!
>The voice switched off. John looked at Clem, with confusion on his face.
>John: "So, what now?"
>Clem: "Now, you wait."
>John: "What?"
>Clem: "I don't feel like a challenge right now. Tata!" Clem said with a 'poof' and he was gone.
>John sat there, not knowing what to do next.
>John: "*sigh* Guess I'll just take a nap"
>He laid down on the bed that also magically appeared out of nowhere. He was going to go along with this, just to see where it leads him.
*In Clem's bedroom*
>Clem: "Hey! Ellis!"
>Ellis: "Yeah, Clem?"
>"You'll never guess what I started up."
>End of Prologue
