  75.
  76. Phew! That is 69 (heh, heh) pokemon! Well, I will begin to review them all, starting from number 1.
  77.
  78.
  79. Aegislash—
  80.
  81. This little sword has swept my team many times over. I think that running Brave nature, it could easily make OU. It has access to swords dance (duh) , sacred sword for type coverage, shadow sneak for priority, and King’s Shield for protection, it has a good movepool. The only downsides I can see are the fact that, when in Blade Form, it has horrible defenses, and your opponent can keep outpredicting you because of the four most common moves. Every once in a while, you see a special set, and that throws people off guard, but it doesn’t seem to be as effective as the physical set.
  82.
  83.
  84.
  85.
  86. Alakazam—
  87.
  88. Not much to say about this guy. He has been OU for five generations, and the focus sash substitute set is still very good. He got a cool new mega evolution, though. However, I think that the Focus Sash set is better because of the bad defenses. Still a solid choice for OU, and I expect it to remain that way in Kalos.
  89.
  90. Ampharos—
  91.
  92. This guy I’m not too sure about. He has good Special Attack, decent bulk, and mediocre speed. The one thing going for him is the mega evolution. Mega Ampharos has a new typing, Dragon Electric, and it’s special attack is outrageous, just like it’s hair. With STAB thunderbolt and dragon pulse, this thing could be a monster. The reason I am so skeptical on it is because of the fact that it is obvious who your mega is, and it’s speed hurts it. I say possible OU, but if it doesn’t get there, UU for sure.
  93.
  94.
  95. Azumarill—
  96.
  97. This guy got a BUFF this generation. It got the fairy typing, which rids it of the plain old water type. It gets a new, powerful STAB in Play Rough, so I expect the adamant nature to go far with it. The ability Huge Power doubles the mediocre attack stat, and when holding a mystic water, can go crazy with Play Rough, Waterfall, Aqua Jet, and Belly Drum. This thing can be a monster against unprepared teams. I expect it to be OU—FINALLY.
  98.
  99.
  100. Blissey—
  101.
  102. Yep. It is still one of the best special walls in the game. It has insane HP, and outrageous special defense, along with Softboiled for recovery. It even gets Aromatherapy, ridding your team of all those crummy status effects. This thing is still a brick wall. However, I was surprised it didn’t get the Fairy type. It looks like it should have it.
  103.
  104.
  105. Breloom—
  106.
  107. Breloom can be a good attacker. Two great abilities, Technician and Poison Heal, contribute a great deal to the mushroom. With technician, swords dance for buffs, rock tomb for coverage, mach punch for priority, and bullet seed for another STAB can make it go crazy. On the other hand, it can sport it’s not-to-terrible bulk with Poison Heal. Maybe substitute, protect, mach punch and bullet seed could be a thing. Not too sure about the Poison Heal set, but with technician, this thing is OU for sure.
  108.
  109. Celebi—
  110.
  111. Hasn’t changed too much. It still is very good in OU for it’s defensive stats. Setting up rocks, paralyzing, this thing can get annoying. Not much to say about it, though. ☹
  112.
  113.
  114. Chandelure—
  115.
  116. I’m not too sure about this guy, either. The two friends I tested with on Showdown, blackjack123 and aquanicolas, have mixed views on it. Blackjack says that with a Choice Scarf, trick, will-o-wisp, shadow ball, and fire blast could make OU. However, aquanick says that with the bad stats in HP, defense, special defense, and speed, coupled with the weakness to earthquake, stone edge, and stealth rocks, it is probably going to make UU. Having played with the chandelier myself, I feel that it is 50/50. I really am not sure about it at all. It is a shot in the dark, but to not put it on this list isn’t acceptable, so it is here.
  117.
  118.
  119.
  120. Chansey—
  121.
  122. I’m not too sure about her either. She has better defenses than Blissey when holding the Eviolite, but in doing that, loses the leftovers. The HP is not as high either. For the same reasons as Blissey, she is on this list. I’m just more sure about Blissey than Chansey.
  123.
  124.
  125. Charizard—
  126.
  127. Wrapping up the first ten reviews is Charizard. NU last generation, but it got two mega evolutions which really help it’s cause. Mega Charizard Y has the same 50% damage from Stealth Rocks, but Drought powers up a sun based team, and powers up it’s own moves. The special attack got higher as well. However, there is Mega Charizard X as well. Not as mainstream as Y, but it surprises players such as myself whenever used. We send in pokemon like Magnezone to t-bolt it and watch it die, but instead we watch helplessly as: The opposing Charizard’s Mega Stone is reacting to _____’s Mega Ring! The opposing Charizard Mega-Evolved into Mega Charizard X! Then we stare at our pokemon’s HP go farther down until it hits 0, from a STAB outrage. Then our ice types like Mamoswine cannot do anything to it because of the only 1x damage from Ice attacks. Indeed, the only way o counter this thing is with a Fairy Type, but I’ve seen Mega Charizard X live 2 aqua jets from Adamant STAB 252 31 Attack IV’s mystic water aqua jet. Both Charizards are monsters, and will both see OU.
  128.
  129.
  130. Cloyster—
  131.
  132. Skill Link is an amazing ability. With rock blast and icicle spear in the movepool, and access to shell smash, it can get ridiculous. Amazing defenses, shell smash, white herb, this thing has a lot of uses. I expect it to be OU for a long while.
  133.
  134.
  135. Conkeldurr—
  136.
  137. The attack on this thing is through the roof. It has iron fist for the leftovers item, and guts for the flame orb. The attacks on this thing stay the same, bulk up, mach punch, drain punch and ice punch, but its bulk helps it even more. Solid choice for OU.
  138.
  139.
  140. Donphan—
  141.
  142. This one has been a controversial pick for me. People are saying that with Excadrill back down in OU, donphan will fall to UU. BBBBUUUUTTTT… Donphan has better defense and HP than excadrill. It can live with sturdy and set up the rocks. It doesn’t have to carry around an Air Balloon to avoid getting OHKO’d. It also has a priority in Ice Shard. That is why I think it will remain in OU, with the niche of rocks and rapid spin.
  143.
  144.
  145. Dugtrio—
  146.
  147. This guy hasn’t changed a bit. Let me tell you, old focus sash sucker punch reversal arena trap derp is just as good as it was in all gens beforehand. That’s all.
  148.
  149.
  150. Espeon—
  151.
  152. With Magic Bounce, decent bulk and relatively good special attack, I like this cat. Though not as good as some other options, it will still see OU play. Hasn’t really changed that much from BW though, so yet another sadly short review.
  153.
  154.
  155.
  156.
  157.
  158.
  159. Excadrill—
  160.
  161. Yahoo! This thing is BACK with the nerf to sand, and it is ready to crush some souls with the Air Balloon. With earthquake, rapid spin, swords dance and just awesome attack stat, I am ready to use it every day of every week. It gets Mold Breaker, which is handy dandy against pokemon like shuckle and other sturdy mons, along with some derpy levitate guys. This thing is back, ready to eat you up, and it won’t stop in this gen. The mole that is weirdly short in X and Y is back and will be here for a while!
  162.
  163.
  164. Exploud—
  165.
  166. This guy is yet ANOTHER controversial pick for me. The only reason it is here is on word: Boomburst. The 140 base power, 100 accuracy move exclusive to Exploud, Noivern, Taillow, Swellow and Chatot is here, and with choice specs, STAB, max special attack, can put a dent in just about anything, even ghost types with it’s handy dandy ability, Scrappy. That allows ghost types to get hit by a very effective move, so nothing is free from the wrath.
  167.
  168. Ferrothron—
  169.
  170. Goddamn it, this stupid thing is back again. With the iron barbs, great defenses, and access to rocks and spikes, this thing can hold a rocky helmet and just about counter all physical attackers. It even has a good attacking move in Power Whip so it isn’t taunt fodder. Even though I hate this thing and it almost made me quit competitive battling in BW, it will be here on this list because it is still a great pokemon. *sob*.
  171.
  172. Forretress—
  173.
  174. FINALLY this is my final pokemon on my second set of ten. I’ve been here for an hour and a half, researching and typing, then putting it on showdown and getting yelled at for stupid decisions. But, forretress is still a very good pokemon. It has sturdy for the ability, which is fantastic, along with very good defenses. It can rapid spin away those hazards and then set up hazards, stealth rocks, spikes, and toxic spikes. If it gets into any trouble, it just volt switches out, waiting in the shadows for the next fool to sac their mamoswine to set up the rocks.
  175.
  176.
  177. Froslass—
  178.
  179. Dat Lass! The reason I chose Froslass here is the fact that it is just simply going to be too good for UU. Froslass will be OU, but it will not be used as often as other OU pokemon. The only reason I think that this girl will not be in OU will be the banlist of UU, BL. Froslass is a good pokemon and will be seeing OU play, it’s just the fact of whether or not it will end up being OU or BL.
  180.
  181. Garchomp—
  182.
  183. The fact that this guy got a mega evolution will not impact this guy’s usage at all. The garchompite will never see competitive play. Scarfchomp is the way to go. Excellent attack, speed make this guy a monster. It also has that Hidden Ability, Rough Skin. Yes, this mon has descended from Ubers to join us in Generation 6, where it is surrounded by Fairy Types, impacting it’s usage only a smidge. With Max speed in EV’s, IV’s and Nature, holding a choice scarf makes it’s speed 500. That is why it will remain in OU. Besides the obvious, of course.
  184.
  185. Gastrodon—
  186.
  187. The sea slug is back for another round in OU. It has outstanding bulk, access to muddy water for accuracy loss, toxic, and recover. This guy is a staple in stall teams, and it’s water weakness can be nullified by Storm Drain, which ups it’s special attack as well as taking no damage from one of it’s weaknesses. Gastrodon will see heavy usage and will always be a threat.
  188.
  189. Gengar—
  190.
  191. This thing got a mega evolution and everybody was crapping their pants about how good it was. Eventually, Smogon caught on, and after the chaos was over, the Gengarite was the first mega stone to be banned. Blaziken and Mewtwo’s stones weren’t banned, they themselves were. Even without the gengarite, Gengar remains a threat. Outstanding Special Attack and Speed, along with Levitate, make this thing a competitor, not including great STABs in Shadow Ball and Sludge Bomb. Expect to see many Gengars in OU for a long time.
  192.
  193. Gliscor—
  194.
  195. Damn it. I hate this thing. Poison Heal for 12% recovery every turn, along with substitute and protect, make this thing a pain in the ass to deal with. If your team is not running a strong ice type or a strong ice type move for coverage, you will soon see yourself eventually dying to this guy’s sheer bulk and recovery. Always going to be around to ruin your day, this guy is seen a lot in OU, and will be for a while, sadly.
  196.
  197. Goodra—
  198.
  199. The slimy dragon has great bulk. Special Defense is high, along with it’s HP, and even it’s Special Attack is more than decent. Holding an Assault Vest, this thing can get you with thunderbolt, dragon pulse, ice beam and flamethrower. Holding Leftovers, this thing can get you with Toxic, dragon pulse, substitute, and protect. There are a few movesets you should know about, and those are above. The ability Gooey is very good on Goodra. With it’s outstanding special defense, the other guy will naturally want to hit it with a physical move. The Gooey ability will drop their speed, so you can suddenly switch out to a sweeper and crush the Scizor or whatever the hell it is.
  200.
  201.
  202.
  203. Greninja—
  204.
  205. Finally, FINALLY I get to talk about the ninja frog. The ability Protean is ridiculous, allowing it to have STAB everything. U-turn, Ice beam, Dark Pulse and Surf make this thing a threat. With the Timid nature, you can get out of speed ties and outspeed some threats, notably Starmie. This thing has great potential, and I am expecting to see it running around a lot.
  206.
  207. Gyarados—
  208.
  209. Another mon to get a mega evolution is Gyarados. To be honest, I think that the Gyaradosite suffers from the same symptom as the Garchompite, that being: The regular Pokemon is better than the mega! True, as Gyarados can hold leftovers for recovery, or just about any competitive viable item out there. Gyarados will stay in OU, just because of it’s tremendous attack and speed. The old Generation 1 mon will be seen a lot in OU even today.
  210.
  211. Haxorus—
  212.
  213. Good old Haxorus, who can compete with the other dragons. Even with Dragonite, Garchomp, Salamence, and all those other big huge stompy dragons, Haxorus finds in niche in Dragon Dance and spamming outrage. Tremendous attack, after it gets a dragon dance up, nothing stands in it’s path. Except for fairy types. To run Haxorus, I would suggest you carry Scizor or another offensive-based steel type to rid your team of fairies. But, with nothing standing in it’s path, Haxorus is a force to be reckoned with.
  214.
  215. Heatran—
  216.
  217. This guy hasn’t changed much in Generation 6. He has a great typing, outstanding bulk and a great ability in Flash Fire. With the Air balloon, Heatran is an amazing bulk pokemon, and has many uses. It can be used to Torment, it can be a sweeper, it can be a tank, and it can be a stallmon. All in all, Heatran’s greatness overall will grant it OU for the rest of the Generation.
  218.
  219.
  220.
  221.
  222. Heracross—
  223.
  224. Many people are controversial on this pick. Heracross has a good movepool, good stats, and a Mega Evolution. Without a mega, it can be a sweeper holding a focus sash, because STAB max attack Close Combat or megahorn will dent anything in the OU tier. That being said, Heracross is by no means a greta pokemon, and the bug and fighting type slots are taken over by superior pokemon such as scolipede and lucario. Heracross is here because of the same reason Froslass is here, the fact that it is too good for UU. Heracross will see OU play, but it is a shot in the dark for OU or BL.
  225.
  226.
  227. Hippowdon—
  228.
  229. This guy doesn’t get enough respect. Old Hippo has better defenses than tyranitar, and beats Tyranitar in 1 on 1. He has access to slack off, stealth rock, and ice fang for coverage. Of course, earthquake is a needed move, but I have seen many Hippowdons wall opposing teams very hard. Hippowdon is a great choice for a mixed wall, so I strongly suggest you give credit to Old Hippo if you need a wall.
  230.
  231. Hydreigon—
  232.
  233. This dragon dark type is a great offensive mon. He has great stats in both attacks and in speed. He has access to outrage and dark pulse as great STABs, as well as dragon claw for some mixed action. Hydreigon was strong last generation, and it will remain so in Kalos.
  234.
  235. Infernape—
  236.
  237. One of the only starters, if not the only one, to make my list, and for a good reason. It has great speed and attack, coupled with great STABs in Flare blitz and close combat. It even has mach punch for priority. It’s great to see a monkey that is on fire make it in OU, and the fact that it is a starter makes it even better.
  238.
  239. Jellicent—
  240.
  241. Another wall pokemon that will make it is Jellicent. It has fantastic bulk, and totally counters all fighting types. Conkeldurr falls to the blob. Infernape and Heracross fall to the blob. Many top-tier pokemon like Kangaskhan fall to the blob. Jellicent is a very good pokemon, definitely OU viable.
  242.
  243. Jirachi—
  244.
  245. Duh. Jirachi is in OU. Big surprise. Serene Grace is that annoying. It even has the good stats. Old paraflinch is back, and ready to eat more souls.
  246.
  247. Jolteon—
  248.
  249. This cat is JUST fast enough to make it. It is undisputed that it is OU now, but as the metagame keeps producing faster and better pokemon, this gen 1 cat will probably see it’s end to OU in the upcoming generations. It still has a good movepool, in thunderbolt and shadow ball, but I don’t expect it to stay much longer, I don’t know why. I just do. But for now, Jolteon is here, so enjoy the ride.
  250.
  251.
  252.
  253.
  254. Kangaskhan—
  255.
  256. The pokemon itself is not OU, the item is. Mega Kangaskhan is a fantastic pokemon. If you use power-up punch, you get a base 60 power swords dance. It just gets better from there. Return hits twice. Earthquake hits twice. Fake out hits twice. All those yummy moves in Kangaskhan’s movepool hit twice. That is why this thing is in OU. Dat stone, brah.
  257.
  258. Keldeo—
  259.
  260. The pony is back. Water fighting is a great type, and the movepool makes it better. Keldeo will be here all generation, get used to it. It is too good.
  261.
  262. Klefki—
  263.
  264. Yet another controversial pick for me. It has prankster, and it can set up spikes and dual screens and taunt with priority. It can also have moonblast or something so it isn’t taunt fodder. I think it will compete with Sableye for this role, and it has a nice niche in OU.
  265.
  266. Landorus—
  267.
  268. Uber last generation, but back to OU this generation. With the nerf to sand, it will stay in OU, and with a great new move in Aeroblast, thrown in to boot. Landorus has tremendous attack stat, and great typing, so I expect it to rip through teams like last generation. The one thing that helps it stay OU is the one thing that hurts it, though. That thing is sand force. It’s other abilities are not sand force, and sand force is the best ability on Landorus. Without sand, landorus users will have to turn to Sheer Force. While still a good ability, it is by no means Sand Force. That is why landorus is a force to be reckoned with, haha.
  269.
  270.
  271.
  272.
  273. Landorus-Therian—
  274.
  275. This guy saw some use last generation, but not as much as it should have been. Tremendous attack, great speed, and decent bulk, as well as a great ability in Intimidate. Landorus-Therian is a great pokemon overall. It deserves to be OU, and should be used more often.
  276.
  277. Lucario—
  278.
  279. Lucario is quite possibly one of the best pokemon in OU. Ol’ Luke has insane attack and special attack stats, as well as great speed. It has access to 3 priority moves, in vacuum wave, mach punch, and extreme speed. Lucario also got a mega evolution. With the mega evolution, Luke’s speed as well as the attack stats both got a great buff. Lucario also has great STAB’s in close combat and aura sphere, and could very well earn the Lucarionite a one-way ticket to Ubers. All in all, Lucario is a great pokemon in OU.
  280.
  281.
  282. Magnezone—
  283.
  284. Magnezone is a great special attacker. It’s special attack stat is through the roof, and it has great STABs in flash cannon and thunderbolt. It has two notable weaknesses, those being Ground and Fire. The ground weakness is very erasable by the Air Balloon. However, this makes it unable to carry choice specs, which stops it from OHKOing ferrothorn with hidden power fire. Magnezone’s ability magnet pull allows it to trap scizor, ferrothorn, forretress and metagross. Magnezone is a great special sweeper in OU, but the 4x weakness to ground hurts it. You could always run magnet rise, but that also stops it from holding the choice specs.
  285.
  286. Mamoswine—
  287.
  288. Mamoswine is a great pokemon in generation 6. It has insane attack and great bulk. It’s speed is also not half bad when it is running 252 EVs and 31 Ivs. Mamoswine has fantastic STABs in earthquake and icicle crash, along with STAB priority in ice shard. It also can run stealth rocks. I personally run my mamoswine with a focus sash, but leftovers are also fairly common.
  289.
  290. Mandibuzz—
  291.
  292. Mandibuzz has good bulk, which allows it to take mega Scizor relatively well, but that is not the reason mandibuzz is OU. Mandibuzz is OU because it has a nice niche, which is the fact that it has tremendous bulk and access to defog and taunt. Let me just say, taunt Mandibuzz just shits on Klefki. However, mandibuzz is by no means a good pokemon. It doesn’t have very good offensive stats or special defense. It is very slow, and has a bad movepool. The only reason this is on this list is because of defog.
  293.
  294. Mawile—
  295.
  296. Mawile got a mega evolution, which is the only reason it is here. Mega Mawile has base 105 attack, but with the ability Huge Power, that becomes base 210. It has a great STAB in play rough. Mawile is a very powerful pokemon, but the bad speed and poor bulk hurts it.
  297.
  298. Metagross—
  299.
  300. People say that Metagross doesn’t deserve to be on this list, but I think he is pretty good. He checks some fairy types, and can set up the rocks. He also has a good STAB in meteor mash. Metagross may not be the greatest pokemon in OU but it will remain in OU this generation.
  301.
  302.
  303.
  304. Noivern—
  305.
  306. Noivern may not be the most powerful pokemon, but it has great speed. It can U-Turn, draco meteor, boomburst and other offensive moves like air slash and hurricane. Carrying a Choice Specs and having maximum speed, Noivern can be a threat to unprepared teams. However, ice shard from mamoswine kills it. Be sure to take out any ice types before sending in Noivern.
  307.
  308. Pinsir—
  309.
  310. Mega Pinsir is a threat. Pinsir has moxie and can get a +1 bonus before setting up Swords dance. Mega Pinsir has aerilate as the ability, which turns all normal type moves into flying type moves. They then get a 30% bonus to power. It has a very powerful STAB in return, and quick attack for priority. Mega Pinsir is a force to be reckoned with, and can easily sweep unprepared teams. Like mine. I have been swept by Mega Pinsir twenty seven times. *sigh*
  311.
  312. Reuniclus—
  313.
  314. Reuniclus is extremely slow. However, it has better bulk than alakazam, and can hold a life orb without the damage, raising it’s special attack to extreme levels. It also has great bulk. Reuniclus has five viable moves, those being psyshock, shadow ball, recover, trick room and focus blast. The three most common are psyshock, shadow ball and recover. Trick room and focus blast seem interchangeable. Reuniclus is a great pokemon and will get OU easily.
  315.
  316.
  317. Rotom-Heat—
  318.
  319. Rotom heat form is different. I have not seen it used that often, but it seems good enough to be OU. Good defensive stats and good offensive stats, I guess.
  320.
  321. Rotom-Wash—
  322.
  323. Yep. This guy is still here. Back in generation 5, it made great use of Resto Chesto, along with volt switch, hydro pump, and will-o-wisp. With Kalos here, the assault vest gives it new possibilities. Sure, it can no longer get will-o-wisp and rest, but with an open spot for thunderbolt and another move, who knows where this guy can go. However, he is still a solid choice for OU and I see him used more than any other pokemon, with the exception of greninja, talonflame and aegislash.
  324.
  325. Sableye—
  326.
  327. Prankster was good to this pokemon. It gets priority will-o-wisp, taunt, and other naughty things to piss off the opponent. It has one chink this generation, which is the fairy type. It now has a type super effective against it, and that hurts it moderately. Still, this guy is OU viable. Side note guys, I did the research and found that there is now no typing in the game with zero weaknesses. Yep.
  328.
  329. Salamence—
  330.
  331. Ol’ Mencemeat is back. He has incredible attack and speed, with good bulk thrown in to boot. Access to outrage, dragon claw, earthquake, and other meaty items, he is an astonishing destroyer. Teams unprepared with a fairy will soon see the sheer power of the pseudo-legendary dragon crushing their hopes and dreams. ☹
  332.
  333. Scizor—
  334.
  335. Scizor is a good mon. He has great bulk, with access to roost, but the reason it is OU is the attack. It has priority in bullet punch, power in pursuit and bug bite, and with the ability technician, it boost Scizor’s usage. It also has access to defog to rid you of the pesky hazards. Scizor got a mega evolution as well, and it got more attack. ‘Nuff said. Scizor is very slow however, and magnezone gets it with a solid hidden power fire. Scizor will be OU for a very, very long time.
  336.
  337. Scolipede—
  338.
  339. Why people don’t se this guy is a wonder to me. It will become a semi underpowered Blaziken. It has swords dance, speed boost and baton pass. What more can you ask for? Well, good speed, great attack, and good movepool with a great STAB in megahorn. Scolipede is an enormous threat and should be used more often.
  340.
  341. Skarmory—
  342.
  343. Skarmory is a premier defensive wall. It has a great typing, only weak to electric, and reliable recovery in roost. It can set up the spikes and bother with toxic. It even has a STAB in brave bird. Skarmory wrecks unprepared teams, so I recommend a strong fire type. Skarmory has been OU for a while, and it will be tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day. Phone call, Mr. Dooom. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day.
  344.
  345. Slowbro—
  346.
  347. I’m am a slowbro bro. He has great defensive stats, and is wall material. Slack off for recovery, and it totally walls Talonflame. With toxic, scald for burning, slack off, and psychic for just doing what he does, I think slowbro will be bumped up this generation. Here is why: Say you are all done with your team, six goodies, but you look and see talonflame completely shits on your team. So you stare at your keldeo, and realize you also need a defensive wall, which rules out the rotom-wash. So you turn to slowbro, always there with the defenses. Also, it’s ability regenerator is fantastic.
  348.
  349. Sunkern—
  350.
  351. Lol I’m just kidding. I like him, though. He’s fun. ☺
  352.
  353. Talonflame—
  354.
  355. Holy shit, talonflame. We all saw him and thought: Great. Fire flying. Another to the boondocks of NU. But we never figured in his great ability, gale wings. He gets priority in all his flying type moves, and that is ridiculous. He has priority brave bird, and roost. Priority acrobatics. Fantastic STABs in flare blitz, brave bird, and acrobatics. However, the stealth rocks weakness hurts it. But, quite possibly the biggest threat in OU right now. You need to carry a solid counter to it, like heatran, rotom-wash or slowbro, to avoid getting bird shit all over your team.
  356.
  357. Tentacruel—
  358.
  359. Tentacruel has good special defense and defense. He has access to rapid spin. Good typing. Toxics people. What more could you ask for in a wall? Well, liquid ooze to avoid them giga drainers and drain punchers. Solid choice for OU.
  360.
  361.
  362.
  363.
  364. Terrakion—
  365.
  366. This dog’s got monstrous attack. Holding a choice band, it can use it’s attack and fantastic speed to wreak havoc. Last generation, I had him use close combat, stone edge, earthquake and quick attack. It killed people. A lot of people.
  367.
  368. Thundurus—
  369.
  370. Though the rain is gone, nerfed away, thundurus finds himself in OU. He has great stats and great moves, so I expect him to be here for a while. Thunderbolt, hurricane, are great STABs. He will be here for a while.
  371.
  372. Togekiss—
  373.
  374. The fairy type let it really shine for the first time. It has a great ability in serene grace, and a great STAB in air slash. It also can get thunder wave, and may easily become another jirachi to worry about. Finally, this guy can really shine.
  375.
  376. Tornadus-Therian—
  377.
  378. Bird! I have literally never seen him in play, but my accomplices say he is a very good pokemon to be using. The nerf to weather will bring him back down to us, on a spiral staircase.
  379.
  380. Toxicroak—
  381.
  382. Toxicroak seems like a mediocre pokemon, but holding a choice scarf, it can shine. It gets sucker punch, drain punch and fake out, along with poison jab. It has a great ability in Poison Touch, allowing all of those moves a 30% chance to poison, and poison jab becomes a 60% chance. Toxicroak will stay in OU, even without the sweet, sweet rain.
  383.
  384. Tyranitar—
  385.
  386. Sand is still used a little. Even without the sand, tyranitar is a good pick for OU. It got a mega evolution, which lets it live two hydro pumps from rotom-wash at max hp and special defense, and access to stealth rocks. It is a great pokemon overall, and I expect it to remain OU.
  387.
  388. Vaporeon—
  389.
  390. Vaporeon is still a good pokemon, even without the rain. It is a great special wall, and it has access to wish. Though there are better mons out there, like Blissey, he holds a special place in our hearts, and in OU.
  391.
  392.
  393. Venusaur—
  394.
  395. Penisaur helped me win many battles under the sun last generation, and it is back now as well. It’s new mega evolution makes it very, very good, with the ability thick fat. It is also extremely bulky and strong, and will remain in OU, even without the sun a factor.
  396.
  397. Volcarona—
  398.
  399. This generation 5 pokemon is back for another ride in OU. It has wonderful special attack, and good bulk, along with quite good speed. It does not have the sun anymore, but after using one quiver dance, it doesn’t really even matter. Volcarona was a monster under the sun last generation, and this generation it will also be a monster, assuming there are no stealth rocks on your side of the battlefield.
