You and your brother, Acer, encountered young Chi-chi, saving her from being hunted by monsters, returning her to her father the Ox King at her home at Mount Fry-Pan. From there, you resolve to stop the dumbly named Red Ribbon Army, encounter the monkey-tailed Son Goku...

...and introduce yourself by ineffectually shooting him in the face, fearing he's a dangerous Saiyan.

You join monkey boy on his quest to rescue his friends, stopping the Red Ribbon Army with the help of Android man Eighter, and end up trying to become students alongside Master Roshi with your brother, Goku, Chi-chi, and Krillin. Along the way, you stop the sun-hating vampire Demon Lucifer, meet the split personality woman Launch, and start training for the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament. You also help Roshi blow up the moon.

Making friends with the brilliant Bulma and gutsy Yamcha, agreeing to help Launch learn some skills in exchange for her more violent self changing her attitude, you compete in the Tournament with the other Turtle School students, meeting new faces along the way, and making it to the finals against Goku. By a hair, you come out on top and stand as the World Martial Arts Champion.

You then meet fellow alien Jaco, telling Bulma about your origins, and end up training under Roshi's sister, Fortuneteller Baba after meeting your old, deceased master Izumi once again. You learn some useful skills under her, and then put them to the test to stop the forces of Emperor Pilaf and King Gurumes from gathering the Dragon Balls, with help from your fellow Turtle students. Learning more about the Earth's history, you stop Pilaf, defeat the assassin Tao with assistance from robot girl Arale, and with help from Goku's friend Suno and her cousin Penny, heal King Gurumes and help him learn his lesson about greed. After training from Master Korin, you gather the final Dragon Ball and heal the ruined land of Gurumes.

You have more adventures after that, Master Roshi officially adopting you and your brother, meeting Crane School warriors Tien and Chiaotzu, eventually encountering Goku's friend Sanzo, or as he calls her, "Trip." To learn more about an influx of Demons threatening the Earth, you end up encountering Goku's deceased adoptive grandpa, Gohan, trained by one of the universe's gods, King Kai, demonstrating the Kaio-ken technique. You then encounter guardians of the Demon Realm, and encounter...

Her.

Towa, powerful Princess of the Demon Realm, constant thorn in your side, and overall kind of a bitch.

In any case, you rescue Princess Misa from Demon King Shura, taking his sword as a trophy. You then continue your training, meeting Bulma's sister, Tights, and standing up for Goku to Jaco. Before the 22nd World Martial Arts Tournament begins, you dedicate yourself to learning the Kaio-ken, eventually achieving the skill on your own after over a year of training.

The 22nd World Tournament features the Turtle and Crane Schools facing off, with Tien fighting recent members Launch and Yamcha, losing to the former bandit. Goku faces Arale and barely manages a victory over her, and faces you once more in the finals. You successfully defend your title in the finals, with a blazing victory over monkey boy.

Sadly your celebrations are cut short, as the return of King Piccolo results in the death of your brother. You struggle through the pain of loss and resolve to stop the evil Namekian, attaining the Ultra Divine Water with Goku, Tien, and Chi-chi, gaining the power needed to stop King Piccolo. With the help of Trip, Melee, Gola, and even Eighter, you stop the villainous Namekian, meet Kami, God of the Earth, and manage to revive your brother and all the people King Piccolo and his minions killed.

You then find out that Emperor Pilaf took over a land called Mifan... legitimately, offered to take the place of the missing Emperor, Chiaotzu, to try and bring some stability to the region once again. And he even offers to make you the guest of honor at the new Mifan Tag Team Tournament. You team up with Chi-chi and participate, meeting fighters like Mark Satan along the way. You claim victory with your friend against the Kaiju duo Godzilla and Gamera, and afterwards learn of Towa's nefarious plots in creating Artificial Demons.

After that, you help Goku learn to control the Oozaru transformation, with Kami's help, encountering, of all things, Planet Plant, home to Saiyans and Tuffles. Goku manages it, but you and your newly made Saiyan allies are attacked by King Vegeta, Goku tapping into hidden strengths as you all desperately try to stop him. These events... get Kami in serious trouble with the Goddess of Time, to say the least.

The encounter brings the two of you closer, with you realizing your feelings for the monkey boy. You discover a new skill with your friends, the ability to become faster than lightning, named the Raio-ken, and meet a human girl named Chuu Lee with natural skills at Ki, taking her on as a pupil as Krillin did for Lapis and Lazuli.

You then face off against Dr. Kochin and Dr. Wheelo, encountering Piccolo Jr. in the process. On the path to the 23rd Tournament, Bulma and Yamcha marry, you, brobro, and Trip stop Demon King Shura, meeting Prince Beelzebub, fight one of Towa's latest creations, and secure the Dragon Balls before the Demon woman can carry out with some terrible scheme.

The 23rd Tournament pits you against King Piccolo as Garlic Jr. and his henchmen try to cause trouble, Towa's creation Magil helping them along. You and Goku face off once more, with monkey boy claiming victory this time around. You rescue Kami from Garlic Jr. with help from your friends, and as the Makyan angrily tries to retaliate against his plans going awry, nearly killing you, Goku finally unlocks his Super Saiyan power! You and all your friends stop Garlic Jr. together, Goku standing as the new World Martial Arts Champion.

With the Tournament over, things start settling down. You and your friends continue your adventures, meeting Yazai, the Saiyan who became a God of Justice to try to stop King Vegeta's genocidal ambitions of conquest, eventually helping Piccolo stand as his own person, not as another tool of his father. Turns out he is REALLY good at skateboarding, too. Who knew? You and Goku finally married, as did your brother and Chi-chi.

And here your story begins once again, on October 12th, 761...
