Im gonna try to do my best explaining how I got demoted and before we start I just want to say that I will not get repromoted I clearly got told, anyways, read the whole story through! And I hope you will understand better what happened.


So it all started last Friday, [21 March], I just had a stressful and extremely tiering day at school , then I came online and played a few games... I was extremely tired and sent this message to Gill thinking he could motivate me, in a way.


"Gill ive had enough, border line, I'm about to retire because i get no more fun from playing
on Avicus, same old maps, lobby no updates…. i think we gave Funky enough time ._.



Im not friendly with peeps anymore… no emoticons in game when i see people i know, I'm
like, Hai no fun…



Ive been acting like a jerk towards friends by snitching….


I kinda have lost hope in actually becoming a full mod 2 months 13 days….. when I'm playing

i get bored and depressed easily "Watch the language…. Watch the caps…. No

teamspleefing…. No swearing…. erhh…….."


Gets extremely boring…



Normally I would send this to Howsie, since he's the staff manager but he dosnt seem to
really care ._.

he's stuck with his damn ponies… ._.

Gill never replied to my message and never said anything about it. I didnt think he even had seen it.

I never heard from it again.


The next day, Saturday, I played the whole day on Avicus, I was enjoying it I had a good night of sleep and was motivated.  Until I left for a hockey game at around 6 pm. The game lasted for 1h30 and I came back at around 8pm. After the game I took a shower and then I logged on Skype, receiving a message from Howsie, the one that follows...

I was kinda of shocked, wait... what?

Why did I get demoted?

What did I do?

What happened?!



In my mind, I was set, Howsie hated me an abused his powers, he demoted someone he didnt like, and promoted the ones he liked.

I started acting like a jerk on the forums at this point, after asking Howsie to tell me why I got demoted, which he never actually responded to.

I assume you guys all know the "my friend" part. If not im gonna resume it,

I told a friend I got Mod the day I got it, he told me when I was gonna get promoted to full mod. I answered him, if everything goes as expected, in one month.


Then I waited, giving him frequent updates on how It was going on the server... After one month and 2 weeks, he understood that I cared about the promotion and it was affecting me more then I couldved expected...  I was really promotion hungry, I guess I can call it that, and no it was not because I wanted to abuse my powers.




I wanted to be able to answer all the reports by myself, not having to talk on Staff chat all the time asking for banning this guy for this and this one for that...  I usually was "praying" to become a mod and ban all the hackers in mczone on Nexus. Ive seen so many, and i was seeing so many in that gamemode. That was my actual dream to become a mod so i could ban them all, i guess (Hackers -.-) It was my original intention back in the days.



So about my friend, to conclude, he messaged Howsie telling him I was depressed and he never got a responce



So after that, Sunday [March 23], i acted like a jerk on the forums, saying mean stuff because I was mad, I really was, stuff like,

Then Monday, the day after I went to school like any other kid on the planet, and I came back and had this huge but huge conversation with Gill.

[2014-03-25 18:06:10] AwarriorVenom: I couldved done a survey but Gill wasn't gonna post it on staff chat anyways, so i needed to sent them to you someway anyways, all these messages I sent you were to tell you that I'm happier than ever playing on Avicus and I enjoy the community and moderating, the message I usually sent to Gill was meant for him so he could "remotivate" me. Tell me how to improve as a mod and how to have fun on the server again I guess.   He didn't tell me anything and just copied and pasted it to you, then I got demoted for no reasons, (You didn't give me any reasons). I decided i wanted to quit Avicus, but all these persons telling me not to go was the best thing ever and I figured that I was actually loved amoung the community and people cared about me.    I sent those messages to change your mind on my demotion, to tell you that I sort of changed a bit and I actually enjoy playing on Avicus again…

For example , when you play on something for a long time, and you get bored of it after a while and someone takes it away from you you start redesiring it and enjoying it more then ever. In my case, its playing on Avicus…

I dont know what to say or think about this anymore... I dont know wheter I need to cry or smile after thinking of this, this whole thing... Anyways, its pretty clear to me im not gonna get Mod anymore... dream *boof!* *disapeared*


Im just gonna say one thing, think before doing anything, take your time, dont make stupid mistakes that could come back to you... For anything, from keeping your Mod title to breaking up with your girlfriend/boyfriend.

I will still be playing on Avicus, that is for sure, killing people thats is for sure... :P I am and will still be a great pvper
