'Citizens of Dalstard,

I apologize for the recent confusion involving the election. Two of the three candidates removed their names from the running, and due to personal reasons Chief Engineer Rob Martsen chose to step down as Seneschal. I was named Governor in the interim, as we would otherwise have been completely without leadership at the time.

There will still be an election on the aforementioned date. No details of the election have changed, save for the fact that Doctor Griffon Sedgwick and Master Marlow Delgado are no longer in the running. I, Lady Vivienne Ashworth, intend to remain in the race and will continue to be represented by a WHITE stone during voting time.

If you wish to run, please do not delay in sending word to Miss Liana Lumiere announcing your candidacy. Should no other candidates step forward before Election Day, I will consider it a mandate by the people to hold this position.

In the meantime, as Interim Governor, I will see to the duties of this station. This includes helping with the current "Trade Days" event, and acting as captain of the guard. Should anyone be requiring of my aid during this time, please seek me out at my home southwest of the bank, near the town wall.
